Can you share how you cleaned the fuel pump filter. That is a very sensitive part and gets torned if washed. What is the workaround if that needs a replacement
You can use petrol first with a soft toothbrush to clean. Once done with Petrol, use a good throttle body cleaner which helps loosen grit and clean well. And then blow pressurized air from the OUTLET side.. It's a mesh filter not that delicate, but you need to take very good care of the mesh and motor mounting side as that comes apart easily. That needs to be stuck with araldite and has to cured for almost 24 hours.
Even i got classic 500 efi and got same rusting issues. Wanted to know your feedback after tank liner coating is it better than before and wat is the life if it.
Sir great video. Your videos are so informative and inspiring that I have started repairing and servicing my Jawa 42 and I must say that the satisfaction and experience you get after learning about your own bike which you ride in your day to day life. Also I was curious that, what sort of suspension you have fitted in your Hness Cb350 as it seems yellow in color in comparison to stock front suspension. Appreciate your work Sir. Please keep making videos on DIY.

Sorry buddy.. was tied up earlier. Yes this motor is for the BS3 model. It's a direct fit. Soon coming with another video on the same. Have a TB500 case to deal with having similar motor problem.
Hi sir this is Srikar I’m having classic 500 cc when ever I start the bike after 5minutes there’s a smoke coming near o2 sensor and I changed it but still it is same please help me out this I’m in usa it’s difficult to find a mechanic here for royal enfield.
Yes buddy it's absolutely safe...we did the same thing and then one shot wash using caustic soda with water to neutralize the acid. Blow dry with hot air and then the resin treatment..just pour a thick but viscous enough that it can spread to all areas of the tank. Take care of fuel lid and other threading/openings, if any, in the tank.
respected sir mere local mechanic ne jo throttle body k uppar choke wala L band nut hota hai jo k plastic ka hai jo throttle body ke uppar tight kiya jata hai choke wire lagane ke liya woh tod diya hai ab uski choke kam nahi karti kya woh L shape bend wala nut ya sari ki sari choke assemble mil jayegi kya aap provide karva sakte hai main advance main pay kar sakta hoon plz told me about this thank you sir
Thats not oxidation buddy, this is Chrome model and hence every monsoon I apply Anti Rust Oil which keeps rust away. The same thing we used for our bicycle when we were kids 😁
@@RajkaGaragebrother I also own a 2015 chrome/Black classic 500, apart from the parts you gave coated oxidisation is clearly visible on engine and other metal parts , throttle cable outer springs, nut bolts etc. This is a common problem with vehicles in Mumbai.
Sir,
Your posts are always much awaited
Thanks buddy 😊
Great insight..watching such a nice video after a long time
Thanks buddy 😊
Thanks Raj, i am facing the same issue in my RE Classic 500. i will have my mechanic get the fuel injector checked to ensure theres no more backfires.

How is ur experience after painting the tank from inside. Rust has come back??
With this solution I am sure this will last for minimum 5-7 years.. The bike is running absolutely fine since this has been done.
@@RajkaGarage thanks for the update I had a word with that person and I will be going to take fuel tank this weekend
Are you from Thane?

Thank you so much for these words of appreciation buddy 😊.
I have just put a golden wrap on the top of the fork pipes. Gives it a USD fork type look.😅
@@RajkaGarage Oh I see. It seems cool. Whenever in future I upgrade to Hness Cb 350 will put that as well. Keep up the good work sir.
Thanks buddy 😊
Hi Sir, how long has the epoxy lasted inside the tank? Is it holding up against the fuel?
Very informative and great help thanks
I changed the bend pipe and o2 sensor and still it is there and I checked the timing gear shift too.
Hi- mm
Hi Raj, where can i get the local/desi fuel pump u mentioned for INR1600 from? And does fitting it require some modifications? Thanks!

Raj bhai ,Is acid clean safe for tank.- 2% dilute acid water overnight in tank, and then resin coat?

I guess rusts are not attract by magnet..
It does get attracted...coz end of the day rust is just the deteriorated iron.
@@RajkaGarage rusts are Oxidized, and not attract by the magnet
I Did this after trying. You can try it yourself.
The whole bike is oxidised. Such a bad condition, I guess it's because of salt in the air as Mumbai being a coastal region

@harmindersembi yes every 2 years engine buffing is must. It gets bad during monsoon.
Good info brother. I am facing the same problem with TB 500CC. Will try this method. Please share your number if you can.
