Help please I’ve checked that Apple airplay and HomeKit is turned on and my fire tv shows up in iphone control center, but when I select it, it just hangs and says “unable to connect to TV”. It doesn’t pop up with the code like yours. I’ve tried restarting the Tv, airplane mode, nothing works. :(
I wish apple would make something like samsung dex, or desktop mode on android, but sadly we got this goofy directly mirrored screen with huge black bars😔
This used to work for me but no longer does anymore; I tried restarting my tv, clearing the cache and data, updating my phone and tv to the latest software, NOTHING
We dont have an Apple product but that looks cool as heck

This works differently for some people some will be in the display and sound option but might be called Enable Display Mirroring

I guess fire tv sticks are not compatible with AirPlay and Home Kit. Only fire tv set.

Maybe slightly... not bad if at all. Will depend more on your wifi and device then Airplay!

So sorry to hear this... is it possible you are on the wrong band of your network? Like 5ghz vs 2.4ghz etc?
