I think evil Kai would be one of the best ideas. and that they do it for a full season would be great.
Let's be honest, the mailman has the most potential to be a villain. He is always following the ninja around and seems to always know exactly where they are.
I think Kai did evil the best... the others seemed either really out of control of their own minds (Lloyd) or really bored and emotionless (Zane)

I think Kai would be the best as a villain since he would have more of a motive (jealousy or some sort of lie and also just being the hot head and rushing into decisions without second thoughts) rather than being controlled by a higher power (the overlord, morro, the scrolls of forbidden spinjitzu, etc)

Kais darkness really needs some attention, he has the potential to be one of the best and in depth villains in the series. The sad thing is that a lot of the people who grew up with ninjago are now borderline adults, and ninjago is remaining a childrens TV show. The show needs to grow with its audience and give us a darker and more adult like season. The best way to do so should be with a ninja becoming evil, and I think the most likely ninja, and most wanted ninja is Kai. Kai has always had the most interesting, mysterious, and dark backstory, and its high time that it is given the attention it deserves. What better way then showing one of the strongest ninjas falling to his more dark and rage fueled tendencies. Just a thought.
Except he already moved past it. His growth in Tournament of elements, possession, and the hands of time where he became humble and a protector for his team and family.
@@willhicks7027 that is all a good point, but even if he has accepted some things and progressed past others, that dosn't nessesarly mean that he dosn't still have those emotions lingering inside. Kai still has alot of potential to show his dark side and I think we can all agree it would make for an interesting season.
@@grimreaper6366 So does Lloyd and Nya. Nya hasn’t learned humility yet or how to be a leader yet just how to be more forceful in the master of the mountain. Lloyd while possessed once and Overlord Jr has a dangerous Oni side that could do more harm than good. Meanwhile Kai my favorite Ninja has mostly been abused for the past few and a arrogant idiot instead of the hot head with a great amount of leadership skills. I understand that he has a dark side but let’s not forget Nya and Lloyd’s dark sides ethier.
@@willhicks7027 I totally agree that many of the ninja are being underused, especially Kai. This is due to the massive shadow being cast by Lloyd. It seems like the creators have made all the rest of the ninja basically comedic relief whilst putting Lloyd in the light for several seasons. I believe that showing some of the darker sides for all of the ninja would be a great storytelling device to pull ninjago out of the kids show era and into a fresh and more mature themed TV show. A longrunnign show like ninjago shouldn't be afraid to adapt and mature with its audience, and I think an evil ninja plot could really kickstart this and bring ninjago back to the amazing show we all love.

