I watched your video a few days ago and I did the exact mod to my Goldwing today. I even bought identical bulbs from Amazon and it is working great. The flashing is going to help a lot when I go riding again. 142k
You do not need an electronic flasher for the brake lights. The new led bulbs plugged straight into the connector. One thing I did notice is the new led brake bulbs didn't fit into the connector quite as nice as the old bulbs. They work great, they just don't fit exactly the same. Just not as tight a fit. I still have my original bulbs in the turn signals. You might need to add one of those controllers if you do your turn signals.
Hi Motorcycle Day Tripper, Take a look at roughly 2:50 minute marker. I think the existing bulbs just pull out. I should have done a close up to show it better. In the video, I didn't use any electrical tape to help hold the bulbs in. After a yera or so, the new LED strobe light bulbs worked themselves out of bulb socket after a couple of years and riding on some nasty bumpy rides. I used some electrical tape to secure the LED bulbs into the assembly. The tape job seems to be working really well. Thanks again for watching!
Thank you so much Sir!!!! You saved me a lot of time and headache for sure. Thanks for such a detailed tutorial
Glad to hear that. Thanks for watching!

To use these led light strobe bulbs do you need an electronic flasher? Or is that only for the turn signals.

Please give an update on the LED’S ?
Hi Bradley, The brake lights are still going strong and working great. I've put roughly 10,000 miles on the bike since I installed the lights.
Is it just the bulbs you need to replace?
Hi Great Dane, Yep. Just the bulb. The new bulbs don't seem to fit quite a well when inserting them into the sockets but work fine.
Yes. Amazon has it
You didn't show how you removed the first bulbs. Boo.
