Thank you for showing the whole process. So many UA-camrs think the videos have to be less than 15 minutes long. I would way rather get all the info I can no matter how long it takes. Thank you for doing that!
People saying you're out of your mind? Really? A young lad building his second quality new build rental.
As you say it's best to learn from your mistakes, it's hard to learn from others making mistakes.
Fast forward 10 years and you're going to be in a great place.
Good luck from
Nottingham, U.K.
I sent this video to a close friend because his brother had a house fire and they were trying to decide whether to just get another home or rebuild… with all of the details you gave- especially the pricing including labor costs … it’s so informative and I’m sure it will help so many people whether they’re trying to navigate building or rebuilding. Thanks for the content
Better and more informative than any HGTV show. I appreciate your honesty and realness throughout the process. Very much appreciated!
Bro the motivation in this vid 🙌🏼💪💪💪 also I love the bond you have with the frame boss and the respect he has for you being honest 👏🇲🇽🇲🇽🇲🇽
Bra you motivation. Fr fr my guy. Plan on moving out Cali that way and had to switch my mindset. Been trucking and done a few flips out here but man keep doing what you DO bra! Salute!
On the underground plumbing issue of the broken pipe.. never put a band coupling underground... All you needed was a pvc slip coupling
you can use a shielded coupling
I thought this was odd as well and I don’t know anything about plumbing- I’ve never seen those bands around any plumbing and I’ve lived in some crazy houses
Been watching since day one. Definitely going to buy the course and the shirt. I’m 28 and bought an acre of land last year. Been doing research on the most efficient way to develop since. Your videos helped a lot and inspired me to keep pushing. Thank you 🤟🏾💯
Can you go through the process of dealing with the banks with all this. I heard it’s a nightmare making draws, and all that.
@@garytootall1884 I'm in the process of building now and we have a construction account. The bank draws aren't a nightmare at all. I just email the bank and let them know I approve of the draw once the invoices come in. I will say though, we are paying cash for our house so there is probably a few hoops i get to avoid by doing that but i can't imagine it would be much more difficult with a construction loan.
Would love to see you do a multifamily unit. So inspiring! Thank you for this content.
Yea that’s an awesome idea
Thank you for sharing n showing your journey n progression to all. It's very helpful to see it is possible
I'm a retired designer
and builder of new homes for families
and townhouses for investors.
Turnkey contracts finished for occupancy
in six months
Never missed a closing in over 20 years this shi.. wears you out!
Try and keep balance in your life is my advice
To you Case your content is awesome!
One more thing to keep in mind!
Always remember
Finish grade for your garage floor needs to be atleast one foot above your street grade so water runs away from your home towards the street this is a very important principle to always be aware of beforehand.
You're personality passion is contagious.
Perfection...start to finish. So far the best video I've seen on UA-cam. Well done buddy,so young, and that smart? Texas has a real diamond. We need more of your projects,it's funn, informative and also useful for everybody.
So informational and solid. would have liked to see more on electrical, hvac, and plumbing, but overall this was awesome. thanks bro for the information and having the courage to get these builds done so quick and so young. keep crushing
I love videos like this very detailed, Your merch looks like quality just like the property 🔥
ur a legend, i dont care about construction or anything like this but i watched the whole 2 hour video, amazing work.
You did a good job with solving the unexpected problems, that what makes you a good builder
Congratulations on another successful house build. It takes time to get really good at this and having taken the leap is quite admirable!
That was incredible thank you so much!
KILLED IT KEEP GOING!!
Great design great video. Congrats on achieving 60 day build 🎉💪🏼
I love what you do man. Keep it up.
swear to god these prices are just insane. I would do what you are doing Case. In Norway a home like this will set you back 5-600k in build cost alone.
Well done, mate. Keep grinding and you will be a multi millionaire in no time!
Great job Case!
This video was so informative and is what I needed. I already own a acre of land, and im getting a owner builder loan here in nc in the next 2 months. working on all bids from subs right now!