Yeah I saw it coming too considering he was holding the staff for forbidden spinjitzu when he was sent away to the Never Realm.
It was too obvious... I didn't like him as a villain, he seemed to boring and easily manipulated.
I think I would like to see one of the Ninja become evil through similar means to how Kai, Cole, and Zane were, an outside force controls them but the emotions they have are their own-so with Zane's case he was only following Vex's orders because he had no memories besides what Vex told him. For Cole he was controlled by Skales so not much of anything was his own doing there, and Kai really does show what a Ninja turned bad can do and would be cool. I'd love it if Kai became a villain and he acted like he did in season 4 when he held the Staff of Elements, because that was just pushing out his jealousy and ego and was all one his own choices to say those things he did to Lloyd. Also, if Kai becomes evil it may finally give us his pre season 8 personality back, I miss that side of Kai. Not only was he a great friend and brother but he had real deep development and wasn't constantly ragging on Jay or saying "FYYYYYYYAR!!!" every five sentences(I know he doesn't but he says it more often than he did in previous seasons). I want Ego driven Kai back!! I want Kai to give amazing speeches, I want him to show a leadership role at times, but most of all I want to see him be a brother to Nya and Lloyd again! Season 14 and 15 you'd better give us this Kai back!
Considering jay seems to be captured in the season 14 sets, he could be turned evil in a ritual. I honestly think he’d be the most dangerous. People always joke about his worth with Kai calling him expandable and doubting his skills.
Totally agree about Jay being one of the most dangerous/having the most potential. It’s not fair how the others always underestimate him, just because he might not be as brave doesn’t mean he’s not powerful. I think that Lightning could be one of the most dangerous elements, probably at least in the top three out of the main six ninja.
That’s what I was thinking too! In my mind I right away thought Jay has potential to be a actually good villain because he would send the most shock to the ninjas (no pun intended) As of right now we havnt really seen Jay as an actual villain and people say it’s because he’s a cute little cinnamon roll which I agree with, but that just makes it even better if he were to become a villain. To start off he is portrayed as less brave but I think he is one of the bravest because he’s never scared to express his emotions., sure his emotions may be panicked sometimes, but he doesn’t seem to have a reason to hold back around the ninja. Because of this He seems less of a dominate character and him giving Nya a yang instead of a yin proves it. But if he were to become a villain, since he’s always been so funny and seen as the weaker link it would have a bigger affect on the Ninja’s emotions. I believe lightning is the most powerful element besides Lloyd’s power and it makes sense LEGO creates Jay less dominate because if he wasn’t, Jay would clearly outshine the rest of the Ninja. If he becomes a villain, he could show his actual true potential and even though the ninja are all like family and best friends, he can do mental damage to Nya ( because they are yin and yang), Cole (because he is like Jay’s main best friend, & even Kai ( because Kai is the one who underestimated Jay the most and if course Nya’s pain will affect him too. I always found it funny that Kai underestimates him the most because lightening can start fire. I guess this is all up to LEGO to decide how far they will show the true potential of lightning because I believe it also relates to wind. .
Oh and I just realized Zane could also be immediately affected because since Jay’s power is lightning, which is like electricity, he can power technological things to go against the ninja and potentially could either power down Zane or hack into him making him potentially join his side, the same can be done with Pixel since she most likely will try to fix Zane so Jay would have Zane: the master of ice and the new samurai X Pixel, on his side. Maybe This is getting to far stretched when I mention that Jay’s power can be of an equal match to Lloyd. As we know Lloyd is the master of energy but lightning is also a form of energy since it’s like electricity which can give energy/power other things. I do believe in general all the ninja have unlocked potential that can be immediately be shown if they turn evil. Now to defeat Jay it would be harder for them and you can think of possibilities but I can picture either Nya trying to turn him unevil by declaring her love for him, or they can also try to bring Skylor in, but that would be too repetitive, or maybe Lloyd can realize that he’s the master of energy and try to remove the energy in Jay’s lightning. If Lloyd does this, it can further establish Lloyd is the most powerful blah blah blah. If it’s the Nya ending, it can establish her love for him because we don’t really get to see Nya always showing her love for him.

I think we need a evil jay. He was only evil for like half a episode. NOT even half! In season 2. It would be interesting to see why Jay would be evil and what he would do as a villan of a season.

Kai is thr one with the biggest potential to become a villain but also the one with biggest or second biggest potential to sacrifice himself for saving the other ninjas

We need a season of Kai as a villain, even if it’s just for the season. He’s the only ninja that hasn’t defeated a villain by himself (Boreal doesnt count) plus honestly he hasn’t really had a season dedicated only to him. Tournament of Elements I’d consider more of a team season or at best you could say it was shared between him and Zane. S7 shared with Nya and we havent had any season focused on him since. Ik most people want a Nya season, but i think a Kai-only season and preferably an evil kai season would be such a nice addition to the show

I'm interested in who/what Kai could be as an antagonist. In Rise of the Serpentine, he was shown to be angry that he wasn't destined to become the Green Ninja, and that anger was shown to still be partially present when he was holding Chen's staff in Tournament of Elements; "I should have been the Green Ninja!" Chen's words("what if I also told you there were secrets about your parents that your senseis never told you?"), along with Krux and Acronix's words("your parents were traitors!"), also get the better of him in Hands of Time, which is especially prominent when he meets Ray; "I want justice!" "Traitor!" "I'm not your friend!"
But this is still a kid's show, so I could see them choosing a watered-down version of this, which I would still be interested in.

The reason Jay never became evil for as long as the other ninja is because if you think about it, lightning is extremely powerful and if Jay was to let anger out using his powers, the ninja would be as good as dead
That's something to think about. It makes you think about his birth mom's side of the family and if she or any of her ancestors got so mad they unleashed a full blown lightning storm that almost destroyed parts of Ninjago.

