We really need more realistic ww2 shooters.. Sort like operation flashpoint.. doesn't even have to be ww2 just something different than battlefield or call of duty
My Dad is a big into WW2, and while I was playing the game he was pointing out some of the details that I didn't really catch, like the trains in Chapter 1 (Nazis and trains kind of have a link) and one of the lines in Chapter 2 "I hear thunder but there's no rain." And he recalls that from a song The Prodigy made called "Thunder", which was about bombings. "I hear thunder, but there's no rain. This type of thunder breaks walls and window-panes."
I loved how particular the previous games’ art styles were, This one mission I remember going down into an abandoned facility and you would come up to this overlook with giant meat hooks hanging from the wall and floodlights pointed at a giant gate and the blood was seeping under the cracks, it was really immersive and definitely made it really tense because you knew it was about to be a rough fight
The third one was fun. I’m hyped about this one, it’s more than just talking to your friends if you’re going for the platinum. The hardest difficulty definitely going to need your full attention
Yeah, zombie army has always had a awsome customizable difficulty. Want a casual experience zombie army got you, want a hardcore experience zombie army got you there 2.
I just bought this game and it it is so much fun. A classic 3rd person arcade shooter. The combo system is a great twist, the cinematics are great, and rewarding gunplay. The story is lackluster, but why would you buy an arcade shooter for the story?
This was my backup choice since like 5 games got pushed back for another couple months. (Edit) This game is worth it, probably wouldn't suggest the season pass until we see what the extra content is gonna be.

*I'll be straight up honest with you, these zombie war games played in co-op is one of the most underrated co-op experiences you could have ever play.*
They are a solid AA experience especially if you play coop. I doubt I'd play/buy/enjoy them for solo. It's a well rounded game that is really fun to play with just 1 extra player let alone more - harder difficulties and horde mode also has decent replayability. You are bound to get 40 hrs of fun out of this ( that famous 1€/$ = 1 hr formula) Or buy a physical disc and sell it later when you had enough - with the resale it certainly won't cost you more than 20 and it is worth it.
I personally loved the first 3 the soundtrack really sets the spooky vibe and the gun play is a perfect expectation of a sniper game. You guys really should do a video on the Zombie army trilogy!

NZA 1 and 2 were spooky, campy fun but "Zombie Army Trilogy" was a disappointment in such that it felt poorly balanced for single player; weapons seemed weaker, and zombies were more numerous and tougher. More frustrating than challenging.
Ive never yet to this day played any of the sniper elite games yet love the first two nazi zombie army's (ive only just learned there is a third one.. and now a forth)
4:26: The thing about reused assets is the most important part for me, since playing the "Zombie Army Trilogy" just recently I noticed that not only did they reuse _some_ assets - most of the earlier maps were taken straight from the Sniper Elite games. They literally took the pretty open maps from some of the Sniper Elite games, redecorated them according to the new theme and barred off whole areas of those maps so you had to walk a pretty heavily scripted linear path through them. I had a couple of Déjà-vus when playing Zombie Army Trilogy. Only the later episodes used original maps. I wonder if thats the case with Zombie Army 4 too?

I really enjoyed Zombie army trilogy. It wasn't perfect but it was a blast especially with friends. The fact it feels like I'm playing an old 80s horror flick and it doesn't take itself too seriously is a nice change. I can't explain the story of the first one but as long as they cleaned the shooting and gameplay mechanics I Definitely want to get this one! Thanks for the review I forgot this came out

In order to get these you have to buy the 60$ - Version, or the season pass which contains 3 addtional levels and 9 "weapon packs" -> That would be 30 bucks extra. I'm about to finish the zombie army trilogy so I can jump on zombie army 4 soon. It's such a great time with the online co-op! It's great to see the new game offers so much more and its not just sniper based. Def buy it to play with a friend if you're considering it

I feel like this game could be amazing if it had a little tweeks to the upgrading system. More variaty with zombies per episode. Boss Battles. Pretty solid game though to talm my zombie itch.

