I've got a 1962hw and the sound with a Strat is mega. Just a massive clean tone that can get a bit dirty but not massively overdriven without help from a pedal. The open back cab just fills the room with sound, it's glorious
UA-cam guitar technique? Bill Frisell and John Scofield have been using neck vibrato for decades. As for Chris, he's played with Slash and has had a #1 record. He's the real deal.
UA-camr?? You're showing your ignorance of the guitar world here... Chris Buck is quite rightly lauded as one of the best guitarists in the world now. He's been playing in bands and with big stars for years and his new band is destined for big things having beaten Gallagher to number 1 ... He's been on UA-cam for just a couple years and it's great to see a real musician on UA-cam instead of all the shredders and suchlike. So many people including superstars know that Chris is one of the big new names and NOT a youtuber. Oh yeah and the neck vibrato? He's done it for years and it's incredible Now get back in your hole
Love to hear him and his thoughts on the mode 4 sitting behind him there. Go ahead…Roast me. I love that amp. I wouldn’t replace it for another amp but FOR WHAT IT IS, I’d like to hear more about that amp all these years later from real players.
Had one of those as a kid (ok, 21 yr old). Bought it without having a clue what I was doing. Sold it few years later. Regretted it a few years after that.
Way too much talking. Minute #1 real good. A guy playing guitar thru Marshall Bluesbreaker. Cool. Minute #2-6 nonstop talking over guitar playing in the background. Makes no sense.
Finally a video review of this amp where someone actually played it like it should be played and showed some of its range

I’ve got the same amp. Its overdriven sounds with a Les Paul are legendary but the cleaner sounds it gets with a Strat plugged in are truly heavenly.
Wonderful gentlemen!!!
Well said Keith. How to get more from your language with less words. 👌
That tone with the strat was godly.perfect strat tone imo
Just a sublimely talented guitarist and an all-round decent guy
What a fantastic sounding amp.
Nothing beats a Marshall 🤘!!
Except Dumble
Sound fantastic, very nice performance also
Glorious!!
Does anyone know when Marshall will release the hw version again?
THE sound of RAWK! \m/
Are you showing how an amp sounds, or a bunch of effects?
Ooof… dreams!
Every time I see this guy he runs through the full gamut of UA-cam guitar techniques, waggle they hell out of the neck quick

@@marcusl3828 I was just about to say something very similar...in fact I think I will

@@wilkowilkins363 Agreed. One of the best. He's going to push the art forward, already is...

There is a lot of reverb on that given that the amp doesn’t have reverb.
Guitars used are>>>>>>> nice demo and a top marshall sound
How to go deaf in style! Love it
Tremendous player's player, Mr. Buck. Way to leak the future SLP episode ;)

So glad he wasn’t using his Yamahas on this video.
