  • SUMMER BREAK As Terri takes a couple of weeks away from her podcast duties, please enjoy a replay of one of the most popular episodes.
    Episode #166 (#137)
In this episode Nadia and Terri dive deep into why so many of us struggle to make progress and therefore stay stuck in the uncomfortable space of starting/stopping, or how many of us push ourselves so hard that we can't sustain consistently to see the lasting results.
Tune in to find out how our brain can sometimes trip us up when it comes to motivation because of its love for novelty, and why so many people start the New Year with good intentions but struggle to maintain that momentum for long enough to see lasting results.
How do we change our mindset to overcome these issues? Terri shares some great analogies to help adjust our mindset and behaviour and take confident steps towards the success we have been looking for, and Nadia reinforces the importance of taking a step-by-step approach towards therapeutic fasting that starts with, of course, TRE (time-restricted eating).

This was great, thank you for replaying it because I missed it when you originally posted it. I was on a roll with the Therapeutic Fasting with 2/24 and one 39-42 for 4 weeks and last week the 42 turned into 60 because I was feeling really well until I wasn’t. I went from 8-9 hours of sleep to just 6 for three nights and perhaps it was a coincidence though I believe it was too much fasting for my body so this week I have done just TRF and my sleep is back to 8+ hours. I DO love how I feel with the rolling momentum packed TF and will continue but maybe do as you recommend and start with a slower fast of more weeks at 3/24 hour fasts.
    Thank you for the insights!!!!

This show is trying too hard to find a problem. There is no problem where you are looking IMO.

What others think about what I eat or do not eat is no one’s business. If anyone is focusing on what I am doing they need help. Maybe they should try CODA. If I’m not developing a healthy way of eating my body is the judge no one else.

Oh my goodness!! you are talking about me! This is for me, I’m so grateful. I’ve tried the group events with membership but the people in the group events I participated in who seem like Eyores, I hated that. I don’t want to be unkind to those who need that kind of outlet. But I cant sit and listen to people who whine, it’s too easy to fall into that. I want to get this done. Now I realize I’ve forgotten myWHY! But when I eat carbs my feet tingle and I’m terrified of what damage is happening. My doc says my Blg is great, because she says 7.0 is wonderful.
