Awesome Baviaans. You guys are going to get blown away with the Swartberg Pass, it is indescribably beautiful. Take you time through and Enjoy every minute
We love to watch you exploring our country ! A Rhinos poop place is called a Midden. 😂. Uitspan is pronounced eight spun . 😊 Oudtshoorn is pronounced oats hooren. Ostrich capital of the world. My wife is part Greek so what you were making was a yiro. Flat bread rolled ,filled with lamb, salad and some yogurt or tzatziki. yum

Awesome. There is an African tale why a Rhino scatters his midden in a big circle. One day the Rhino was running through thick thorny underbush and he tore his skin with a propper Wait-a-bit thorn. He went to the Porcupine to borrow one of his quills to sow up his torn skin. After he completed the sowing job, he placed the quill between his lips to admire his work. At that moment, a baboon barked and the Rhino swallowed the quill. To this day, a Rhino will give a Porcupine a wide berth and poo in a circle on his midden, and kicking it around hoping to retrieve the quill.
@@TheLandyExpedition There is some folk that tell it a bit different. They say the Rhino fought with an Elephant and tore his skin that way. You take your pick. Thanks for showcasing our country.
Africa sure has been amazing with awesome 4x4 over landing tracks and spectacular scenery . And awesome wild life . Looking forward to seeing more of Africa threw your wonderful adventure travel videos . Thanks again for all the wonderful work you guys do to bring these beautiful adventures videos to us . You will love the swartberg pass. Try to go to “die Hell” (the hell) beautiful place and amazing history. You have to book to stay there . Difficult drive into the Hell. You can’t do it in a day.
Loving the content guys keep the mistakes coming we all learn from them . all being well should be there next May shipping our Landy out in March . thanks again Alan & Lesley
Hi guys. Due to the endangered status of rhinos, it’s become the norm not to talk about where you’ve seen them, as it’s could lead to poachers targeting them ( that’s why there’re “extinct “ in Baviaans). It’s also the reason it’s illegal to use a drone in National Parks.
I’ve some suggestions. You should buy better video camera. Cuz there’s so much juddering and shaking on video. It’s giving me eye irritation. I think you filmed it on 25p or less refresh rate. Also you can get a tripod to get nice steady still videos. You guys have really good content and work hard to film. Little bit more of investment and effort will change the quality significantly. Thanks for sharing. ❤ 🤗 from Beaverton Oregon
This is a UA-cam comment. And nothing but UA-cam comment. Had it been something other than a UA-cam comment? I would’ve told you so. I will now like and share your vid with 3 total strangers
Thanks Grahame, music is such a hard one to get right to keep everyone happy. Some people like the dimension it adds others hate it! 😬 Love feedback on our video though

Swartberg was awesome! We ended up doing it on quite a grey and rainy day though so not sure what the footage will be like.
Cheers

Understood we will certainly be more careful talking about them. Did you see our video about the poached rhino a Schotia safari park?
super👍
Thanks a lot 😀
Your content just keeps getting better and better! And the Greek things are called Gyros I believe 😊
Awesome thanks for that! And glad you think so.

Someone needs to tell that Rhino that is dropping poo in the same place each day that he/she is supposed to be extinct.
Yes.. I think the midden (Poo) was quite old
Gyros
Yes gyros! So nice
Great footage but the music spoils the video, IMHO. I click on cc and turn off the sound. Cheers. 🙉🙏🦘
