A brand new fan made game/demo created on Dreams for the Ps5 is mind blowing! This game is called Sonic Overdrive, made by UA-camr Demigod Studios and his team. Sonic Overdrive captures the essence of the amazing Sonic CD intro and allows you to play as Sonic on Never Lake. There are so many specific Sonic CD intro details within Sonic Overdrive that will make any Sonic fan happy! Furthermore, there is a parkour system that complements Sonic's speed so well and really makes it feel like you are playing the actual Sonic CD intro! This parkour system is probably what Sonic Team was wanting SA1’s numbered jump pads to be.

This is what the parkour system in lost world should have been. I like the game, but it's rarely used.
Seriously I think Lost World would've been alot better if the levels were designed around the parkour system.

@@acedubb damn. If you "standards" are that "high" then you're out of luck Sonic Team has moved past it, and is now working on the open zone formula. If you want that, then put up with the Unleashed project, and just play Generations. It's perfectly fine. And if you want colors, I suggest you emulate it.
@@user-mq8mo9zi4q sonic unleashed came out in 2008. I don’t think I’m asking for much and my standard aren’t “high”. Just revert back by to the formula that WORKED. Not that hard, but they want to make all these new features that are unnecessary imo.
@@acedubb I wasn't being serious about the standards, hence the quotation marks. And also, your "not so high" standards are actually _very_ hard to reach. I find it laughable that you don't realise that companies hire and lay off thousands of employees every year. It's very hard to replicate what was done years ago, especially a decade and a half ago (SIXTEEN YEARS). This is why remasters and remakes are often so different from the original. The people who made the original are long gone.
This is the reason why the boost games have changed so much. Every game has a slightly or largely different team than the last.
So yes your standards are quite high if you expect 2 different versions of Sonic Team to make the exact same game. If they do that, they'll focus so much on living up to Unleashed's legacy, that they'll fail to make their own with their next game. And whether or not they manage to replicate it, it's not going to be good.
I mean, look at Frontiers. If you compare it's cyberspace to the open zone, you can clearly see where they let their creativity and skill shine, and where they were held back by the past. The cyberspace stages are a representation of what you would get if they actually tried to replicate Unleashed. It's a completely different game, team, engine, and direction. It simply does not work.

i said green hillS zone, from sonic 2 8-bit, which is the original version of you can do anything from sonic cd, and mecha green hill zone from sonic chaos is also a remix of green hills zone.

It's on the Dreams game creator that Playstation made a while back, just gotta get it and then look up sonic overdrive

It's available for free in dreams in the ps store in the PS5 and PS4 (although I recommend you play it in a PS5) the game is free, but I think dreams costs 20-30 dollars if I'm correct
