How do pagans pray? || Tips and advice for pagan prayer [CC]

- Prayer has always been something that I have found difficult to talk about in community spaces. It's been my experience that a lot of pagans have this aversion to prayer, or even just the word "prayer." I want to talk about that because as pagans, we can still pray; it just might not look like what you're used to seeing. As a pagan, when you pray, nothing's really changing except the person that you're talking to, and maybe the way that you pray.

I loved this thank you 💖💖
I'm so glad, thank you!
I use to have alot of distaste for the word prayer but now with more time and reflection....I can see why many people use it as an umbrella term for other methods/ceremonies but kinda similar 🤔 I was never raised in a Christian setting so it's kinda strange for me to incorporate 😅 but I see where your trying to implement a more non monotheistic approach on Veneration, blot and or other ancient methods to connect with source. Overall I enjoyed the video 😊 thank you for sharing.
I've had a distaste for the word "prayer" before, too. Over time, I've come to communicate with my Gods in prayer much better than other methods. As far as I've read, the ancient Irish druids and people would pray, as well. I don't know if they had a specific word for this outside of ritual settings. I'm still looking into that. For now, prayer works for me 😊 Thank you for watching and listening with an open mind!
❤❤❤
Ive had a candle go out. I had 3 lit. One for lilith, one for ancestors, and one for no reason, just because I wanted there to be 3. The third one was out when I came out of my enn meditation to lilith. I dont know why it happened. I thought it was kinda cool though 😅
Candles going out is an interesting experience lol it is cool when it happens, though!
Hi
Hello 👋
Very helpful explanation, I've had a hard time putting together prayers for deities which recently include Brigid. I'm so glad to know I've just been overthinking it. ❤
I'm glad it was helpful! 💖
