  • This Restorative Bed Yoga Class is 30 minutes long. The poses in this class are super gentle and suitable for most people. I designed this yoga sequence specifically for people with Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS), Dysautonomia and Hypermobility (hEDS), but everyone is unique. Although these yoga poses are gentle, they condition and tone the nervous system which means there's a chance they could trigger your symptoms. If this happens and your symptoms become unbearable, please listen to your body and return to a comfortable resting position until the symptoms pass. That being said, you're in a safe place here, right? You're in your bed. This is the perfect place to experiment, maybe try some new yoga poses and see how they affect your body.

    This was perfect. Having a flare up of chronic vestibular migraine so this was something I could do without getting dizzy and nauseous. Felt so good to stretch my body after lying all day in bed. Thank you as ever for finding just what I need!

    I am so happy I found you! I have full thoracic spinal fusion for severe scoliosis , 3 pectus bars for a severe excavatum, POTs all most likely caused by EDS. I have covid rn and it’s hitting me so hard and I’m just not getting better and all my POTs symptoms are worse! Anyway 😅! Just happy I found you!!

    This is amazing that i found this. I’m putting this in my yoga/workout playlist. At the moment I’m low key looking for chronic pain yoga, everything just hurts, i may just use this if I can’t find anything

    I was excited by the idea of yoga that's safe for EDS, but unfortunately, holding long poses that stretch or put pressure on my joints seems to be the worst thing I can do for hypermobility pain. Is there something I'm missing about how this is helpful for hypermobility?

      My students with EDS (including myself) tend to do better with yoga in bed because it cushions everything and prevents over stretching. On a scale of 1-10 I usually recommend going for a 2-3 stretch sensation. Gentle stretching helps to promote blood flow to the tissues and can help with pain relief which is important for us because our muscles overcompensate for our weak joints and can end up really tight and sore. Everyone is unique though, so if this doesn’t feel right to you, listen to your intuition!
