  • Ben Ferencz '43, the last surviving Nuremberg prosecutor, has spent his life advocating for law, not war. In 1947, at the age of 27, Ferencz served as chief prosecutor for the United States in the Einsatzgruppen Case at the Nuremberg Tribunal, in which 22 Nazi officials, including six generals, were charged with murdering more than 1 million people. All were convicted, and 13 were sentenced to death. The International Military Tribunals at Nuremberg are widely regarded to have changed the course of history. The term “genocide” was coined during the tribunals and the concept of crimes against humanity began to emerge. In 2014, Ferencz, known for his role at Nuremberg and for his work promoting an international rule of law and the creation of an International Criminal Court, was awarded Harvard Law School’s highest honor: the Medal of Freedom. In this video, Ferencz reflects on his life's work advocating for law, not war.

I appreciate your enthusiasm, I enjoy Ben too! But, ... the constitution requires President ot the United States to be born within the borders of the U S - a "native born citizen" - and minimum age and other ... leagal restrictions ( not a felon, can vote, the 14th amendment, etc. ).

He has the heart of a lion, and is a jewel of a man. He is all that legal education can produce. He is the personification of an American with his Jewish humanity tradition, he's put in perfect action for them, and for all of us.

Treba nové knihy ktoré nikdy nemôže nebude manipulovať podľa toho ktorý štát akým jazikom rozpráva a celú štruktúru Nemecka od začiatku WW 2 až po koniec a ďalej po vojne celú štruktúru

He left us alone. Hopefully his words are taken by somebody and his legacy lives.
I wish I could live the day when big powers pay compensation because they admit wrongdoing...

Unfortunately injustice and wars will continue to. last for eternity because it is in human nature to choose power, money, and supremacy over other people. Although a great man what justice really has unrolled in 75 years almost after WWII that shows law is fair and efficient?; at least he tried dear old Benjamin