Bruv yur such an inspiration I thing I gonna passue this course about construction
Great video....looking foward to seeing you build the new family dream home!!
That's what makes a master contractor!
Fixing problems
and avoiding problem issues is part of the journey in the making
Of a master contractor.
nice video. I like the extra thick closet shelves.
You’re very smart bro u got two of the 3 lots next to each other and started your building process first to “your” liking and value with makes the 3rd lot owner have to follow suit after the value you already set in that space 💡💯💪🏾
Love it keep it up ❤
Amazing house, great work. Every word said is correct and meaningful
I learned more on here than I did in school in the business aspect of things. Appreciate it and good luck on your future endeavors.
He don't know Math, doubt he even graduated
Definitely an invaluable video, I am also looking to invest more into real estate. This man is definitely putting out great content. Keep it up!
Mad props to you!!!!!
Most Excellent!
Thank you!
Great to see a young lad running such an enterprising business! Great job mate
Well…I know you did a great job! I’m about to take on developing rentals and this video explained a lot. I like both rental properties. I’d live in either one.
this is crazy.. I live in a rural area in canada... I cant even fathom buying a piece of land for 27k... Cheapest piece of land on the market as we speak is like 400k
That’s wild
Thanks for posting
Great content, keep doing your thing bro, keep em’ coming.
This might be out of left field but would love for you do to a golf course build, I heard it’s relatively easy just need a bunch of sand.
A duplex would be great, especially for myself as I’m trying to do this as well
VERY RARE A BUILDER THAT ACTUALLY IS HANDS ON WITH THE BUILD ! I COMMEND YOU FOR YOUR DEDICATION TO BUILDING YOUR HOMES AS IF YOU WERE GOING TO BE LIVING IN THEM !
And you're so young
Love the videos and this is very close to where I live so I can relate in all ways. I also do insurance roofing work. 😅
Solid work!
That vapor barrier is to stop radon gas from penetrating up through the ground and becoming concentrated inside of the home along with preventing moisture.
Labor is ridiculously cheap down there... about $6,000 to frame the building....CRAZY. I got a quote 5 YEARS ago before covid to frame a 26x30 garage with 12 FT walls labor was $32,000!!! Plus material...Im in Connecticut, $4,700 to do your siding windows and doors..my house just 2 years ago I sided with vinyl 26 square and 13 windows that cost me 13,000 and i thought that was very reasonable. Labor is crazy cheap there
Now you know where mysterious LVL home would’ve been. Foyer Loft. All in looks good!
Holaa Lucas! "In your videos, I notice that you maintain an incredible calmness while building your own house. Personally, I think I would be nervous and worried about whether I am doing things correctly or not. How do you manage to maintain that calm state? Do you follow a specific order to each task or stage? Do you have advice from someone or do you rely on tools like a Gantt chart to plan? I would love to know more about your approach and process, as I have always had the desire to undertake a similar project. Congratulations on achieving what you always wanted to do!"
As someone who is completely overwhelmed from researching how to build his own house, this video was SO HELPFUL! THANKS!
This 100%
@@gospelnculture This zero percent
So you can go build a house now that you watched this video 🙄
@@trentcoleman1089 you’re right brother. It took all my pieces of construction knowledge and just sewed em together like a soft little quilt over my brain.
Last home with full room closet a must have for my Queen
Very cool build. It definitely has taught us that one unknown mistake can turn into a repair. Personally i Dont like the dark colors in the front of the house. And ceiling fans in TX help during the hot seasons.I learned a lot from this video! Otherwise everything came out great bro. Keep up the good work.
We had the Amish do our metal roof... It all costed $5000 all up in one day.
Old video but in the future if you have this problem again. You can get the pipe relined. Costs a good chunk of change but you won't have to dig anything out or cut up your concrete.
Love your videos man. Just a bit of feedback - the music interludes are like 4x as loud as the rest of the video (like at 22:27).
