Ok a great port finish is glendronach port wood. Or garrison brothers Guadalupe. You have to meet Canadian where it is. If you meet it at a cool light whiskey then it’s there but as a bourbon it’s gonna fall short every time. #foundnorth
Hey I do enjoy Garrison Bros Guadalupe. I have had other found north with more flavor that I have enjoyed. thanks bud cheers
Winner WInner Found North Dinner- congrats you won. if you like it, your welcome. if you don't "Blame Canada". lol. cheers buddy fill out this form please forms.gle/GAExXausPFbWXi378
Hey Doc, I appreciate the honest review and feedback. There seems to be a lot of hype on Found North. I’ve yet to pull the trigger on a bottle given the price and experience with most Canadian whiskeys. Some of my favorite port finished whiskeys are Redbreast 27 year, Driftless Glen port finished, and Garrison Bros Guadalupe. #foundnorth
Hey I always want to be honest. I have a few Found North and have enjoyed some, I have not opened all of them I may have to do a blind with them. Now that Redbreast 27 year is on my bucket list to try for sure. I do really enjoy the Garrison Bros Guadalupe. thanks and cheers
I personally like the way Starlight and Sagamore do their finishes. Something about Starlight has me going back to it more often than most.
Also, just subscribed. Great content, and down to earth feel🥃
Hey thanks for watching and subbing. Really appreciate it. I need to try more starlight and sagamore. cheers
I have a few Found North bottles and the $98 store pick I have is a butterscotch bomb. Love butterscotch! I’ll be getting this bottle and will have to review it
I have a batch 005 that’s about halfway gone and so haven’t opened the Helldiver yet
I can't wait to hear your thoughts too. This one surprised me, Because I have other ones that I really enjoy. I will be looking for your review. thanks and cheers buddy
Can't wait to hear what you think of the Helldiver. cheers bud
Cheers Doc, thanks for the review as usual. I have not had the chance to have any found north yet. From the reviews I have heard I don't know that it is anything I will ever search out. Thats why I watch your channel so I can figure out what is good and what is not. #foundnorth
Hey thanks for trusting me. Now I have a few Found North and have enjoyed them. i was super excited about this one, just did not hit my palate that day. I will let it open up and will try again. cheers
I sure like the look of the #foundnorth bottles, but 170 is a really high price. Never had any port finished whiskeys myself, some out there sound pretty good, I've been on the lookout for a bottle of Isaac Bowman Port Finish since it was recommended to me. Cheers! 🥃
Yea $170is pricey. I agree. I have heard good things about the Isaac Bowman port finish. It is in my area if you need me to help get you one. cheers
I don’t think I have had many port finishes. Red Breast 12 finished in Tawny Port is pretty good. Appreciate the review. I have liked everything I have tried of Found Notth. #foundnorth
I have a few other Found North I have really enjoyed. I was super excited about this one but surprised. I need to try more Red Breast so may add that one to my list. cheers
The only port finished whisky that I have is Lot 40 cask strength( $100 CDN). I am on the hunt for Milam & Greene's port finished rye. Indiana rye aged in Texas and finished in ruby port barrels($50 USD). #FOUNDNORTH
Hey bud I have not had any Lot 40. I will also look out for that Milam & Green port finished rye for you. I see plenty of Milam & Greene here. I do enjoy the few bottles of theirs I have tried.
Hey a Canadian winning a Canadian whiskey. How cool. congrats. cheers Please fill out this form. forms.gle/GAExXausPFbWXi378
Why fear missing out? I sensed that! It seems to happen with different reviewers. Moderation! I don't think this expression is worth the price. Cheers.
I have had previous Found North that I did enjoy. This one is a good pour but you said it perfect, expression not worth the price. cheers
@@OldFashionedWays Definitely not worth the price! Hey the hunt is fun! For me it's scotch! Cheers! And delicious Rye!!
hey you just won some Canadian Whiskey. Congrats. You are always a winner in my book. Cheers Please fill out this form. forms.gle/GAExXausPFbWXi378
