If the police don't have video, that's ridiculous. That means either the police didn't try to get it, or the businesses wouldn't hand it over. It's possible one of the businesses didn't have video. I've been reading reports about this case from other news outlets and in every single case where these outlets reached out to anyone related to this case (Fairfield Suites Hotel, Merry Piglets, Fort de Soto camping site) they were all instructed by the FBI not to speak to the media. I can understand that leading up to a trial, but now that BL is dead, can't they speak about it?

To think if they went down another path she could be alive today. Brian fooled them and was not in the least concerned about Gabby. If anything he was elated, laughing and joking and delighted she was under the spot light. Off he went with the cop to a comfortable bed for the night and poor Gabby left to her own resources. I know she owned the van. Fair enough . What an absolute tool her boyfriend really was. Energised by the knowledge that she was the aggressor! This whole case is crazy! Their story was verified and cleared by authorities. That is why a few media outlets interviewed the couple bc they were able to vet their story from authorities! The reason why the husband remembered Brian’s face after a day or two is bc of the fact of the fight and how uncomfortable they were that is was happening rt next to them. They both also said it seemed as if he was angry over the bill. This is so odd that no one around the Moab area wants to discuss this. Merry Piglets also gave Fbi the video footage, now they tell Brian they don’t have it anymore, it was taped over? I’m sure that’s probably not true since the Fbi probably still have it! There was also an old coworker of Brian’s interviewed. Back from NY, a landscaping company, I forget which media outlet covered it but it can be googled. The old coworker confirmed that Brian was basically a loose cannon regarding his temper! I read that Moab is not used to anything like this. Very very low crime. They seem unwilling to talk about it as well. Just like what Brian was just saying. So bizarre. What else is new though, everything about this case is wild!!

Yes that part really stood out to me too. We had all heard the opposite - that Brian was pitching a fit! Also nobody will talk or has surveillance footage in Moab, and the hotel in Salt Lake isn't talking. So Brian Entin says the last time Gabby was seen alive was at the Merry Piglets!

the surveillance systems technology needs to set a standard of storing deleted files for a minimum time that’s much longer than it is now…. If at all. I know people pay extra for storage like this, but I think a law should be made / pushed by the petito’s foundation maybe? Think of all the times you hear “ we had video but it was deleted “.

They’d need incentives to do it. I was choked by a man at my work and they made a big deal about giving me a copy of the evidence, tried to tell me I was lucky I was able to get the info since it was “ almost “ deleted since there was NO back up. I asked why. They told me we don’t want to pay for it. Sadly also - that guy who did that to me, was a cop.

His birthday was on Sept 12 I believe (doing this from memory but I have the timeline recorded in my notebook).

@@socalrenegal9409 As in most states now it is mandatory that the aggressor goes to jail... Brian had the scratches and marks, but the police decided it was a temporary mental health issue as opposed to domestic violence...that is there words on bodycam. Its also on this video.

I think that they both walked to that area, for whatever reason. And actually camped, or attempted to set up camp there. Something, again, took a turn. A massive fight and the situation got really bad for Gabby. And the coward just decided to leave, and,,,,,,,leave her there.

The Manager might be speaking the truth, as she saw it. The other customer who spoke on video said it did seem like they left without paying because they left very quickly. I'm curious how they ran up a $60 lunch bill at a Mexican restaurant....seems pricey.
@@wiffley The restaurant manager was by far the most interesting part of this report. I didn't find the other customer too credible, but now their story seems pretty accurate. Maybe they ordered, got their drinks, had a fight and left before the food came out. It would make some sense to go back in and argue not to pay the whole bill because you never received the food.
The manager even said monster Bryan were calm. Gabby went back to get the money back manager said they didn't pay😱🙄🙄🙄 witness saw everything and said Gabby crying and she went back to apologising for he's behaviour. 😱🙄🙄🙄

Great work as usual by Brian. I am hoping that Brian might speak to the Park Services folks and speak to them about not releasing the Park ranger footage. I can understand their reluctance if there was going to be a trial but now that B. Laundrie is deceased it is perhaps time to fill in the gap and provide the full picture of the van stoppage that focused the wolrd onto this tragic affair.
There's still an ongoing investigation into the traffic stop, so maybe it'll be released when that's done?.. Curious that the others were released, and not Melissa Hulls's, though... it does make one wonder?

Still in disbelief on 1) the outcome and 2) how the investigation has been handled, I do agree that Police need more training in domestic abuse, behavioural traits, etc and hope that this very tragic case raises awareness for professionals dealing with such cases in the future.

I've been reading reports about this case from other news outlets and in every single case where these outlets reached out to anyone related to this case (Fairfield Suites Hotel, Merry Piglets, Fort de Soto camping site) they were all instructed by the FBI not to speak to the media.

