You got it right the first time. Watching you hear this song for the first time, reminded me of the first time I heard it. It counts today the same as is counted 50 years ago.
Most of the Masters Of Reality album is a Warning for people to listen to!! Another Important track off this album is "After Forever "!! Gotta pay close attention to the Lyrics!!
Love your reactions, Fun fact (ish) The guitarist Tony Iommi lost the ends of three of his fingers on his left hand in an industrial accident. Just to make it clear to us mere mortals this guy plays like we can only dream of with half a hand. Damn.
What you hear with the drums is a drum overdub, it was Bill Wards first ever overdub, according to Bill Ward himself. So what you hear is two drum tracks.
This the music of my youth, these guys, ZEP, Pink Floyd etc. They didn't protools or prologic, or anything to fly things around digital. Went onto usually 2 inch magnetic tape, different amount of tracks as it evolved. I'm guessing this is 8 but don't hold me to that. Then mixed different tracks down to an open channel, then record on the tracks you opened more.
robichj definitely! My kids and I saw Edgar in 2017 opening for Alice Cooper and Deep Purple. We were all engrossed in Edgar’s talent at his age. His voice is great! And strong! His band was super tight and he plays many instruments. Such a showman to pump people up for The Godfather of Shock Rock, Alice Cooper!
I play decent guitar, good enough bass imho (just bought a brand new Fender Squire P bass... Has J pickup too) Brand new Squier Fender semi-fat strat (humbucker at the bridge 2 singles up front), and a true Fender lower cutaway acoustic electric
If someone asked me what my favorite Black Sabbath song was it would definitely be hard to tell. But if I had to choose or I die this would be the song
Children of the Grave, Paranoid, War Pigs, Sabbath Bloody Sabbath, Iron Man are good intros to Sabbath...then dig deeper. Also try some 70-72 Deep Purple. Thumbs up!
Being a die-hard Metal Head and obsessed with horror movies, I'm 31 years old, but when I first heard this song when I was about 8, it scared the shit out of me. So, how bout that?
The guitar lick in this song that Iommi made is probably the most ripped off riff in music history. Every metal band had a Dun....dundundundun...Dun type song after this........maiden, priest, Motörhead, you name it.
You cannot listen to Sabbath even for the first time and not be influenced my mum hated them coz I would sit in my bedroom and play every album on my crap stereo but I was in heaven I had never heard anything like them.for me the greatest band of all time
....and to think ...the guitar player had only one finger on his fretting hand ! And ozzy.....didnt have a brain ... and they did all that ! Amazing ....later on they got reggie john dino ....he was very good ..used to sing for deep water
you may find it interesting the beatles hade the first heavy metal song helter skelter - and blondie - rapture - in 1981 I believe It was the first No. 1 song in the U.S. to feature rap vocals.great job as always
Helter Skelter rocks hard ...but Heavy Metal, nah. Blue Cheer first album made in 1967 crushes everything else from that time with its heaviness. But that's more heavy rock than metal. But everything must have a beginning.
1st the preliminaries. You looking sweet with the purpleness going on. Now,let me rap to you a little bit about Sabbath. Now don't take me wrong, I am very respectful to you, I'm just being real is all I can be, so, I say it like that. Now you look like you very enjoying that music, and yes, it is very enjoyable, but sweetheart I have to tell you, it is ancient. Now here is the difference. This funny get ready. You know how they say BD, before Christ, and AD, After Death, the death of Christ, well Sabbath is the same. There is AO, that is, After Ozzie. Black Sabbath with Ozzie and Black Sabbath After Ozzie. Anything before AO is ancient. Now you seem to like the guitar playing, that is Tony Iommi, I guess you can say he is the bandleader. Greatest guitarist Top 5 all time, my opinion. After Ozzie left, is the journey you will take when your ready. Lot of territory to cover with Sabbath with Iommi. And when you decide to take that journey, you going to find a lot of really good Sabbath playing. There is enough to satiate your desire of Sabbath music. Iommi had put together different famous rock singers under his banner. To give you an idea of AO music, try the album titled Iommi, you can find it on the net. Now the reason I love this album is I was totally freaked out he had a woman fronting on a song of his band and she was fantastic. Really great song dug it too much. Then there are other stars singing I am sure you will recognize their names. I found the album really different, but definitely Sabbath, and a really fun listen. I usually play the album once a month for exercise. Different bandmates, but Iommi ensures Sabbath consistency. Oh, and it was fun watching get down rocking with Sabbath. Nice work. Love the purpleness!
@Paolo G Thanks. That makes me feel good. I messed one letter in the whole message and obviously the smartest person here seeks me out to correct that mistake. Have to stay on my toes. Thanks for the lesson. I wasn't wrong about mi lady looking good though, was I ?
One of their several anti-war songs (anti-nukes in particular) like War Pigs
You got it right the first time.

I love when she says OK. Cause that's what I was thinking. It's like boom SABBATH!
Love your reactions, Fun fact (ish) The guitarist Tony Iommi lost the ends of three of his fingers on his left hand in an industrial accident.

