“Success does not care about the validity of your excuses”. That stuck with me. There is always something that will come up, and not knowing how to pivot and stay on track no matter the circumstance will keep you in the same loophole that we desperately try to get out of. Even watching videos like this will trick you into thinking that you are doing something, but with no action it means nothing. It’s great to watch when you’re in a rut and need some motivation, but consuming more than doing because it makes you feel good is fake action. Consume when you need to, but be aware of how much you do.
1. Slowly increasing your input overtime: become more and more discipline, dopamine detox 2. Visualize yourself in an ideal state: you can feel the barrier between you and the bad habit 3. Moving in the internal: who you are as a person, visualize it as yourself right now. Use that person traits, personality as your own => Identity modeling process. 4. Affirmations power: we don't actually want to change our habits, instead we change ourself and our habits change as a result of that => Embody the person you want to become
As a woman(because I see this is male dominated), I watched this till the end at 5am. Completed the document and let me hit you up again by next year and let you know how this video changed my life.
Male dominated? You’re a woman I assume you’re dominated in bed by a man jk. Dominated really isn’t the proper word. I’m addicted to porn. Are males victims of porn, or is the male addiction to pornography ratio “domination” I’m sorry what you said is stupid. Change that mindset of you’re please. Me having sex with my wife because I’m male and I have stick in my legs isn’t me dominating. We’re both dominating in fact but respective ways of the female hole and male stick. You see? Nobody’s dominating anyone. If you’re thinking of domination mabey you have some sort of kink idk . Anyways yolo. I’ll prove my life I better morally. Bye be back in 1 year inc2025 said no one ever.
Not meant as any hate or whatsoever on this guy, really liked his video. Nevertheless, having struggled with discipline for a looong time and now being more disciplined than ever, here is my take on it. Consistency will become possible when you let your identity out of the equation. A lot of artists, big speakers or famous people that we now know had low self-image, low self-esteem - such as MLK and Churchill. However, what they did have in common was this. A clear vision of where they wanted to go and the values and aspirations to go with it. A creative urge that was not an ideal to compensate for their identity, but because they genuinely wanted to see their creation into being. The more you make things about "you", your identity and how you feel in the process, the more of an oscillating pattern you will experience. Funny enough, exactly the opposite of what the self-help industry tells you: think the right things, and you will do the right actions - again: making it all about you. Whenever you put the focus on whatever it is that you want to create instead of yourself, you'll feel this chronic pressure of "having" to perform, fade away. Ironically, making you more productive in the long term. And if you don't want to do something, but it supports a goal that you want to achieve, just see that for what it is. It sucks, but that's okay because it supports a bigger goal. And over time, things will start to suck less. You'll start change to your identity because now, you have actually accumulated proof of actually keeping promises to yourself. Hope this helped for anyone who reads this.
Most of what stops me from acting is uncertainty. What if it doesn't work? What if it does work but then i don't like the outcome? What if i don't know what i want? What if i know what i want but it isn't possible to achieve? What if i know what i want and it is possible to achieve but i end up failing to achieve it anyway? I don't know. I guess i'm one of those people that have nothing to think about except thoughts.

@@dunamikos @dunamikos Getting too lost in your mind will set you up for failure, I get it because I struggle with this too. It's hard to do and it sounds counter-intuitive, but sometimes you just have to act and then think later. Find something you're drawn to, and think you have either a natural talent or passion for, and then just do whatever you can to pursue it. But first you have to pick your aim; you have to define what it is you really hope to achieve. You can't aim for something that you never define.

Your "him" substitution method reminds me of my high school days. I attended a high-achieving high school, but I felt lost there. While I didn’t smoke weed, I did smoke a lot of cigarettes and also deeply immersed in League of Legends... I always wanted to improve myself, but just as this video mentions, I realized that change doesn’t happen overnight. After that failure, I came to understand something: it’s not just about wanting to change, but about consciously acting on that desire. When I consciously controlled my unconscious habits, that’s when the transformation of my unconscious truly began. This control came with some initial discomfort, but as my unconscious began to change, it gradually became less painful. By my final year, I reached what this video describes as the "fulfilled stage," and those were probably the happiest days of my life. After entering college, I found myself indulging in fleeting pleasures again, but this video brought back those memories for me. Thank you for reminding me of those times.

i have such a big goal but so little motivation to achieve it. i have been trying to reach this goal for 3-4 years now and i only feel more and more miserable knowing another day/ month/ year passed and i am still in the place where i started. however, i won't let that happen this year, i will force myself to work hard and just get the job done. ty for ur words and for this video, i'll come back in year and update his comment, hopefully with good news.
saved this to my watch later and then giggled to myself when i read the title twice, great video, my takeaway is that i will keep questioning if the person i'm trying to become would make the decisions i do,with that I'll finish off my chemistry homework even though i was ready to put my pen down
What hes saying stands true. I used to overthink every social interaction I had and had a overall horrible self-esteem. I started to imagine myself more confident etc. and after a while it starts to change you. I no longer care what people think of me, more confident and able to be comfortable in uncomfortable situations. If you tell yourself something for long enough, you will end up believing it
0:27 I dated two guys exactly like this when I was a teenager and I stuck around too long they ended up just being creeps that smoked all day every day didn’t care if you had an appointment or interview they blaze up making you smell and feeling embarrassed while wanting you to dedicate all your time answering them on demand while cheating on you with other girls. I love weed but what I don’t love is people making it a life style.
4:45 no this is actually great advice. Another way I thought about this a few weeks back was asking myself if I were in any show - as I am now - would I respect or “like” me as the main character? And the answer is an astounding no. The person I want to become however….that person definitely would be a decent main character to me. And if that isn’t a sign that some things need to change, then idk what is. Great video!
this is so real bro , especially for young people , no social media is not gonna come into reality , you gotta actually focus on your work, basically just physically do it.

