I have been under the impression that "to make decisions' is correct and " to take decisions " may not be correct. In this video the BBC has used the phrase "to take decisions' which made me rethink the usage of the phrase.
Eastern parents and elders are more parental towards the youngers. Always looking out for them which sometimes come out as infantilizing them. Making them lose their autonomy,unintentionally.
I have a good paternalistic friend. He try to infantilize us when we need to get something and he get have an exceptional role of autonomy and he didn't say any monky ideas how ever his ideas make us stuck in perils nevertheless he works to find the solution and his solutions are so profitable 📈 🤔
Nudging can be used in public betterments. But big companies use nudge to make money. This is called dark nudge or sludge Listening to audiobooks is in my best interests. My mother does not buy products that look manky. Most of the families are paternalistic in our society. Nudges infantilize us, it's undermining our autonomy.
