Yes, as the previous comments said, another great episode. Fantastic scenery and great weather. And I recognised Roundstone in Galway immediately your camera entered the village. That brought back memories!! - many, many years ago myself and my then girlfriend (on a Yamaha 1.1) camped a few times at a fab campsite just outside Roundstone. As far as I remember it was called "Black Dog Bay" or similar. A beautiful area and Roundstone is a lovely fishing village set in an idyllic landscape. I know exactly the spot along the wall where you had your lunch!! Keep the videos coming!!!!!
It makes me so happy to hear that my videos bring back memories for people - I’m so glad you enjoyed it! Roundstone was the perfect place to stop for a break and I loved the quotes on the wall… Thank you for watching! 😊
Excellent video. We stayed week in Connemara at end of June and did that route opposite way round during the week. Roundstone village is a favourite as is O'Dowds fish restaurant and bar on main street (with little wooden trays on sea wall so you can eat out there) We did well touring around given that I now have foolishly got an EV and only one charger (Clifden) was working in whole of Connemara! Thankfully the owner of the cottage allowed me to charge a couple of times at his house because Westport and Galway chargers were a fair drive away and like Clifden was hard to get on an empty one. Looking forward to seeing more videos. BTW, big fan of your son's work (RBR) been a fan since Jordan sold out to Midland 😢
Thank you for watching! You were brave doing it in an EV but it sounds like you made it work - well done! That part of the world is so beautiful and I was particularly taken with Roundstone. I’ll pass that on to Ben - it will make him happy to hear that! He has recently been promoted to be a part of the race team so things are going to get very exciting for him now. It’ll probably mean he won’t be as available for any road-trips with his old man though! 😊
You probably know, but the squiggle on the blue sign isn't a symbol for waves or sea views, its actually W A W for Wild Athlantic Way. The big rocks and general scenery were deposited there as the ice melted at the end of the last ice age, some 10,000 years ago.
I hadn’t realised that was what the squiggle represented… now that’s been pointed out to me, it’s obvious! That makes perfect sense re the abundance or rocks etc. Thank you so much for watching 😊
I think that was the most beautiful of all your Irish rides so far. Very envious. Really want to go there.
Thank you, so glad you liked the episode; it really is a magical place. Thanks for watching! 😁
Thanks guys I am really enjoying your Irish trip !. Keep her lit.
You’re welcome Kieran, I’m glad you’re enjoying it! 😊

The High Road View point out of Cliffden is a must stop when it is sunny..👌
