I will never understand why parents don't tell their children that they are adopted. You are supposed to be their foundation and when the truth comes out bc it will, that is shaken to the core. The damage that is done is so deep. Glad my parents told my brother and I the truth.
She’s not adopted. Her parents used a sperm donor so her dad is not her biological father. They tried for years to have a child and, together, they couldn’t.

OK first of all her being open and honest might help a lot of people like the comment above me said which is great we need more of that and Kerry has been private for years extremely private this is the first time she's saying anything about any of her personal life so if she feels like she's ready to say something then let her say it without judgment this is why she hasn't said anything people like you make people like her feel like they can't Express themselves because you're judgmental she was probably afraid of being judged

@@deeperbeauty4147its not something anyone should be ashamed of and speaking up for someone with a platform,is great because she is helping so many people who have felt alone and lost. Sharing our struggles is important because you have no idea how some peoples lives get impacted. She used to be private, not anymore now since she wrote a book and thats okay. She is sharing information at her own time and she is being the lead Character in her life and however she chooses to go about that is okay. We are all just doing the best we can in this life, celebrity or not.

I just don't get it. What does it mean to "struggle with your identity"? She's a beautiful woman who was given incredible opportunities. Opportunities most of us would do anything to receive. She should be thankful and give back to ALL people, like us teachers do on a daily basis. We don't have the time to "struggle with our identity". We struggle to teach these kids, make ends meet, get lesson plans done and try to fit in a bathroom break when there's no time!!!
Interesting. One person's struggle is not the same as others. We equate tangible things, money, education, success, beauty and wonder why those with an abundance may struggle. However it's the intangibles. Growing pains are felt by both rich and poor. Who am I to judge another's viewpoint of their own life?
It's why so many are dysfunctional. The struggle is never address. We press on without acknowledgement OF and work on our internal strughles/crisis however we name them. Then there is the resultant MH issues we ignore.

I dont understand i cant see any physical manefestation of that eating disorder. The way she described it is normal to eat, binge eat and excercise ao u dont get fat. Is that bad? I eat alot and dont excercise thats bad. If ahe really wants to sell a book this story wont make it up. She could put a real story like her music career and beyonce makes her quit music. People dont want to hear fake story for the sake of story telling because theres alot in fictional drama section.
