The sunrise depends on the time of the year, but it will be very early. How many days will you be there? Enjoy!

I think you have to go at sunrise and accordingly to google sunrise is at 06:43 at the 3rd of November. I think if you will be in the center at 6.15 you will be fine (some people get up just to see sunrise so 30 min before that it should give nice colors in the sky and not so busy yet)

2nd week of August but nobody seems to care about sunrise. Everybody is sleeping

I went in August, but this is a sunrise... not so many people want to wake up at 6 to enjoy this ;)
I think travellers are very aware of pick pockets even in Athens
