@@NEWBOTANICA Not bare minimum, I think they are doing pretty good, remember they are not promoting in korea but also in k pop channels which are popular globally, and western people mainly follow them, also they are doing interviews and shows with prominent k pop channels and media houses, so in a way, they are reaching to global audience all at once, once xg reach a sufficient base, I'm sure they would do events in west, remember xg is popular in japan already, yet they didn't do any promotion there also, they just wanna build a solid base, as more and more people come to know xg, they will further boost promotion, xg doesn't come from any popular k pop company, so they didn't get any initial fan following boost, but right now they are getting one of the best organic growth. They are utilising all sorts of k pop channels to reach a global audience, they are on weverse also which is used by k pop fans. so I think it's alright.
I grew up watching MTV during late-90s and I can truly say that XG's Left Right music video is an Y2K aesthetic done right. A tribute to the past, relatable to the present, while looking to the future. Thank you for the reaction.
What else can be said about XG. These girls are just everything. All 7 of them are so charismatic and ultra talented and they were brought together to form this supergroup called XG. If they don’t get the global recognition and airplay they deserve and don’t just absolutely explode globally it will be 100% criminal. I don’t know how anyone couldn’t cheer for these girls to be successful.

I'm class of 2001, this makes me SO nostalgic for clothes, they raided my highschool closet 😍 You're right about Japan inspiring the fashion back then. The Japan Y2K futurism fashion combined with 1970's kitsch futurism from American cinema for the sets (2001 a Space Odyssey, etc), and the camera angles from 90's hip hop music videos. (Hype Williams vibes, like you mentioned Missy, I'm feeling a little of The Rain and Scrubs) Perfect combo with different world influences playing off of each other. This was so good!

There's a word in Japanese means everybody bias: Hako Oshi(箱推し). The first song I heard of XG is Mascara and I thought I would only be a music fan. But since the Shooting Star comeback I can say that I've become an Alphaz and a Hako Oshi stans on all of the XG members. How can you not love these talented hardworking girls!! Besides, I love you two completely showing your love of XG in a reaction video😍
Shoutout to the choreographers too! Sienna Lalau (The LAB!!!!) and Kiel Tutin!?!? Respect! To be honest, I vibe much much more to "Left Right" compared to "Shooting Star" (which is also a BANGER!). I also have NO bias right now and don't know if I'll ever have one because I have mad respect for all of the members. These two releases obviously made a BIGGER impact in the global market compared to "Mascara" and "Tippy Toes". To the point where it's made moves in the US and that's key! Question remains if these US producers, top tier DJs, labels reach out to XGALX Management Team and do partnerships. Some US late night TV appearances would be great too. I love XG. They release bop after bop. The fact that so much time has passed between this comeback and Mascara, I feel like to get a full album from them will take at least a year 😭 Which I’m fine if they take their time cos everything is quality with them, not quantity.
This is a B-side MV. A. B. Side. Avex gives XG such ultra premium support that even their B-side MVs are better produced than nearly everybody's title track MVs, it's bonkers, and the group deserves it by being so mega talented from top to bottom.

The first song I heard of XG is Mascara and I thought I would only be a music fan. But since the Shooting Star comeback I can say that I've become an Alphaz and a Hako Oshi stans on all of the XG members. How can you not love these talented hardworking girls!!

Shoutout to the choreographers too! Sienna Lalau (The LAB!!!!) and Kiel Tutin!?!? Respect! To be honest, I vibe much much more to "Left Right" compared to "Shooting Star" (which is also a BANGER!). I also have NO bias right now and don't know if I'll ever have one because I have mad respect for all of the members. These two releases obviously made a BIGGER impact in the global market compared to "Mascara" and "Tippy Toes". To the point where it's made moves in the US and that's key! Question remains if these US producers, top tier DJs, labels reach out to XGALX Management Team and do partnerships. Some US late night TV appearances would be great too. It goes from there and then, it's time to take over the universe XG! Great reaction once again ladies!
