The 'Sabotage' album (1975) sees the band railing against their management, that basically owned them and their songs on paper. It has many of their most savage cuts.
My sister, first of all you have picked up the one of the most mistery songs of rock music, second, take a glass of strong wine and then listen this))) Love your choice and your reactions)) amazing! listen as much you can early Black Sabbath. Thais a remedy for any pain, believe me dear!
SABOTAGE is the album to listen (I listened to, anyway) after last Saturday's 11/07/2020 United States presidential election results announcement. Megalomania REALLY removes any competition that is out there to this day. Tony's guitar tone is incendiary that's never been heard before and never to be repeated again.
5:40 Well I feel something's taking me I don't know where It's like a trip inside a separate mind The ghost of tomorrow from my favorite dream Is telling me to leave it all behind Feel it slipping away, slipping in tomorrow Got to get to happiness, want no more of sorrow - Ozzy
I would love to see your reaction to Deep Purple - Child In Time - 1970 Live. Talk about legendary! Thank you. Love what you do. Hope everyone is doing well. Peace and God bless.
On top of the latent misanthropy with which the British are naturally gifted, Sabbath boasted a bass player - and crucially lyricist - who was an actual depressive. Their entire success might just come down to an advanced form of catharsis on the part of the audience, who could get all this stuff out of their system at a concert or at home with the vinyl.
@Tyson Gillett or they were not just pretending like the others rock bands that everything is allright in the world and lets write some love songs so we get rich and have parties all time.I guess that s why punk came and kicked out the dinosaurs of 70s
Just try to sing this song, the first part is tough and it's much more subdued and it's still hard but it really kicks in on the second part of the song and the power of Ozzy's voice at this high of a range is incredible. The magical riffs, the Bass that is just pumping and so melodic and then there is the drums which are from outer space. Sabotage is without a doubt the greatest Black Sabbath album ever made but Sabbath Bloody Sabbath is a close second.
I like that response at 8:50. SUCK ME!!! It's important to remember that Sabbath was in a legal battle and that animosity shows up in this masterpiece. I think this is their longest song. I'd have to look. I'm pretty sure Ozzy hits his highest note ever in this song too.
I always thought the song was about addiction to drugs or alcohol, but I think it may be more about being a rock n' roll star altogether. I believe Bill Ward wrote this song,
I think Ozzy is talking about The Devil. "I despise how I worshipped You" he realized that although the path was fun, it wasn't right. And at the end, when he's screaming and crying, he knows God has left him behind. Maybe I'm wrong, but that's what I always got out of this song. It's kinda what I'm going through now, went down the wrong path, and now all I want is to go Home.
Keep up the good hard work honey and its gonna pay off ten times over!.. Listen to an old man that sees. No need to worry and waste time, yours is close, be patient!
The song is slowed down, I have never heard quite that way before. That must be a live set. You be surprised how I remember the words to this song. I always had trouble understanding what rockers were saying. did I tell you I used to imitate Ozzy singing? Well, I did, it was fun.
I watch all these pretenders with these "reaction" videos. Is that a new thing, because it seems like every week, there are more and more of them. Is it also necessary for them to needlessly bob their head while listening to the music? I'll stick to Lost in Vegas. I watch a few of the others, but everyone else is just piggybacking off of them.
I have listened to Black Sabbath for years, and I never felt the need to bob my head up and down like that to their music. I knew it was good, but I didn't need to fake a seizure to prove it.
@David Mason Yes, everyone is prohibited from bobbing their heads to music.... I said I think it looks stupid and particularly exaggerated in a lot of these videos. Do what you please though.
@David Mason No thanks. I've had this screen name on here since 2008 and uploaded more Black Sabbath on here then you probably know exists. And yes, if you do a simple Google search, it's pretty easy to find out what TL; DR is.
Bill Ward is one of the most underrated drummers, absolutely incredible
Gene Krupa gives us Bill Ward. Bill Ward gives us every great hard rock drummer since.
Jace Shade you are so correct. Listen to his first solo album Ward 1. He did two songs with Ozzy on that album. The entire album is flawless
@@michaelklump4566 I listen to Ward 1 more than Ozzy's stuff.
Agreed!!!
Omg yes Wards a beast absolute beast of a drummer!
That Sabbath riff is going to stay in your mind all day now. And thats a good thing. 🔥🔥🔥
It stayed in my mind and never left since 1987, when I first heard the album back then in a VINYL record format.
same
Doesn't even matter what riff you're talking about, you're right
Wow. Megalomania. Epic track .everyone should bow reverently before the masters of METAL
good on you girl for checking this gem out the entire album is criminally underrated
The 'Sabotage' album (1975) sees the band railing against their management, that basically owned them and their songs on paper. It has many of their most savage cuts.
That might explain their commercial period loading up on sales of repeat songs packaged as their greatest hits.
After Forever is a must reaction for Black Sabbath.
You can react to "Sympthom of the universe", its on the same album, I promise you, thats FIRE :)
The whole album is fire!
There are mkre reacts of it out there. I wanna see someone react to "The Writ"
Sabotage!!! My favourite Sabbath album! Good to hear it being included!
I’ve always loved this song! It is my second favorite Sabbath song just after Supernaut. I can’t believe you reacted to it. I’m so happy!!!!!
It's tale of horror and can serve as a metaphor for many different, existential struggles.
It's masterpiece
Let’s say it for what it is: Black Sabbath were the best rock band, without exception. Just the best.
This and the Writ are probably Ozzy's finest vocal performances ever imo.
Two very Special Songs. Both among their very best for sure.
Hand of Doom is also a really good performance imo.
THE BEST Sabbath album!!!
Really?
@@daryllemans9473 arguably, yes.
This album helped me through very hard and long depressions and anger
How nice, never thought someone would react to this Sabbath song! 🔥🤘🔥
This whole album had a raw intensity to it which made it my favorite from the Ozzy Era. Great tune!
St. Vitus Dance off Vol. 4
Always liked Ozzy's vocals in this one.
I’m starting to enjoy your SABBATH reactions more and more.
Very complex song gives me chills every time can’t say enuf good things about sabbath lots of hidden meanings in that song
Very dark. A descent into hell and back
This live on the past lives album is sick! Ozzy was screaming blowing out those speakers!
Black Sabbath-Warning
Not a Sabbath original but a mind bendingly great tune to rock out to

