Yes. The finale was week. But, the thing of it this series was only supposed to last 6 seasons. We got a 7th season because KW’s second pregnancy.

I didn’t start watching the show until it’s second season because that’s what everyone was talking about. Then I bought the season 1 dvd set, binged watched it with my mom and sister and my dad and got them hooked on it.
I hope that Shonda does a spin off show with Olivia and Fitz.

Scandal is 1/3 top faves. Kerry Washington is the one & only person who could’ve played Olivia Pope and it’ll go down in history. She BODIED Liv while giving every one of her co-stars their room to shine like the Queen she is & I’ll NEVER give up hope for a Scandal movie/spin-off etc.

i was watching clips from s1 and s7 and just wondering how did the show change so much...
mono dramas They ran out of storylines. The first couple of seasons had moments that left you flabbergasted!! Also, I think that the storylines in the first couple of seasons seemed believable and realistic. It was possible that situations within the first couple seasons have/were happening within our government, but they went WAY too far! I had friends that watched the show here and there because of me laugh at the last season, even the season before that . It’s unfortunate 👎🏻😔 . This used to be my favorite show ! *sidenote* I recently got into Grey’s Anatomy because multiple people told me I looked like Amelia Shepherd (ahaha) anyway... I got hooked to the show until a few seasons ago . The show sucks now . I love Shonda and think she’s brilliant but I think she doesn’t know when it’s appropriate to end a show without ruining it.

Im so sad its over! It just felt so incomplete! Meanwhile Greys Anatomy is still on and that show is a TRAINWRECK! I seriously dont think seeven seasons was enough for scandal. It all just felt so rushed. For me season6 and seven were absolute disasters. Olivias redemption was SO. RUSHED. They shouldve drew it out, do some more collabs with How ToGet Away With Murder like a black Law and Order SVU. Give us a flow of Olivias new life and how it doesnt revolve around the padt anymore .Again EVERYthing was just so rushed! I'll have to binge the show from the start in Netflix to feel better 😭😭😂😂

I think Shonda started to pick early that the viewers were not really liking current direction on the show and at times seems like there was no plot and the thrill was something short to be desired.
Finale was AWFUL. It was supposed to be somewhat satisfying and realistic, but it was TRASH

Hated the season finale. Hated the final season as a whole. Just wanted to see her and fitz ride off in the sunset lol.
N my limited knowledge of HW I'm thinking maybe the love scenes bet TG & KW were toned down after season 2 frm other influences that fans r not privy 2.
Also the ending of Scandal we r duped 2 believe that SR woke up 1 morning & decided 2 end the show..
I remember vaguely that GMA"s LS announced they had heard Scandal was ending, SR stated that was not true.
I suppose there were other factors that we will never know y Scandal had 2 end.
But the story that SR tells does not pass the smell test.

It's not Olivia the character it's the writers what they turned her into. When her dad and mom came into the picture in season 3 things went downhill for her. It explained alot of why Olivia is the way she is

J'aimais l'idée de cette femme noire, belle, gladiateur,lobbyiste, conseillère du Président des États-Unis, qui sait où elle va et ce qu'elle veut. Jusque là, le tableau est idyllique. Après, ce qui l'est moins, c'est de lui avoir donné la stature d'une héroïne (unique enfant de parents assassins, a aussi du sang sur les mains) qui a la tête sur les épaules, mais qui en réalité, était la Putain en Chef, (briseuse de ménage) mais néanmoins amoureuse de l'ex-Président Grant (gentil assassin) ne sait même pas qui choisir de Jake (méchant assassin) homme à tout faire, le plus écorché de tous, amoureux fou d"Olivia mais qui n'est pas récompensé du même amour en retour, qui se retrouve en prison à la fin à payer pour le reste des assassins (Grant (avion), Mellie (bus), Rowan, Cyrus etc.. Que s'est-il passé dans le tête des producteurs et scénaristes de la série d'avoir pu ainsi créé des personnages black aussi dévalorisants !? Et apparemment c'est la "recette miracle" puisque la même production nous sert la même "soupe" dans leurs autres TV Show !? Rien de plus culpabilisant, DEVALORISANT, que d'être black !? Le Black qui réussit mais qui a les pires défauts. Pour finir, je comptais sur une clôture pour le moins spectaculaire, en apothéose, digne de l'intérêt que les millions de fans du monde entier ont porté à cette série, mon sentiment est qu'on a tous été bernés ! Se coltiner 7 saisons pour ça !? Quel gâchis !
Le problème c que parcequ 'elle est noire on aurait voulu une héroïne lisse .Mais des séries comme game of thrones ont définitivement changé les personnages de lt hrones n'existe plus de personnages idylliques mais des héros plus proches de la réalité, avec leurs défauts ce qui les rend plus humains.
La télé ne nous fait plus rêver mais nous met face à notre triste réalité. Blanche ou noire nous ne sommes pas parfaites surtout si nos ambitions politiques et un goût prononcé pour le pouvoir nous amène à commettre des acts insensés.

SEASON 7 WAS to unrealistic Miller grant working with Olivia pope after Olivia slept with her husband in Millie house!!!!!🤔 NOBODY is that forgiving. And I'm Olivia pope fan but still come on season 7 is garbage I enjoyed last season and season 6 was a short season!!!!
