My mom casually bought this plant like 4 days ago and we didn't know what kind of plant it was. So, I searched on Google with descriptions (dark purple and green leaves, something like that) and I found out it was a aeonium zwartkop. This is the first plant I fall in love with EVER. Now I'm obsessed with this plant and its care. Ugh, can't wait to see our beautiful black rose grew in a few months.
Level up: I really love grafting Aeonium Kiwi and Zwartkop together into one plant. The contrast you get when they're both properly sunstressed plus the contrast in leaf shape is kind of hypnotic. Also great choice if you want a nice bonsai but you don't have 20 years to wait.
look so gorgeous this plants actually mhilig din ako mg tanim sis Schwarzkopf-ibig sabihin balack head that was german words hehehe galing mo maga alaga sis ako tinamad na this lately ...lately kasi namamatay din cla kht na indoor kp might n oover din s watering or kulang sa araw
I always like your background on your video, I hope you don't mind me copy them. You're probably have so many plants in your house but I'm sure it's so beautiful.
Hi! I live in UK, what time of the year is suitable for beheading them? Also, the cut-off tops - did you plant them in the wet soil, or dry? Did you water them? Many thanks :)
Hi i also live here in UK the best time to behead any plants including Aeonium is at Springtime and Summer for best and quick result, put in dry soil first then after a week slowly water the cutting and you’ll be surprised it will root…
Refrain from watering the newly planted head until established roots started to pop out. As you may see the wound is still fresh let it callous first before planting to make sure it’s going to root. Leave in an indirect spot then slowly introduce watering it roughly after over a week at least
Lovely plants. Eve here
Ang ganda maam

@@FrenzUKPlantMom Thank you! What kind of compost would you reccomend?
@@kv1815 60% multi-purpose compost with 40% grit or perlite
Waiting for black rose?
Did you use anything on the fresh cuts? They really turned out nice. ♥️♥️
Nothing really , Exposure to the sun is the reason why it turns out almost black in colour
Super cool man labz
When head is cut off, do i need to put anything on raw fresh cut stem to protect? Or does this callous over? Thank you
It’s better to callous the part for at least a day or 2 before propagating the new stem
@FrenzUKPlantMom what about the mother plant where the head was taken from? Leave that yo callous too? X
Magtanim ay d biro
How much do you water the newly planted heads. I tried it but m8ne rotted
Refrain from watering the newly planted head until established roots started to pop out. As you may see the wound is still fresh let it callous first before planting to make sure it’s going to root. Leave in an indirect spot then slowly introduce watering it roughly after over a week at least
