My 3300psi Ryobi has been flawless and has plenty of power to handle any job i need it for! Id only get more powerful if i was using it in a business.
Great tip about laying that hose out straight!!! 👍🏻
You have a beautiful home and yard, thanks for sharing your experience with it! Your fence and stone work came out beautiful!!! Driveway will take awhile due to size but who said it has to be done in 1 day! Better yet, call the grandson!
Nice machine. I used the attachment to clean the driveway in a few hours. ua-cam.com/video/Ne7OysBtL0w/v-deo.html
I'm used to a previous unit at 4200 psi ... but, the compactness of this unit is nice when storage space is limited in my HOA home. And, it's much lighter than the previous as well, easy for one person to lift if transporting. Had this unit for 1 week now, (Father's Day gift) my driveway is pretty deep and this puppy did fine as long as I did not rush the surface cleaner. If the Honda engine cranks as easily a year from now (using pure gas with no ethanol added), then I'll call this purchase a win.
I highly recommend non ethanol fuel only or camping fuel which is ultra clean white gas. Mine works great have had no problems.
Yes on ethanol free in all lawn equipment, plus stabilizer. I never tried camping fuel.
Nice property !
very nice indeed
Great video and he's yummy too! I'm subscribing!
Awesome! Thank you!
Great looking lawn! What lawn fertilizer do you use?
Lesco 15-5-10, and compost.
Handle is backwards, thanks for the video.
Thanks for the feedback. If you see the box at 7 seconds in, the handle leans forward.
Wow I just bought the 2900 2.5 ryobi and its facing the other way. But I guess you have the better one. Sorry my bad😂
Im a matience man at a gas station and we have this. I need to use it in car wash
Mine works great every time. I use it maybe twice a month.
@DrBDIY yeah I psyche myself out alot of times
Subbed
Nice job.
Thanks!
I have 1 I haven’t used yet does it do hot water?

Great video. Thank you. Do you know if the gas version is more powerful and convenient than the electric one, even if rated at the same 3300 psi? Reason I ask is i have the electric one and it doesn't seem as powerful as I thought, plus I don't like having the extra cord.
I don't know anything about the electric pressure washer. Sorry.
What gas did you use?
In my power tools I use a non ethanol gas, usually regular.
Do you have to add oil to the gas for this model
No. In the manual, the oil is filled at cap B and the fuel is filled at cap L. See this manual on page ii :

mine makes a popping noise , like a gunshot , what is that
Loud popping noises might be a backfire. Backfire happens when there is too much air in the combustion process. If the unit is new, call the manufacturer. One cause of backfires is gasoline with too much ethanol. Try to use an ethanol free gasoline in your yard equipment.
@@DrBDIYprobably just an incorrectly set carburetor fuel/air ratio screw. Could be caused by a rich mixture too
What kind of gas it use????
Use unleaded gasoline up to 10% ethanol. Premix fuel stabilizer in fuel can, then add to pressure washer. I use non ethanol gasoline.
What happens if you didn’t turn the switch off before putting oil?
I think it's a safety blurb I read when adding gas or oil. I suppose someone could accidentally pull the cord when the gas or oil screw tops were open and the liquids would shoot out.
Alrighty I was asking because I was going through the steps while watching the video and I accidentally missed the part where you said to make sure switch was off
@@theboii2322 Yeah, I think it was a caution statement on the yellow fold-out sheet.... can't recall.
@@DrBDIY thank you for your quick response! And the video was real helpful!
I followed all steps and it will not start any reason why but on manual it said all but 2 of the 14 oz container and my container was only 12 oz so I put it all in would that be why
Why did you wear a mask while using this?
There are a lot of dry particulates on the surfaces we clean. Pollen, dust, grass clippings, etc. I wear a mask to keep from inhaling as much, especially during allergy season. The pressure washer will blow some of that around just in front of the moisture .
@@DrBDIY Understood. I appreciate the reply.
But I don't understand is why are you wearing a mask outside 🤔🙄
Allergies were bad.