“Killing Yourself To Live” ...the quintessential rock song!
What you hear with the drums is a drum overdub, it was Bill Wards first ever overdub, according to Bill Ward himself. So what you hear is two drum tracks.
one of black sabbath#s best songs
This is one of my favorite Sabbath songs. So good!
John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Hell is REAL. Repent of your sins and turn to God. Believe in his Son Jesus and be saved. God loves you.
UA-cam: 30 Days Touring HELL
Just typed black sabbath reaction in the search you came first great reaction this song is the best thing ever while driving "LETS GO CRAAAZAAAAAYYY"
My teenage years were spent listening to Sabbath. No one had or has such a uniqueness like them. Amazing! Thanks for the trip down memory lane
Sabbath best band ever
I'm a guitar player but the bass and drums in this band are soooooooo amazing. I might change instruments lol. Just so hard driving.
The Wizard, Into the Void, Fairies Wear Boots, Snowblind, Sabbath Bloody Sabbath, symptom of the universe just a few of many more to try out
You're gettin it... Of course I'm

I've actually been involved in that arcane process, well by the late 90's we had 32 tracks (good gear, just a bit out of date even then)
There were 128 track stuff by then, and earlyish digital, but I am amazed to this day how good this stuff sounds.
They'll fight the world until they've won
And love comes flowing through, yeah.....
Forgot how much I like this song!
How about reacting to the Edgar Winter Group - Frankenstein.

Super great song. I haven't heard it in a while. I think she will like that song.
That one guitar note that sounds like a lightning strike makes it for me.
Heck yeah Scribe !!......MORE METAL PLEASE
ready to rock with you. Diggin the intro. Love this song!
you take me back to 1980 ….to a time that will never exist again except only in memories.
great reaction to an amazing song, tnx...
Sabbath MAKES you had headbang whether you want to or not! 🤘
It was priceless when her eyes rolled back in her head. That is what BS will do to you!
that riff in the middle 🔥
Tony Iommi + Gibson SG = Wicked 5:52
Tuned in C# "low E string" IIRC
I play decent guitar, good enough bass imho (just bought a brand new Fender Squire P bass... Has J pickup too) Brand new Squier Fender semi-fat strat (humbucker at the bridge 2 singles up front), and a true Fender lower cutaway acoustic electric
Can't get the three new "baby" pic to dump our Ms. Scribe's messages. Look at my profile pic.. Or not. Peace and love and everyone stay safe folkf!
That's right girl rock on 🤘
You love that shit I'm a Sabbath addict there is no one can cure my addiiction
Off the Master Of Reality album. Heavy as fuck for 1971
If someone asked me what my favorite Black Sabbath song was it would definitely be hard to tell. But if I had to choose or I die this would be the song
Mine will be snowblind
Mine would be Heaven and Hell despite preferring Ozzy-era in general
Children of the Grave, Paranoid, War Pigs, Sabbath Bloody Sabbath, Iron Man are good intros to Sabbath...then dig deeper. Also try some 70-72 Deep Purple. Thumbs up!
At the end, subliminal sounds are heard, like low-volume music from a merry-go-round.
Sweet, you even got the proper intro version
Admit it girl those eerie sounds and words at the end creeped you out, lol
Being a die-hard Metal Head and obsessed with horror movies, I'm 31 years old, but when I first heard this song when I was about 8, it scared the shit out of me. So, how bout that?
Bill Ward was savage on this one......one of the best.
Underrated
Good job as always, you are one of my favourite "reactors" :)
The guitar lick in this song that Iommi made is probably the most ripped off riff in music history. Every metal band had a Dun....dundundundun...Dun type song after this........maiden, priest, Motörhead, you name it.
Name Motorhead's.
Song called “fast and loose”........similar cords with an extra “dun”.😂
@@Andy-kw5nw Hey I misread your post, I thought you were talking about Enbryo.
React to Snow blind
Sounds like Bill Ward had some kind of percussion dubbed in there. Sounds like some roto toms being used perhaps.
Timpanis (kettledrums)
Listen to fairies wear boots, you will love it
Sounds like Bill Ward is using timbales or maybe some high-tuned toms? Dope track.
Dynamics
Accept - Balls To The Wall
Giddy up

Fuck yaaaaaa
Tomorrow's Dream
Listen to After Forever
ORIGINAL Doom Metal..
1973!!!
Bigboy
Deep purple-april
Try BOC "godzilla" (Blue Oster Cult)
The sub-medieval guitar intro should be a warning that you're going into something martial and not at all like the blues.
....and to think ...the guitar player had only one finger on his fretting hand ! And ozzy.....didnt have a brain ...

In respect to you listen to snowblind

@@megamaniac7402 I will respectfully agree to disagree
Heavy Metal started in Birmingham England ala Sabbath .
@@philforder1702 I agree on that
Rapture is pretty awful though - a man from Mars eating cars and bars or something. There must have been a lot of drugs involved.
React to That Dont IMPRESS much by Shania Twain and only react to the music video.
