I was able to take 'musician lessons' when he came to Vegas with Frankie Valli in the late 90s while he was writing the Commandments book. Also showed me a great Gruber hand-strengthening exercise that I use to this day.
this was a contraption built by someone. I remember a video with Tony Royster and Dennis Chambers where they were using it and explained it. Its actually a WHOLE rack system that is connected to the chair.

I had the privilege of watching this guy play live and up close back in 1998. In Shreveport Louisiana at the Band House in Shreve City...
still love his drumming!!
I was very blessed and got to take lessons from him in college. He is an amazing teacher and mentor. I learned a ton in a very short amount of time 🤯
Me too!!
Loving his power Heel Down !! I get down the Same.
Me too.
I learned heel up when I first started, and can't even imagine playing heel down with any power. Props to you guys who can.
Thank you, Adrian, for uploading this one. "The Funky Monk" is one of the best songs ever.

The person who composed the backing tracks, mic'd up the drums and mixed em should be found, held responsible and locked up.
I’d feel ripped off if I bought this DVD back in the day 😂
I would have been thrilled. The only other way to see this was in person then.