Have you considered building some small multifamily instead of single family to rent? Like a duplex, triplex, or quad. Thats what we are doing in NC. You'll have the same amount of equity but should be able to generate more revenue. The process would be the same. If you can build single family you can build multifamily.
I’d like to see this as well
Just came upon your Chanel and subscribed.
Where did you get the blue print for the house. I love the look and layout! Nice video
great job thank you
Great Video.
Family home!!!
How can I go by getting a copy or buying the blueprint of the landscape? it is amazing and I would like to start building 3 of those with different colors you is amazing keep up the good work
Dope Content! Could you share who did your handrails?
I’d like to see a 2-4 unit built next along with all costs outlined.
Man i love how you share the knowledge. I will definitely be buying your course as long as it’s cost effective 😅 but if you can have a list of all the forms we need for each type of permit and what permits we need, and a list of descriptive steps in order for the house build then it’s worth it 💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽
inspirational
Good Video, Cali has crazy prices compared to Texas. I need to move. lol
I think those doors in the jack and jill bathroom should be changed to a traditional
Great job. It’s not an easy task. 👍
those audacity shirts with escape th matrix on the back are CRAZY. couldnt find your storefront
When there framing the house go there with a level when there not there and check all the walls for level and square
Fascinating video. That roof is fire. Concrete guy should get a glue recommandation from plumber guy. That would have saved him 4K.
Hey Case, good stuff. Thank you for providing this content! Did you work under a builder before taking on these projects, did you go to school for construction management? Thanks
Also I want to add, it's admirable how understanding you can be with these contractors, and you never not praise their work. You're going places man!
when they were nailing the bottom plate at 19:24 they were doing it wrong, you need to nail where the stud and bottom plate meet
Keep going
What are the pros and cons of using plastic corner bead instead of the metal type. Why did they choose the plastic one on this build? Thanks for the info.
check out hydro excavation for a alternative repair option.
Hello, I was wondering why you chose a Hardie board that you need to paint instead of vinyl that is maintenance free? Or the prepainted Hardie board that has baked on finish with UV protection?
Porcelain = same colour all the way through, so if you chip it, it’s the same colour inside. Ceramic, is glazed, so the colour only sits on top and they’re easier to chip
This guy cooked us the best way to make money in the whole process
hey man awesome build...i would like to replicate this for my own house..
liquid mask is good also self priming dries on glass and peels off
Build a duplex or triplex 👌🏼 and talk about how to get funding for the projects
how do you find the subs? most of them seem to have 4/5 guys crew and work really cheap.
Hey man. Merch site still up?
I’m very interested in trying a build of my own. I have no experience whatsoever. Can you explain to me how you go about getting the different contractors to do the work?
Knowingly building in a flood plain is insane. That salesman can sell anything.
1:14:35 Insulation guy almost damaged the water line! lol
Hi Case, you only build in TX, or you can do in other states?
Love the Mexico snap back! What i love even more is to see my people out there working hard 🔥
i need to buy coil machines to make own roofs and gutters on site
Just so we can be clear. With cuts we can make believe 60 days. If the events accord as shown this is a 190 build at best. Example paint does not take 3 days lol
You are my hero dude. Keep crushing it...!!!
Quick question: How long do the permits take to be approved?
go for a 4plex or 6plex I would like to see the process in commercial real estate .
The cmaera man he got is elite ...trust me on this
Call them out on that shoddy shit man. love it, Hands on is the way to go. You should have your own show. call it My Big Ass House Build.
1:56:30 Wow who pays to clean that tub? What will you do different on your next build? I imagine covering the tubs before tile.
Hi Lucas, did you have to get general contractor license to be able to begin with ? Can you please share. Thanks
Let's built 500-1000 social housing with tunnel formwork.
I am architect and worked many years in algeria for mass social housing
this is my dream man, unfortunately I live in Canada, and even being over an hour drive away from any city, a plot of land the same size as this would be bare minimum $500k. Not to mention about $150k in just municipal fees for permits etc.
How much is it for these units do they come with bathrooms and kitchen
