I expected kids to be even more competitive than adults, but instead they give each other fist bumps and seem to be having a great time (even when they're not winning). I simply love it
That's what competition is supposed to be. I was usually that kind of competitive with my brother, but sometimes I was a jerk when competing with others. That hasn't really changed.
To be fair, I'm pretty sure the kids get a chat before the show to try and keep spirits high and toxicity low. But maybe these kids are just angels and remarkably level headed

Even with Rose giving the trophy to a child, the height difference is still not as big as the height difference when Greg gave the trophy to Josh Widdicombe
Rose is big. With heels and hair she's almost as tall as Greg! (for real, she is almost 6' tall). But for whatever reason, proportionally Greg just looks like a scaled up human and it makes for comedy gold with Josh or Jon Richardson.
11 year old girls are often getting fairly close to their adult height already. (And she might be almost 12). They're still children but they're sometimes pretty much adult sized.

Rose Matafeo, Mike Wozniak, I cannot put to words how enjoyable I have found this series thanks to you two. You were the perfect choices as hosts, Mike's love for the children shines through, and Rose's playfulness is simply divine.
All the kids were great, but Anita remains my favorite. I hope she keeps the core of her outlook on things as she grows and the rest of her life is filled with pleasantness.

In Taskmaster, Alex Horne finds weird measurements to replace normal measurements. In Junior Taskmaster, the contestants find out that 37 Elephants = 21 Mississippis = 1 minute. Great series, can't wait for the New Year's Treat and Series 19 though.
The kids are great, congrats to each and every single one of them. So witty and full of ideas. Shame we can't get a full season with one group but I at least hope Junior Taskmaster will be renewed!

I am sure these kids all are great natural entertainers, but lets also give a hand to the producers who chose them and the editors, directors who made them shine! The perfect combination!
Wonderful! I continue to be very impressed with the way that Rose and Mike interact with and guide the children! Great contestants! The enthusiasm and team spirit reflects really well on the production team. At least, that seems clear to me as someone with 25 years of teaching experience
From a production side it seems that way too, kids are routinely treated like pets on sets, and this show really celebrated and protected them. Loved it, I wouldn't trust any other team as much.
These childrens and their parents can be so incredibly proud. The children are funny, well-behaved and smart kids. Persia wows with her knowledge about birds, Gwen seems genuinely excited for others, Jamie excels with his athleticism, Anita is sweeter than sugar and Shenaya, of course, wins it all. Junior Task Master has not been only entertainment, it was a genuine pick me up that makes we want to do better for our youths. From politics and war, over the natural sciences I'd wish these children would have nothing to worry about but sports, philosophy and art
I was so not sold on this as a series when it was announced, and have been utterly charmed by it and hoping for more. It's also making me think "Wait, do I want kids?!".
Yeah, I went from "oh no, not kids, ffs!!!! I love and trust the TM team but even they can't pull it off" to "what a wonderful bunch of young humans, I already miss them and need to see more shows with them!" - absolutely incredible. I still can't imagine wanting to have kids but now I understand at least some part of fun (although these are obviously some of the best ones).
Maybe just because of one show you still shouln't get kids, but would be fun if just because of the Junior TM ther would be a new baby-boom generation.

same (well, tied with Anita)! I actually wasn't obsessed with her after her first episode (don't get me wrong, I love them all, just wasn't the one I was MOST excited about) but the semis fully won me over onto her side.
I had the same apprehension. But the task are made for them. And Rose is great to be a Children's Taskmaster. Being positive and only throwing light punches at the worst prestation when the kid admit first they did badly. And Mike is great as Alex.
Wow, what a pleasant surprise this was. Rose and Mike make an amazing Taskmaster and assistant and do so well with all the kids. Who are the real stars of the show. Very smart, capable, funny and adorable. Loved their interactions in the show as well. Whoever did the casting for this knocked it out of the park. Really wasn't expecting to like it as much as I did. None of it feels like a cheap expansion or cash grab variation on the formula, but just a genuinely good idea. Done well.
Had such a fabulous time cheering the kids on. They are all glorious. Rose and Mike are brilliant. The team behind the camera is amazing. Well done, everyone! Eagerly anticipating a second series! ❤❤❤
Thanks again for the subtitles. These are superb. I really enjoy Taskmaster and without the subtitles it gets quite hard to understand most of the puns and jokes, specially because of the accent.
anita and mike are the real standouts. all the kids were great, and rose was a wonderful taskmaster, but god mike was just the perfect assistant and anita was so cute!!
I think they used biodegradable balloons to present the show as eco-friendly. Therefore they won't use non-biodegradable balloons for tasks. And even if they used such balloons, they won't announce it.
I want to see Anita and Maisie (episode 3) hang out and participate in something like the Recess Therapy series. They were both so kind to Mike and so polite overall.
Good lord these kids were all so frickin’ adorable. There was some fantastic casting to pick the contestants and they delivered an incredibly entertaining and wholesome series. I definitely want to see more series of this. And they need to bring back these kids in 10 years for the adult Taskmaster series.

I really enjoyed the entire series. Rose and Mike were outstanding as the Junior Taskmaster and Assistant Junior Taskmaster, and all the kids did great. I hope to see more series of the show

most kids are raised in a nicer environment now than most kids were when i was a kid. (i am gen x.) i really like seeing that, too.

I really enjoyed the entire series. Rose and Mike were outstanding as the Junior Taskmaster and Assistant Junior Taskmaster, and all the kids did great. I hope to see more series of the show
