** Pulitzer Prize awards are handed to the photographer not the camera!
So, truth be told, it's the person holding the camera is the artist creating the photo. Next, understand the foundation of this channel and photography itself, "the camera does not make a bad photographer a great photographer", a camera of $42 or $4,200. will not create an award-winning shot.
As far as post processing your work, well if you want to get the finest image you can after the shutter clicks, you absolutely must do some post work.
If you ordered a meal at a restaurant, would you like the meal better if the chef tweaked your food to the highest pro chef level? Yes of course.
    Be well.

    *Photographer Carmine Taverna Defines Street Photography in these words;
Street photography, a genre of photography that records everyday life in a public place. The very publicness of the setting enables the photographer to take candid pictures of strangers, often without their knowledge. Street photographers do not necessarily have a social purpose in mind, but they prefer to isolate and capture moments which might otherwise go unnoticed.
    ***Why are CCD cameras better?
CCD sensors create high-quality, low-noise images. CMOS sensors are usually more susceptible to noise. Because each photosite on a CMOS sensor has several transistors located next to it, the light sensitivity of a CMOS chip tends to be lower, as many of the photons hit the transistors instead of the photosite.

The following is a Rebecca West Quote.
"Any authentic work of art, must start an argument, between the artist and his audience."
    Must Read
"Photographic art overlaps with the landscape, portraiture, and other photography types. It is defined by the artist's vision and approach to get distinct photographs. Unlike other forms of photography, fine art photography is about capturing what the artist sees instead of what the camera sees. It is just another tool for artists to produce their art."
(Quote from N.F. I. The Nashville Film Institute)
**The CCD was invented in 1969 at Bell Labs by Willard Boyle and George Smith. Since that CCD FILM LIKE SENSOR was sensitive to light it was used as image sensor for video and TV cameras. It could also be used as a memory device or analogue signal delay since it's principally a kind of analogue shift-register circuit.

Once again your your photo class has resurected an equipment recollection from the dark corners of my psyche. That Kowa specialized lens had me remember
that a longtime freelance photographer friend has a similar optic. I asked him and he told me it is a 0,75mm f1:8(?) He got at a surplus electronic store
that is now located in a neighboring community by me. I have also got for cheap usable lenses there. eg. f9:0 process camera lenses. My friend a few years ago
bought a box of such lenses from a guy in Toronto. He adapgted some to his Pentax 6X7. He shot images on transparency film. The color saturation and resolution
were phenominal!. The only medium format camera that I have is a Rollei SL66. It is a great tinkerer's camera. It focal plane shutter and tilt bellows lets one to be able to adapt a lot of different optics. These comments of mine are simply a reinforcement of your on going premise of trying different approaches. Yor abstract impressionistic food images done with your Kowa is terriffic! They had me go back and look ar them again. Oh. those are forks and straws. Be safe and well.

Always enjoy your post. Way back in the 60’s we would use shattered filters to get abstract images on Kodachrome. All the best. Old Dog

Carmine, You did an amazing job, as always, given Kowa's long history of high quality, which I believe has gone unappreciated, and I appreciate your focus on the diverse variety of optical designs that Kowa has successfully developed. It is not often recognized that Kowa is a major player in anamorphic, projection, and cinematic lenses. The Kowa 6X6 lenses have excellent optical properties, including sharpness and contrast. Although Kowa only produced medium format lenses for a short time, it's worth considering how much better the lenses could have been if they had stuck with the medium and had been given a second chance at updating the 6X6 system rather than abandoning it.
Finally, although I might be completely wrong, I think Kowa could have come really close to Hasselblad in terms of optical output if they had continued to produce medium format lenses. However, in terms of build quality, it is nearly impossible to match with Hasselblad.
