10:09 I think you're correct. The Bucky-Cap arms probably don't fit well with this torso's arm sockets. I believe this is the first time they've used those arms with this body. Dreadknight, King Cobra, Black Knight, and the goblins all had the scaled arms. I too would've preferred they just reused the scaled parts in blue. The Bucky-Cap parts don't bother me too much, but it annoys me that they keep flipping the shoulders. I don't understand why they keep doing this when they know how to put them on correctly, as seen in your Retro White Vision review.

And Jason Phillips was dating Felicia Hardy and the got engaged she found his goblin equipment and he goes on a whole thing about how "Jason Phillips Macendale is nothing without crime"
The only problem I have is that he can't stand on his glider. I don't know why Hasbro didn't use the curled toe Green Goblin feet so they would hook into the glider a bit better. As it is mine can barely get his feet in the foot loops let alone stay on the glider.
It makes me so mad that they didn't at least give him the proper cape and paint his eyes accurately. This is supposed to be the Animated version, and the Animated version was based off of the Romita Jr Kingsley Hobgoblin, not the Jason demonic Hobgoblin. I do not see Animated Hobgoblin out of this dude at all. I really hope Hasbro gives us a proper Kingsley Hobgoblin sooner rather than later along with a better glider.
My gripes with him are, the orange on the body is way too yellow, the feet don't hold the glider and I'm pretty sure should be curved. I wouldn't mind the flat colours if they just reused that original mold on the legs and arms.

My waist swivel is completely stuck, eventually I’m going to take it apart and swap parts with sleepwalker and the old green goblin to make my perfect hobgoblin but I just wonder what’s making that waist swivel so hard to manipulate.
That would be cool... but I doubt Hasbro would even think of this idea, let alone do it. We do deserve a better classic Green Goblin & Hobgoblin, though. 😕
It's a disappointing figure. I'm ok with the brighter animated colours but they cheaped out on the paint apps. The boots should be the same as the other goblins so he can cling to his glider and why not use the goblin gloves? The scale armour would've been my preference even if done in the flat blue. Probably the reason the cartoon didn't have scale mail was it'd be a pain to draw. I think the Demogoblin baf just uses the Bucky Cap legs but with goblin boots and feet. It has scale male on the arms though. If they'd made a new head sculpt - more accurate to the tv show or the comic, that would've lifted this. Oh and a bigger damn glider. They could've packed in a Retro Green Goblin Glider.
What they should've done with the glider number one is make it larger help. They could have 3D printed the original toy biz glider. I'm used that since it even looks like it. Secondly, instead of putting these straps on the glider, they should have put pegs on the glider. So you know exactly where to stick the hobb. Gobbling, speak and since he has peg holes. The glider would stick to him better. Because peg holes and pegs do a much better job than strap plus it looks cartoon accurate. Also I have another question. Why is his Cape torn down the middle set? Just seems really dumb to me. In fact, what they should have done. They could have had him have a Cape. But put wires inside the cave so the Cape is possible. When you do possess, you would have the Cape. Be possible as well that way. You can have it in different ways. Also the same thing with the little. I guess you want to call it hacktail? Or whatever that is on its hat, the little thing. It looks like a beanie that should have had rubber in it too. Because that could have been posed as well. Same thing with the green goblin. You gotta start utilizing these wires for posing purposes and put them inside of material. It's actually not a bad idea. In fact, it's a very good idea. Since a lot of people are posing, these figures as opposed to play with them and one last thing about the glider number one, the eyes are supposed to be yellow or gold and number 2. They should've given us a flame effect to put on the back of the glider. That would have been even more great. Also, do they come up with a blue battle glider? The big one that the small purple glider would attach to I feel like the animated series is getting pushed aside for comic book accuracy and that is actually not a good thing, at least not to me. If it's based off the animated series, then it should look like the animated series and b from the animated series. I think that's one of the biggest problems is that they're too focused on comic books and they're way too focused on live action movies. The things have today. But if these things are supposed to be retro for us, then they need to be from the 90s. I've seen more of a legends figures that do the 90s write. So it's not impossible but again that's all I wanted to say
I don't have the first release but unfortunately I will be skipping this one unless I get him on clearance. I don't mind the look or the colors, but this figure is a downgrade in every aspect. If they gave us a new head sculpt and proper boots that fit, I'd be in but this figure is such a cheap looking re-release.
Idk man everyone keeps saying these retro figs are from the animated series but they’re all comic based figures, the animated series just took inspiration from the comics and they’re very similar, but hobgoblins been drawn like this before, the only legit animated series figure is venom because of his head sculpts and shading

This figure pissed me off The good Animated series colours. Check Animated series gilder colour. Check The bad The cape is not accurate. The boots are not accurate and small. The ugly Small glider. Lack of chain-male armour Reused head. Overall a horrible kit bash not animated and not better then last hobgoblin.

I’ve had that issue with the riders Punisher. Just had to use force and got it to swivel. Made a loud cracking noise
