Wow that's really moving along, great progress guys! Handy having all those crates about.....I take it the dairy have stopped delivering to your estate now?🤣 I think you've earned your "car cannibal" badge now!
Haha they are mostly beer crates, you should of seen how much we had to drink to have enough 😄 Yeah it was a little heavy handed removing it and cutting everything we didn't need out. Great fun though, looking forward to getting back on the spanners, having a month off is killing me with boredom
Unfortunately they are the wrong offset for the kit, need to be a lot lower offset and wider to suit the kit arches. But don’t worry we have some tasty wheels planned
@TheParrottBros I have a MK2.5 which I was going to fully restore. I haven't taken it to be properly assessed yet but if it needs welding (and it does need painting) I was thinking it may be more cost effective to drop a pre prepped MK1 shell on it as I've already done the wishbones and subframe etc. Comes with the advantage of being able to use classic car insurance too and being ever so slightly closer to the being MOT and Tax exempt.
Besides lots of swearing and some sketchy propping up it’s easy 😂. Yeah all engine components, hubs etc will be refurbished. Next weeks video will cover this 🙂
Hey I’m in america can anyone help me find a driver side headlight for 2004 Audi TT? Also need left front fender and gt after market bumper. I can’t afford 1,800 for one light on Audi website any help thank you !!!

@@TheParrottBros Sounds like a dirty job drinking all that beer😂.....take it easy when you get back to it!
Nice work boys!
Thanks buddy
Belle vidéo 👌 😉
Thanking you sir
@@TheParrottBros 👍 😉
Oooh teasing with not revealing the chosen colour! Looks like it's been fun tearing that thing apart - I'd hate sorting the loom though
We are both not looking forward to that either 😂. Colour wise we have to have some things secret makes it more fun ( UA-camr rules haha )
I've heard if you paint the rocker cover red it adds at least 10bhp
At least 10, I’d say more like 15 😂
Wheels look good too, you keeping them on the kit?
Unfortunately they are the wrong offset for the kit, need to be a lot lower offset and wider to suit the kit arches. But don’t worry we have some tasty wheels planned
@@TheParrottBros looking forward to it 👍
Should have borrowed my farm jack or chain hoist
We should of, a chain hoist would of been awesome
Could you in theory just plop a MK1 shell on that chassis with no issues?
Thats an interesting thought, Id be surprised if someone hasn't already tried it

That looked too easy, where is it all going to come back to bite you 🤣
Will you be refinishing rocker covers yourself or taking them somewhere to do?
Besides lots of swearing and some sketchy propping up it’s easy 😂.