Also, technically all of season one before we learned Lloyd was the green ninja, Lloyd serves as an antagonist. So Lloyd has a season and a half under his evil belt. At least he wins the "I was evil three times as much as Zane, and 20 times more than Nya.

I agree that kai is the most likely to become a villain especially with how the ninja treated him in the first few season how wu called him useless and said that he probably shouldn't unlock his true potential, lloyd calling him selfish for wanting to die instead of zane(which is really depressing and not selfish in my perspective) like sure he wants to be the green ninja but thats because he wants to be able to protect his family better and all of the ninja wanted to become the green ninja at one point. I can see kai becoming evil because of getting reminded about the bad things that the ninja has said or done against him, or maybe he will get corrupted from wanting a lot of power similar to what happened with the staff of elements and the anger he has against the other ninja for the bad stuff they said against him just fuels his want for power!

Lloyd would probably be more powerful, as we see him defeat Griefbringer. We have also seen him beat all 4 of the og ninja. While I agree that Kai would be the better villain, Lloyd would be the most powerful

I have a theory of how Nya could become "possessed-evil" in the current day.
So the ninja are just going about, how they are after every big victory, when Nya is tricked (in the same way Lloyd by Morro) to get herself alone. The spirit of Delara is out for revenge!!
Delara possesses Nya and maybe even steals her powers too. Delara is set on finding the Teapot of Tyrahm to free Nadakhan, and she succeeds and wishes for (e.g. absurd power) something to bring Ninjago to its knees! When all hope seems lost, Jay steps to the plate and stops Delara and Nadakhan, and saves Nya. Now everything's fine again!

I think that if any ninja was forced or went evil is would be a hard battle physically and mentally. Considering how close the ninja team is it would be a hard mental battle for both sides so i think that the only way for it to happen would be through corruption, blackmail, or some other kind of manipulation. I really want Kai to go evil maybe at first he thinks he is going to be able to handle and can be a spy like he did on Chen’s Island before being corrupted but then gets tangled up way too deep to get out of whatever he got himself into. Maybe he could try to let the others know he is sorry by reversing what he said on Chen’s island like “I don’t think this will ever make sense, even when it’s over” I just think Kai would make a good villain corrupted or forced. He wouldn’t go evil on his own choice unless something drastic happened.

zane being the ice emperor is a prime example that the ninja except Kai don’t work as villains notice how his personality is completely detached from zane nothing is slightly like him that’s because zane personality doesn’t work with him being evil nether jay Cole nya or Lloyd the ninja becoming evil would be the same as the whole evil ninja filler from season 2 without removing there personality and what’s the point of then being evil in the first place
I was sad that season 11 ice chapter, I remember one of the episode was supposed to be called either Fire vs Ice or Fire and Ice, I really wished that it would stand down of Kai fighting Zane, but in the end it was Lloyd.
Kai was selfish and filled with rage in the beginning but later on in the seasons like 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 he accepted the fact that he was the fire ninja and I actually like his character then
Well, from the Crystallized season, it’s known that if Lloyd gets the upper hand on the side of Oni, then he will become Evil, it seems to me that if Kai became evil without obsession and damage, then only if his friends sharply began to treat him badly or did something very bad to him (for example: betrayed, not supported at the right time, abandoned, discussed in a bad sense behind his back, said nasty things about him) in the currents of the case, he would become villains just to teach them a lesson.

Season five will always be my favorite because Morro is my favorite villain. Lloyd being possessed by Morro is basically that. Plus, Lloyd is my favorite ninja.
This has nothing to do with Ninjago, but I went outside today and I saw a paper bag in the wind and I said aloud, to no one in particular, “Morro is playing with a plastic bag.” Quarantine has made me crazy

I think Jay could be the most dangerous villain compare to the other ninja because he is the lightning ninja and it is more dangerous compare to the other ninja (except Lloyd's). Alot of people underestimate Jay because of his sense of humour but he can just use his elemental power on Zane so he could control or hack Zane. if Jay we're more serious he's expression can just make him use his elemental power and he could hurt alot of people. I would really like to see Jay being a villain more longer it would be so cool honestly. (This is just my opinion. And i am from Malaysia and my grammar is not very good)