This whole case is crazy! Their story was verified and cleared by authorities. That is why a few media outlets interviewed the couple bc they were able to vet their story from authorities! The reason why the husband remembered Brian’s face after a day or two is bc of the fact of the fight and how uncomfortable they were that is was happening rt next to them. They both also said it seemed as if he was angry over the bill. This is so odd that no one around the Moab area wants to discuss this. Merry Piglets also gave Fbi the video footage, now they tell Brian they don’t have it anymore, it was taped over? I’m sure that’s probably not true since the Fbi probably still have it! There was also an old coworker of Brian’s interviewed. Back from NY, a landscaping company, I forget which media outlet covered it but it can be googled. The old coworker confirmed that Brian was basically a loose cannon regarding his temper! I read that Moab is not used to anything like this. Very very low crime. They seem unwilling to talk about it as well. Just like what Brian was just saying. So bizarre. What else is new though, everything about this case is wild!!

the surveillance systems technology needs to set a standard of storing deleted files for a minimum time that’s much longer than it is now…. If at all.
I know people pay extra for storage like this, but I think a law should be made / pushed by the petito’s foundation maybe? Think of all the times you hear “ we had video but it was deleted “.

I asked why. They told me we don’t want to pay for it. Sadly also - that guy who did that to me, was a cop.

I think that they both walked to that area, for whatever reason. And actually camped, or attempted to set up camp there. Something, again, took a turn. A massive fight and the situation got really bad for Gabby. And the coward just decided to leave, and,,,,,,,leave her there.

The Manager might be speaking the truth, as she saw it. The other customer who spoke on video said it did seem like they left without paying because they left very quickly. I'm curious how they ran up a $60 lunch bill at a Mexican restaurant....seems pricey.
@@wiffley The restaurant manager was by far the most interesting part of this report. I didn't find the other customer too credible, but now their story seems pretty accurate. Maybe they ordered, got their drinks, had a fight and left before the food came out. It would make some sense to go back in and argue not to pay the whole bill because you never received the food.
The manager even said monster Bryan were calm. Gabby went back to get the money back manager said they didn't pay😱🙄🙄🙄 witness saw everything and said Gabby crying and she went back to apologising for he's behaviour. 😱🙄🙄🙄

Great work as usual by Brian. I am hoping that Brian might speak to the Park Services folks and speak to them about not releasing the Park ranger footage. I can understand their reluctance if there was going to be a trial but now that B. Laundrie is deceased it is perhaps time to fill in the gap and provide the full picture of the van stoppage that focused the wolrd onto this tragic affair.
There's going to be all kinds of lawsuits I'll bet
There's still an ongoing investigation into the traffic stop, so maybe it'll be released when that's done?..

The one couple said they witnessed Brian yelling at the manager or something and Gabby going back in and apologized about Brian’s behavior, wow the manager lied ?
Or the manager was telling the truth. 15 minutes of fame and feeling important is tempting in a case like this. Many are wondering about the lady who seen Brian “yelling” and sat 2 feet away but yet didn’t know what he was saying. How is that even possible being that close? I never heard about the manager till now so it’s not like they are all over in front of cameras. It’s kinda like “here’s my story but I’ll talk only if ya ask”. It’s sad how everything turned out but many stories are injecting into this where it’s hard to believe anything sadly

I guess we really only learned 2 things about this case, the people in moab are very tight lipped, witch I didn't see coming. And the fact they tried to leave the restaurant without paying.
according to the manager they tried to leave with out paying. Other patrons that were there thay day said BL was very angry and Gabby was apologetic and crying. But the manager says BL wasn't angry, they tried to leave with out paying, paid, and then Gabby came back in to try and get their money back? The stories conflict, and the behavior the manager describes is so odd
Why didn't the Manager clarify that a month ago , if indeed the managers version is the correct one?
I mean, I get that we may have gotten an exaggerated version of the restaurant incident early on, but did the manager actually see as much as the original witnesses did? Maybe not.

I got goosebumps when Brian walked to Gabby's spot. It is so incredibly sad how her life ended. I would think Moab (thank u for pronouncing it correctly) would like the increased business.

Brian, very emotional watching you cover Gabi's last steps, great journalism, thank you. I've been watching this unfold since the MOAB police stop from the UK. Still in disbelief on 1) the outcome and 2) how the investigation has been handled, I do agree that Police need more training in domestic abuse, behavioural traits, etc and hope that this very tragic case raises awareness for professionals dealing with such cases in the future.
I think that the townspeople were told not to talk to anyone especially reporters or floggers about them.
The question would be, why? That essentially robs everyone of closer... too many unanswered questions. That restaurant manager stated "it was all a lie," n "it didn't happen that way." 😒 🤔 Then Brian wasn't aggressive. Gabby was. She went back in n demanded her money back. Let that sink in for a minute.
I don't know Esther of then but, I don't buy into some murder suicide bullshit.
This isn't over...something is simmering right under everyone's noses. That's why Brian was never even determined to be a "suspect," let alone the ONLY suspect.
