Tip no 2 is not entirely coreect. Spell damage does not scale with primary weapon, any gem with the spell tag sacles with the damage on the gem and therefore with gem level. Weapon affixes can still help but is far less important for spell casters
I agree with this. I just started act 3 with my witch and im still using a level 4 scepter because it has good affixes and more spirit. No way i could get away with that on the warrior
I mean weapon is where you get the plus to skills so he is still right as he didn't say your weapon damage is what scales the damage just that weapons are what do it.
You still get spell stats on your weapon though. +Skills, spell damage, element damage, etc. Plus if you are using the spell the weapon gives you, higher level weapons give a higher level of the spell.
@telzen8774 that's if you get better overall stats than the one you have already. Alot of times thats not the case because its rng. I just replaced my level 4 scepter earlier and I'm level 39 on my character.
@Talkative Tri 7:18 I Used to love this on PoE1 (so naturally it crossed over to PoE2 for me) but I always wished they had a 'Holy Grail' tab in diablo 2! Great video as always my man!
I was looking to see who knew this. Now I ain't gotta say it lol. I do this with so many things like in skill tree too. Would have never seen how my stats would be affected if I lock in.
The much easier way to find support gems for a skill is to select the skill after right-clicking an uncut support gem. The potential support gems are then filtered by what is allowed for that skill gem.
I believe shift click(or alt, can't remember and I'm not at my computer) works to bring up the buy sell window in vendors who can also disenchant (Ctrl click)
I finally made it to end game. I was playing with my friends and they kept restarting so I would make another character to play with them. I finally got a monk to end game
Tip #5 - Flask recharge is not really worth it, unless you spent passives for it specifically. If you do the math, you get 1 use of flash every 40 seconds at 0.25 regen/sec (10 charges). I would recommend getting the "% Increased charges" or "% reduced charges" on flasks to get more uses from each flask - it usually translates into 3 or 4 more uses (equal to 2 - 3 minutes of charges gained during a boss fight). I don't think the length of most boss fights go beyond 2 minutes, where you would need flask uses.
if only there was a way to ctrl-click on console. I get it. POE 2 is a PC game that happens to be portable to consoles. hopefully, they can get more QoL fixes to the console UI. not having any filters at all is rough, but there is a list of problems that need to be fixed in the next year, for sure.
This isn't true anymore. GGG hired an entire team for controller optimization so we likely haven't found the button sequence to mimic certain things yet.
Hi. Many of the tips given here are with PC UI. I have not played any arpg before, and still use a controller on PC. Could you perhaps make another video similar to this but with controller UI in mind? I am somewhat lucky in that some keyboard shortcuts still work for me (Ctrl Alt LClick for new instance), but it's not the same for console users.
I have 4 days of gameplay currently. I have found the game to be too stressful and not much fun at end game. Hope they make some changes for the better.
@Talkative Tri Tip 2: So what do you do if you never get a better weapon drop or weapon base to upgrade? I can spend all my upgrade currencies (spelling?) but if the base weapon is worse than the one I got equipped - the upgraded one will still be worse in the end... My problem on ALL my characters is that in mid act 2 my dps is just too low and whatever I farm I don't get any upgrades! I don't think the "difficulty" of the game is to hard overall, a few tweaks here and there should make it perfect, but without weapondrops or weaponbases worth upgrading (+ lack of upgrade currencies early game) makes it not fun and actually impossible to level up and play the game. I'm confused why GGG doesn't want more people to actually beat at least normal act 1-3 to keep players ? 2 off my friends quit and said it isn't worth the hassle. I said they had to stick to it but now I'm the one eating crow. I tried it all, vendors, upgrade best drops I found and even saving all "good drops" for other classes and using that as I level up a new character. All get stuck in Act 2 (normal) BECAUSE ONLY STARTERLEVEL WEAPONS DROP .. Insanely frustrating to be honest. Now all PoE veterans can come with git gud, learn to play etc. But I think GGG will lose more than they win with current gamedesign, they said they wanted to appeal to a wider audience. Well GGG, Time to show that wasn't just fancy words to lure us in to the Early Access.... TL:DR If the best starter weapon is from first boss and you don't get another real upgrade (crating or not) for 20 levels or more, is that good game design??? // rant 😉
I wish PC streamers who are trying to help would label their clips as PC/Console/All platforms specific. It would save time when we console users can skip the PC specific clips.
Didn’t understand point 2. How do we level up our primary weapon? I’m a bit stuck on this. My weapon has so many stuffs installed but is a low level one. Do i redo the mods and buffs on a completely new quarterstaff with high level?
Where does the Boss’s “little red wave” that “flys over them” before an un-blockable attack appear on screen? I paused every frickin’ frame and STILL can’t see it 🤪
I would love to know this too. Not sure if it's in the footage, but he does off-handedly mention the sound effect, which I kept hearing and was wondering about.
I paid for Early Access so I could be part of the feedback loop that will decide the quality of the full release. I know the devs aren't being malicious in their nerfs and balancing. We still have time to let them know what keeps us playing and what makes us quit. We should be voicing our thoughts but I wish people were a bit nicer about it. The game's core is great. Currency/respec costs need reworking. If they want the game to be this hard, they need to make build reworks more affordable.
I wish we could get more console geared help for us new players and love the game. CRL click isn’t for us. Love the content but would love more console help if you can? 👍
@@Luke973T I played totem. It's fun, but it's so hard early game vs bosses. It took me around 10 minutes just to kill act 1 final boss. And it's not a skill issue, it's just that is a big difference in Warrior and the other classes.
Tip no 2 is not entirely coreect. Spell damage does not scale with primary weapon, any gem with the spell tag sacles with the damage on the gem and therefore with gem level. Weapon affixes can still help but is far less important for spell casters
YES! Pin this comment! Spell gems get power for levels, if you have a +2 or +3 level on a weapon, it can carry you for dozens of levels!
I agree with this. I just started act 3 with my witch and im still using a level 4 scepter because it has good affixes and more spirit. No way i could get away with that on the warrior

