Bruh! XG is different! The focus is to be a global girl group. They are a Japanese group based in Korea- their influence and theme is late 90’s- 2000s R&B and hip-hop… They mainly sing in English, that’s something that set them aside as well ! Their ages range from 22 to 18 . The girl with a short hair - Jurin is the leader- her & the manknae-Cocona are so dope & are my biases. These girls are on a different level and are amazing. Unfortunately, XG won't commit to early 2000's r&b, clearly their favorite genre and rightful wheelhouse to work in, everybody misses that period of music, from limp bizkit to tlc, but they are being managed into the ground by a dipshit japanese dictator who keeps getting them to make songs in wildly different genres in an effort to prove they can do anything, and they literally can do anything but nobody's ever became a legendary act by trying to do everything all at once, you pick a lane and you excel in it. This song made me cry the first time I heard it, i had the same feeling I got when i first heard waterfalls or lady gaga's poker face. It's that great of a song, and they're Japanese! I wish they would come off the leash and come to America. They could become musical legends here.
