when i was around 13-14, i was mates with my karate colleagues who were all 17-19. back then (i am currently in my twenties), i used to think i was cool for having older friends and would get a bit upset finding out they’d hang out without me. but looking back at it now, they were literally treating me as a “little sister”, they gave me advice and were gentle with me knowing i needed that guidance without exchanging phone numbers or going round each other’s houses. they invited me to have fun at a waterpark (aka child-safe space) as a nice treat but nothing else, kept actual hangouts (pubs, cinema, etc) between them. i appreciate them a lot for making me feel included and taken care of as well as respecting the difference in our ages. wish actual adults understood that :/

Dad friends are the best kind of friends. I went to college at 18, so most of the kids in my class were 16. Even with such a little age gap I felt like I was babysitting. It’s been said in many comment sections by now, but Trisha was the most composed we’ve ever seen her be on camera. She didn’t curse out the camera, she wasn’t on the floor crying, or even speaking at a mile a minute. She thought about what she wanted to say next, something her old self would’ve never done. I can’t forgive her misdeeds in the past, but I can recognize some level of growth in recent years since she had her daughter, that SHE of all people was this composed.
The baby was THE best thing to happen to Trisha. Trisha has so much love to give and she was just giving it to anyone. Being able to focus on Malibu and love her has brought out a finally tolerable Trisha. Doesn’t erase a lot of the stuff she’s done, but it’s helped calm her immensely.

It's so weird seeing Trisha being so normal and level-headed. Normally she's quite irritating but man you got to feel for her here.

When i transfered colleges, i met some Unus Annus fans at a housing mixer and we became chummy and hung out in each others dorms and stuff. They were all 18 and i was 26 so all adults here and i STILL DIDNT FORCE CREEPY TOPICS like colleen. And even if they brought it up, id shrug em off bc to me, those were just kids. 8 year gap and my brain was like "actual babies. Be dad friend and keep babies safe."

@breazy832 it was a jumping off point, and I quietly left the group after 4 days bc there was nothing else in common bc they were kids. They compared me to philza (they explained to me hes a dad friend to some mc players), so that's where it ended. I fully recognized something not quite right with the dynamic and quickly made friends with other students in their mid-20s, like me. One of which was also autistic and also liked unus annus. So uh, what's the word here... oh, accountable. I was accountable to my actions and actually moved on from that before it got too weird. Unlike Aunt Colleen. But hey you're free to think of me as you will.
Dad friends are the best kind of friends. I went to college at 18, so most of the kids in my class were 16. Even with such a little age gap I felt like I was babysitting. I stuck with the older crowd since we shared the same priorities and we were generally a lot calmer. I couldn't imagine even broaching the subject with them. The fact that Colleen was in her 30's is shocking.

My heart breaks for Alex bc I know we don't know him personally and we only know him through a screen but he comes across as the most genuine youtuber and online personality and I love that he is going back to his roots and doing what he enjoys the most bc he deserves that. I think we can all agree that majority of the rant was directed at a certain someone and it hurts to see how much people can cause pain and hurt by just being horrible humans. Growing up since I was 13, I used to have online friends of all ages since we used to have the same interests and my relatives used to make me hang out with my younger cousins so I thought it was normal but now i'm 19 and the whole colleen Ballinger thingy made me realize how weird it was talking to people younger and older then me and I feel so horrible. It ruins the whole online friend thingy cos there are older fanpages that are genuine and just want friends, but then you got colleen ballinger who ruins it all for them.

We need to acknowledge how calm Trisha reacts to this. She has come such a long way. I’m not a fan by any means. But I do think that she’s an open and lovable person, that sometimes didn’t do what would’ve been best for her mental health. And she clearly is doing that now. And I hope her family is growing together and everything goes well for her. You can clearly see she’s in therapy, she’s doing what’s best for her family and her health. I’m feeling good seeing her so calm reacting to this. And seeing clearly who she thought was a friend now.

It’s been said in many comment sections by now, but Trisha was the most composed we’ve ever seen her be on camera. She didn’t curse out the camera, she wasn’t on the floor crying, or even speaking at a mile a minute. She thought about what she wanted to say next, something her old self would’ve never done. I can’t forgive her misdeeds in the past, but I can recognize some level of growth in recent years since she had her daughter, that SHE of all people was this composed.
The baby was THE best thing to happen to Trisha. Trisha has so much love to give and she was just giving it to anyone. Being able to focus on Malibu and love her has brought out a finally tolerable Trisha. Doesn’t erase a lot of the stuff she’s done, but it’s helped calm her immensely.

I feel like there a line between being very realistic on the internet, making people feel more understood because your open about going through the same thing, interacting with fans, making new friends through the internet Because you have a platform and desperately trying too be friends with your fans, telling them way too much, exposing people in your personal life too them especially when there main audience is very young kids. Cause the UA-camrs i watch do interact and are pretty open people compared too others which I think is okay talking about little bits of your personal life in videos, but when your making group chats and telling kids about your ex husband and affairs and sending other people’s NUDES that very very very far past that line.

3:17 I’m more than certain Trisha was talking Trevvy (used to be known as Trevor Moran). Trisha looked SO uncomfortable in that collab but she was just trying to be normal for the video, and probably so no one thought she was being stand off-ish to Trevor, because back then with how shallow everybody was no one would’ve thought twice about how the age difference could’ve made her uncomfortable, they would’ve just passed it off as her throwing shade. But I think I remember particularly in that video, Trevor had twerked on Trisha, and Trisha didn’t seem into it AT ALL, rightfully so. I’m not sure if Shane “made them” do that or if it was just Trevor being Trevor, bc back then before Trevor came out and transitioned and went by Trevvy, Trevor was a very flamboyant hyper over the top dramatic type of person. Obviously Trev was still underage at the time so it doesn’t matter if it was Trev’s idea, someone should’ve laid out the boundaries.