aha, this is the second PoE2 tip video I have seen that goes STRAIGHT into the business without an intro.
I hope this becomes a meme. Well done.
I hope this becomes a standard not a meme
New player here i started in poe1 and I'm loving poe2 and your videos help a ton
MASSIVE props for going right into the tips and no intro or speech, ty for the content!!

Alt + cilck opens the buy/sell option instead of the disenchant option, where there are both!
I was looking to see who knew this. Now I ain't gotta say it lol. I do this with so many things like in skill tree too. Would have never seen how my stats would be affected if I lock in.
8:52 You might wanna mention you can RIP any HC character with items and have those items transferred to SC.
CTRL-CLICK a vendor! Brilliant!!! 👊
So many players do not realise this for POE1 also. Game changer if you place the correct NPC near your stash.
I wish console had something similar.
you can alt+click on npc to access the other menu too (for example ctrl+click opens disenchanting then alt+click will open shop)
There is also Alt-Click for the second menu for each vendor, where Ctrl-Click is for the first.
You can also ctrl click the hooded one to quickly identify all gear in your inventory.
We need a map tab and way for trials to be stashed in our currency tab, its vital
good job on the tips brother. :D always enjoy your content
Tip just for you: 2h weapons can have two sockets.
Also darn that's a pretty nice staff you got.

This is cool! Will be trying this for sure
In this case it doesn't show all available support gems, only the "recommended" ones
thank you for all the good content, tri
This was very helpful, thanks!
If only I could actually find these spirit gems you speak of😂 Enjoying the game alot though thanks for the awesome content!

I can't see the "red wave" unblockable attack
there's a scary sound right before it

11:15 Also maybe invest in stun threshold because getting chain stunned while gangbanged is not fun. You won't be able to get any hits off.
Pro tip: play the streamers build
Damn i missed the market sale on stash tabs :(
*Asks in colorblind* What "red wave"?
Where do I ctrl+click to buy items on the market?
i didn't have my spirit gems activated until halfway thru Act 3 lol
I have 4 days of gameplay currently. I have found the game to be too stressful and not much fun at end game. Hope they make some changes for the better.
Glad he's actually posting videos to help new players
What about it controller players 😢
Will you be doing the interview with Hawg? He mentioned you cancelled it after his critical video on POE2. Seems like it would be content
I'm about to give up on my chayula monk. I'm in act 3 and barely surviving. Just respected to increase my defenses and am almost broke now 😢

Make a lore video on POE2 please! Dont worry about spoilers. If I don’t wanna have a spoiler then I wouldn’t click on a video called POE2 lore

My weapon has so many stuffs installed but is a low level one. Do i redo the mods and buffs on a completely new quarterstaff with high level?
Unfortunately yes. Weapon level is something locked onto an item, and the only way to get higher ones is to find weapons in higher level areas.
Often, buying a magic weapon of higher tier will be better than your rare weapon.
vaal 3sockete gems for a chance to upgrade to 4sockets.. cheaper than the usual.. unless you really pushing for the 5sockets for your main skill

but how do I gain more spirit?
Iam on act 3 still no support gem 2,,,,is it a bugg or what?
Alt-click on disenchanters opens their gold shop
how do you use the "ctrl-click" funcition with a controller?
It's the Y or Triangle button lol
@@justanormalguy4885 Why is it funny?