I've been craving something like the Raid Mode in the RE: Revelations series and this looks like it will easily scratch that itch. (WWZ came close but it's got just too many bugs on my end to not be frustrating)
It's a very very guilty pleasure, you do not need to play the original trilogy at all plus this one is definitely the best one. It is literally a very very good popcorn shooter with some actual build possibilities and decent equips and set ups however......it really really is a long game ( litterly the Last level is like 10 chapters and another 3 hours after it tells you it's the "Last battle ") it's worth a buy definitely definitely but strangely it drags at the end. I'd give it 8/10

Zombie army is a majorly underated gem in my opinion. The set of games on xbox is alot of mindless violence set to the max! Zombie parts flying everywhere, and just sit back and enjoy yourself.
Although shooter games are not my favorite, I feel this game is very good to me. I cannot play Resident Evil 7 and 8 because I don't like the first person view and puzzle solving. This game gives me more fun than Resident Evil 7 and 8.

I decided to give this game a try. Due to playing a mini-game called Zombat 2 inside of Arcade Paradise. It was the wave after wave of zombies multiplayer mode which made me want to guve this a try. I was quite fond of some Warcraft 3 custom games which had zombie waves or a zombie campaign. I am not sure how to rank this game yet. I tried the multiplayer mode and got thrown into a game with two level 90s. So, I was relatively protected for the first handful of waves. I was not 100% useless, being a big Resident Evil player. Though, it was clear the difficulty for that mode was higher than I am comfortable with at this time. So, I decided to start the campaign on easy mode so I could learn the basics. The gun selection felt like a Resident Evil 4-6 type of experience. With upgrades for guns and passive skills you had to unlock. This is a good thing. Hopefully the multiplayer takes a page from an old Warcraft 3 custom game I used to play. Staying as far away from Fortnite zombies as it can. Which is easily the weakest of any zombie content I have ever played by far.
I played through the first 3, and they should have been 1 game as they are all identical, besides a new enemy type in each game. But 4 looks like an actual sequel with stuff like lightning grenades, lighting melee attacks and upgradeable weapons. Too bad it doesn't release until next year
@@wolfman5181 It can be played offline, it's got a fair amount of content, plus the horde survival mode. I'd say it's worth it at full price, definitely if it's on sale

The zombie game series have to me been pretty unapologetic straight forward action zombie shooters. It is what it is without much else that may or may not be needed, and just one of those "you either love it or hate it" games.

I decided to give this game a try. Due to playing a mini-game called Zombat 2 inside of Arcade Paradise. It was the wave after wave of zombies multiplayer mode which made me want to guve this a try. I was quite fond of some Warcraft 3 custom games which had zombie waves or a zombie campaign. I am not sure how to rank this game yet. I tried the multiplayer mode and got thrown into a game with two level 90s. So, I was relatively protected for the first handful of waves. I was not 100% useless, being a big Resident Evil player. Though, it was clear the difficulty for that mode was higher than I am comfortable with at this time. So, I decided to start the campaign on easy mode so I could learn the basics. The gun selection felt like a Resident Evil 4-6 type of experience. With upgrades for guns and passive skills you had to unlock. This is a good thing. Hopefully the multiplayer takes a page from an old Warcraft 3 custom game I used to play. Staying as far away from Fortnite zombies as it can. Which is easily the weakest of any zombie content I have ever played by far.

I got it and love the game
I played through the first 3, and they should have been 1 game as they are all identical, besides a new enemy type in each game. But 4 looks like an actual sequel with stuff like lightning grenades, lighting melee attacks and upgradeable weapons. Too bad it doesn't release until next year
Never played before, looked online and zombie army trilogy is cheap to buy do you think it's worth getting and can they be played offline?
@@wolfman5181 It can be played offline, it's got a fair amount of content, plus the horde survival mode. I'd say it's worth it at full price, definitely if it's on sale

@@TheJohnboyhunter I agree this is the most cases. But i almost baught it myself if i didnt see the angry Joe rant. Havnt been a fan of blizzard for years, but I still almost fell into the trap of buying this one. It couldn't hurt to help the few who might get burned.
The zombie game series have to me been pretty unapologetic straight forward action zombie shooters. It is what it is without much else that may or may not be needed, and just one of those "you either love it or hate it" games.

Got this yesterday and having a blast. I passed on Black Ops 4 and have been looking for a cool zombie themed game and this fills that need for me....
This is by far the most funny zombie game i ever played, cod, L4D in comparison are not so much fun and complex. Anyway this is a zombie shooter, not really a zombie game like other survival horror games or mmo

This video made me realise that if COD made a zombies only game with expanded upon gameplay and some story, like the characters in BO2 but all in one story rather than a bit of information for each level, i would eat that shit up
