+ferdinando vegni As far as I know, the music was composed long before Adalgiso Ferraris was born. He was not the composer, but one of many arrangers of this melody.
Thanks . The base melody theme may be an old Russian tune, but not the complete score, that is a 1920s success of Ferraris, reprised also in song version by Al Bowlly or Chaliapin , who both recorded it on Ferraris music in London in that period.
