As badly as I hate how this has turned out, I still hope that notebook tells at least some version of the truth, for their families. I also wanted to say, thank you for all your hard work in covering this case. I am a strictly streaming mama; I don't do cable or satellite and don't normally watch "mainstream news," because growing up in the early 90's, the constant state of anxiety from the news being on 24/7, filled with things I didn't need to be hearing all day every day (and probably not at all!), so I've tried to be sure my child grows up a little differently. However, I still need viable news sources, myself! And you have definitely been the person I've been tuning into. Thanks again...I know this couldn't have been an easy thing. Also, as a survivor of DV... It means a lot that you guys are going to pursue other missing persons cases (of course not all missing are DV cases, but this one, in particular, hit close to home😓). Thank you for doing good things with your platform... It's not going unnoticed! ❤️

His remains found just 45 minute walk inside the park, which parents found finally anyway. Why didn’t they go that day. Of course police won’t take the case until 48 hours for when an adult missing. I don't think it flooded from the 13th when he went in to the 14th when they got the car. I would think pretty much that the same paths would have been open both days. The flooding probably occured during the whole month not just in that 24 hr period. If they were so worried, why did they wait a couple days to report it or not even search it themselves. Brian you have been a rock throughout this whole tragedy, we all appreciate the toll this has taken on you, and your non stop diligence rain or harsh hot sun. Thank you for being Gabby’s earth angel, I know you will be blessed 10 fold and more for everything you have done and continue to do. Your name and face has become a beacon of light around the world amongst the darkness and silence around this case.

Did he say grieving? In both the interviews I saw , he said Brian was upset. And the parents reported him missing that same night and went and searched for the next 2 days.

@@BeKindToEveryKind295 yah...the 'grieving Brian'' comment by the atty Is a rumor....he did not say 'grieving' with respect to Brian(?)
My personal opinion is that Brian Laundrie was grieving and killed himself. I agree we shouldn't be saying Brian killed Gaby, because NO ONE KNOWS what happened.
But as far as his atty slipping up and saying that Brian was grieving -IMO, someone got mixed up and heard him wrong.
He said that Brian's Dad told him Brian was upset the morning he left for the Reserve, and he wished he'd done more to stop him...'visibly upset' is how Brian's father described his son's demeanor.
Later, Bertolino said, about the Laundrie's - that they are grieving over Brian's death.
(Idk...am I incorrect here? This newscaster, Brian E is reading this question that someone wrote in...about the laundries' being concerned that Brian was 'grieving' and they were worried he might hurt himself(?)
So,, Brian E is not contesting that this was said by Bertolino (i.e., 'Brian grieving'...) when reading these questions.
So, idk - I keep reading that Bertolino did not say Brian was grieving, and yet he's reading this l 'Brian grieving' question without correcting anything.

Listen to the entire interview. The lawyer did state “grieving.” Remember though, they can argue you can grieve the end of a relationship, such as a break up or deciding not to get married, to cover the mistake of using that term. I did listen to the interview and that term was used by the lawyer when referencing the parents knew their son was grieving and very upset.x

We have to remember some of the things we have heard about Brian. He was a hot head and very narcissistic. So he was probably upset throwing a fit...and just left. Not taking up for them at all! But I have dealt with a narcissistic person and you normally can't make sense of much that they do.

Brian, amazing effort here! Very pleased to hear about new series, Missing in America. We’ve needed a dedicated group of honest journalists out there working on missing persons cases- keeping these cases in the minds of the public. Would be great to also see a story on the regular folks out there bringing new light to these cases in unconventional means.

Since Brian's parents knew he was upset, they should've called the police at that point! Gabby was missing and he was a person of interest in her disappearance at that point as well.