Very good video. I've watched a lot of yt videos on the topic, and most of them miss the point. They tend to appeal to the external. I turned to reading a lot about this stuff, and I think you're completely correct: the fastest way to get there is to be there in the first place. This is a quote from a mentor/friend I had, and I did not understand it in the beginning, but now I do. For anyone that is interested, some of the books/authors that I have read and recommend are: Change your thoughts, change your life, living in the wisdom of the Tao, The power of Now, any book from Neale Donald Walsch, any book from Joe Dispenza. I am eager to explore many others, so please, guys, recommend a few. They all have their differences and we won't always agree with every thought from the authors, but one common point is: we start shaping our reality from the moment we can identify as a "self". Let's chose who that self is, and the rest will follow, in time.
Great video, I gained some nice insights from your perspective. I have on thing to say; affirmations only work if there are no underlying root causes of trauma or limiting beliefs. If you believe you are a failure or that you are not good enough, no amount of positive affirmations is going to change that, you need to look into your past and go within to find out why you believe that and change it, then affirmations can begin to help you shape a new belief system. You cant just slap a new belief system on top of a broken one and expect it to be solid, you need to dig the parasitic beliefs out and then work towards building positive ones on a solid foundation. Just my opinion though, don't have to take my word for it.

Really appreciate it, glad I could help 👊
amazing video, packed full of info and so well structured. You’re creating videos as the version of you who’s got the plaques already - embodying what you’re teaching 👏👏 it’s only a matter of time. big respect to you!
Really appreciate that Lucie! Keep going on your journey as well 🚀
Wasn’t sure at first whether this video would be worth it but it had a good clear message in the end. Great content 👍
Appreciate it, glad you enjoyed!
Love the content man, video helped get me out of a funk. Liked and subbed.
Btw kind of random but it's cool how the three windows behind you show 3 tree leaf phases
i have such a big goal but so little motivation to achieve it. i have been trying to reach this goal for 3-4 years now and i only feel more and more miserable knowing another day/ month/ year passed and i am still in the place where i started.
however, i won't let that happen this year, i will force myself to work hard and just get the job done.
ty for ur words and for this video, i'll come back in year and update his comment, hopefully with good news.
Thank you man. This video motivated me to pursue my passion of dumpster diving. Just quit school to dumpster dive full-time. 😘
You have a genuinely smart spirit- I can tell! (As someone who's 31 yrs old- I'm stoked for you to fine tune you character assets as you get older!)
Timing is crazy, i needed this
needed this cause I`m writing exams and need motivation for studying
saved this to my watch later and then giggled to myself when i read the title twice, great video, my takeaway is that i will keep questioning if the person i'm trying to become would make the decisions i do,with that I'll finish off my chemistry homework even though i was ready to put my pen down
Awesome, glad this helped ⚔️
I am such a lazy procrastinator that I saved this video to my watch later 😭😭
I have an exam in a month and I saw your video, thank you so much ❤❤❤
Thank you for making this video 🙏🏻
P.S.: The trees in the background look like heaven 💚🩵
For sure, I agree the trees are nice lol
ahh i really needed this, thank you so much its such a helping video
Glad I could help ⚔️
I am one of the 5 people who run my youtube channel. Thank you for confirming I am on the right path. It is easy to get side tracked even when you are past step 1,2 and even 3. Thank you for your information. Easy Sub!
Happy to help G
Thank you for being a positive role model for men ❤
Appreciate that 🚀
Could I be a positive role model in your life?
Fuck yeah dude! One the same journey here. Life is kicking my ass right now but we're not giving up.
I'm rooting for you, brother 💪
When you talk look at the camera so that you connect with the people more, don't look at yourself in the screen, and if you are reading a script use a software that makes your eyes seem as you are looking at the camera while you are reading the script, apart from that great video and i wsih you luck and success and more opportunities 👊🏻🔥
That coat tuff 🔥
This video relates a lot to me and I'm glad I wasn't the only one feeling ambitious but know where to start as a path wise and this video has helped me mentally

Great video. Excellent advice. Nailed it. I was a bit unsure about the video because you look so young. I’m 35 and I can humbly say this is solid advice and I will happily take it. Wish I was this focused and driven at a young age. Oh well, it’s not too late.
Bruh. This is literally perfect. Thank you!
You use a lot of highly intellectual words in a super functional way, that shows all the self development work and learning youve done in your life! As a masters degree graduate- this level of understanding and communication is rare!

Thank you man! Let’s get it ⚔️
Very good video. Let's chose who that self is, and the rest will follow, in time.
i believe you will bro !!! i believe we all will !!! really inspiring and powerful strategy keep going !!
this was the 3rd time i saw your vid on my feed and i finally decided to see this like the universe was guiding me towards that. hope it helps
I am definitely gonna start with this. Thank you so much.
7:02 so real lmfao
great stuff homie. all the best for the journey ahead
are you starting your own journey?
You are the next big channel. I just subscribed.
Thank you my guy 🚀
Imagining my future self, who I want to become and infuse with that character - I've never heard anything more amazing than that lately!! 🍀🍀
And then I saw the comment about "thinking OF who you want to become | think FROM who you want to become"... 🤔👀🍀
Aka
Manifestation
And like we attract instead of chasing ❤
Love it!
looks like from the book "atomic habits". thanks bro
