Soooo I’m picking up Spright and found your channel! First off, thank you for all the content. I wanted to mention here, there’s a world in game 1 where he special summons back both level 1s, then with priority you activate super poly which prevents him from getting both of his level 1s effects.

In terms of Super Poly, I believe the two windows I could activate them were either after Flamberge's GY effect to summon back two, or after the two Level 1s trigger their effects. I don't have priority, as Trigger Effects occur first. The order of priority is Mandatory Trigger Effects -> Optional Trigger Effects -> Others. Super Poly falls under "Others", so regardless, he'd have the option to trigger the two 1s. It might be possible that you're thinking of open game state priority :)
If Linkuriboh is reborned on the attack declaration, you get to replay your attack in which case Linkuriboh cannot activate it's effect since you're not declaring an attack but rather choosing an other monster. This is why he didn't activate it at 13:50
That match was actually crazy. I feel like spright with the right pilot could be very good
I love spright and ur duels, but tbh spright loses in like 7 out of 10 games against an experienced snake eyes player or what do u think ?
It definitely is a rough matchup. Tbh Spright is pretty outdated and power-crept, but Shifter is what is making the match-up somewhat winnable atm. Super Poly and Shifter are imo mandatory right now, but the games will be tough regardless.
@@theorangegriffin7531 why do people say that spright is power crept when elf is still banned. Full power spright is on the level of FK snake eyes maybe even slightly better depending on if frogs are legal or not. The match-up just ends up being who has the right handtraps but spright has a little higher chance of winning because the engine plays better into multiple handtraps.

As an example, I think that if we compare it to Snake-Eye decks, the Wanted engine itself generates so much value by recurring itself AND rewarding the player a free draw/level 1 fire search. On top of that, the amount of free bodies you get from Flamberge, alongside the free Link 3 body from Princess+recursion from cards like Sunlight Wolf, Oak, Ash and Poplar, and the fact that they have OTK potential make the deck far better than Spright in most instances.
Modern decks are able to combo off very little, to end on boards that are harder to out than Spright boards. I'd say that Spright is still slightly viable right now, but once the format changes to one where the meta decks lose to cards that also kill Spright, like DRNM or Droplet, we will find it difficult to win games because recurring cards will be hard.
@@theorangegriffin7531 yeah without elf it is not even a competition. I completely agree with you but I was thinking more in the direction of spright vs fk snake eyes. What I think would happen is both decks will use 12+ handtraps and spright tends to be better at playing around them due to elf recurring advantage while snake eyes needs to start their plays to have some follow-up. Maybe they have an original in grave but thats about it- after, for example, imperm on ash and maybe ash on original, while spright almost always ends on elf which brings back a spright name for follow-up on the opponents turn. And yeah the other point is always Spright board ends on omni and is a little stronger overall but doesn't have the layers in interruption like fk snake eyes and losses hard to DRNM. If the meta is not full handtrap maybe it is harder for spright but power spell spright was also really viable before. Would love to see what would people play if Elf and Ronin were unbanned today.

Glad to hear that! I'm currently working on the deck and will need more time to practise against some of the other meta contenders (Voiceless) before I'm confident in releasing a good list. My next video has a sneak peek into my current list as I search through the deck, but I'll get one out in a bit :)

In the first game why not SS ash with mannequin cat in atk mode SS a carrot, SS jet from the hand and go mosquito for 2x 3000 damage + 2000 from the mannequin on the ash in atk mode ?

Hi! So the latest list was pretty similar to what I played in this video, except instead of using Ipiria, I put in 2 EMPs to test them out. Hope this helps :)
@@theorangegriffin7531 oh haha, i copied your list but dont have iperia so instead I have capshell + 3 emp at 43 decklist, if I remember correctly.
I also keep drawing droll and shifter lol.

@@akumas77 I see; I'd say Ipiria is definitely a lot better than Capshell, but EMP at 3 feels bad. 1 is OK, 2 at max. Drawing multiple feels terrible, and going 1st, only opening EMP doesn't do enough. See if you're able to source an Ipiria :)