He's struggling to get away NOT from a person but a THING- addiction, psychological trouble of some severe impairing kind.

Ozzy's voice is so cool on this song.
Great Black Sabbath album - I bought Sabotage in September 1975, the month it was released in the USA. Megalomania is classic. Good choice.
5:40 Well I feel something's taking me I don't know where
It's like a trip inside a separate mind
The ghost of tomorrow from my favorite dream
Is telling me to leave it all behind
Feel it slipping away, slipping in tomorrow
Got to get to happiness, want no more of sorrow - Ozzy
This is the most beautiful and perfect things I have seen in a long time.
That riff makes me want to bang my head through a freaking wall.
I can't keep up on it but if you haven't done Into The Void please do.
I love you so much for doing this song
Have you done Planet Caravan. If not let's get it!!
I’m a sabbath head from way back could listen to them all day
I would love to see your reaction to Deep Purple - Child In Time - 1970 Live. Talk about legendary! Thank you. Love what you do. Hope everyone is doing well. Peace and God bless.
The album version is MUUUUUCH better
On top of the latent misanthropy with which the British are naturally gifted, Sabbath boasted a bass player - and crucially lyricist - who was an actual depressive. Happy Thursday my number one always beautiful queen forever ❤💗💓💕💖💞💘💌😍🌹🌟 👑
What a great way to start off the day with some Black Sabbath
Bill Ward, I heard is retiring this year, 2021, Thank you Bill Ward, the best drummer, my choice
Esa canción es el poema más obscuro que he escuchado
After all - Black Sabbath🤩

Forgot how much cowbell was in that song... well I no longer have a fever, lol.
Cowbell makes everything better......
Nice choice! Your Awesome!
This song is so good on live records.
Sounds much better LIVE. Love this song strong lyrics.
This girl is absolutely beautiful and beautifully passionate
We could cut diamonds with the riff.
Lol ....I was waitng for your reaction at 5:14...........! Incredible song ..incredible dynamics...
Fuck yeah

Hey Scribe.. You are becoming a "ROCKER" right in front of our very eyes!
Great reaction incredible voice ozzy & guitar tony iommi please listen...rock bottom - ufo
Great Sabbath song great album
I think the meaning of that song had something to do with the bands relationship with their first producer/promoter, who was robbing them blind!!!
F... Ozzy killing it at those transitions... i feeling mean haha :)
React to black sabbarh never say die pls
I always thought the song was about addiction to drugs or alcohol, but I think it may be more about being a rock n' roll star altogether. I believe Bill Ward wrote this song,
You're wrong with everything you said
Realy do love Geezers bass on this one
Ozzy Sabbath and Ozzy Osborne is the soundtrack of my life.
Love you too
Sabotage is Sabbath's big FU to their record company. The song 'The Writ' explains in more detail.
You should deffo enter one of them air drumming comps you’re killing it
I wanna you for my imaginary air metal band.
Sabbath rules, that's an ipnotic riff
Have u listened to warning by Sabbath u must listen to it
The 409 bottle strikes again.
Scribe. Please react to The Prophet's Song by Queen. This is vintage Queen pre-1980. Thank you hon. You are a very beautiful woman. Thank you

There's a live version of this on past lives album that blow's this away.
The song must be about politicians
Please react to you got me wrong by Ekoh.
React to "SIC ILL - Fantastico ft Veronica
Hej, what happened to the coolest girl? \😟/
This song is about breaking up with management that had stolen millions from the band.
The song is slowed down, I have never heard quite that way before. That must be a live set. You be surprised how I remember the words to this song. I always had trouble understanding what rockers were saying. did I tell you I used to imitate Ozzy singing? Well, I did, it was fun.

I can't pick a "best" Black Sabbath album up to the first six, but I do think Sabotage is one of the best "fueled by coke" albums ever.
And Iommi's guitar throughout the album is pure chainsaw.
To me it’s definitely Vol 4.

@@blacksabfan not something I do on a first listening either. Agree with your sentiment, although I prefer Vin and Sori to Lost in Vegas
@David Mason Yes, everyone is prohibited from bobbing their heads to music....

@David Mason TL, DR
Too bad my opinion bothered you that much to type that thesis.
