@@TonyRedgrave To be fair, there is at least one Character praising you for brutally murdering your enemies and even paying you to write down everything for it so she could, if i remember correctly, be 'inspired' for her writings. (Heavensward Relic) Literally tells you how your enemy must have cursed you under their last breath and how much you killed. I am more surprised that WoL didn't get at least once be told off for the sheer amount of mass-murdering they do.

This is, by far, the best remixed beast tribe theme in FFXIV so far
The one for Xelphatol Grounded is also super good. That's a good Ixal remix.

Makes sense that the theme would still have a fire themed title. Ifrit aside, you have the Brotherhood/Ring of Ash and their theme is called Smoulder. Then the Zahar'ak camp's theme is Pitfire.

Tiamat is my girl. Such a good mother. Fighting the battle to help free her children and even saying that she would put down those of her children that were beyond saving. I love her and what she contributed.

It was insane seeing Ser Estinien flying fucking Tiamat above you to somewhat of a James Bond/Metal rendition to the Amaljaa themee as you start your charge exactly when the badass guitar/drums drive start kicking. As a reminder, he just broke out of the frozen tundra, stabbed up a human/monster/cyborg freak and freed Bahanut's wife.
Okay this is a legit freaking remix of the Amalj'aa beast tribe theme. Totally dig it.
Makes me want them to bring Conflagration back, that funky version was lit as hell back in 1.0 (no pun intended)

I've been digging the "war zone" dungeons we've gotten; starting from Ghimlyt Dark, then Hero's Gauntlet. They also have some of the best dungeon music
I like them too, but there is one nitpick I have with them... Using a controller to select the mobs is a pain when an allied NPC is in the way and they get selected instead. I've gone through all of the settings and still can't find a way to turn it off but otherwise, yes! These battlefield dungeons are totally awesome, targeting frustrations be damned! :-D
Don't forget Ala Mhigo and Baelsar's Wall. Those were also great dungeons with great music.
@@KaminoZan there is some option that lets you choose what target gets selected on a drawn weapon, ive set that to quest stuff and enemies, that works rather fine.
@@Salt_Mage Ala Mhigo esp is nice to check side streets and find the GC leaders with their retinues fighting
Now that I realized, all the x.5 patch dungeons have the same "Assault against garlean troops" vibes
On patch at 6am EST: "I need to be very quiet. People are sleeping."
Queues for Paglth'an, thirty minutes later: "Raising this up to make sure everyone knows this song!"

This song hits me so good. Not only Pitfire but you also get some some Smoulder mixed in too. Absolutely what I wanted from Soken and it feels like a dream.
Smolder is a remix of Pitfire to being with
@@Salt_Mage They are the same song, but the beginning of this follows Smoulder with the opening. You can compare the two songs and the beginning is actually different between the two. Pitfire goes right in but Smoulder has a much more somber start which this song mirrors more before it goes full Pitfire.

Amalj'aa being my favorite beast tribe with their theme, glad this came with a sick remix!
The music is so RAW, so POWERFUL at the start. Like the scorching sun in the most harshest of deserts.
The softer and more melodious parts are a kin to the finding of an oasis, only to find its a mirage when the music loops. Tis harsh indeed but the strength behind the power of the beginning of this music, it cannot rightly be denied.
Thank you so much to the composer for this game, and other composers as I think I saw different names for different themes?
I didn't realize until I was doing some ARR beast tribe quests recently that this was the Amalj'aa theme remixed. I hadn't heard it in ages. Go to the Amalj'aa area and I had that "WAIT I KNOW THIS" reaction. Already loved this song and love it more now.
Reminds me of Xelphatol because we can invade another homeland of a beast tribe now. But this time we're here to help them!

I think everyone was surprised by how epic this dungeon was. First beasttribe i finished back in ARR days and the new theme really conveys feelings of nostalgia but also the sense that something has gone very, very wrong. It's like.. old enemy is helpless in the face of this level of destruction and violence unleashed by the tower and you help them because noone deserves this fate.
the Telophoroi really didn't have to go and temper all the Garleans and nuke the capital. all those civilians, man... and nobody else in the MSQ is gonna go help em

It certainly feels like The End has come, and it did.... but it hasn't truly begun.
This and Holminder Switch are the two bangers of FF14. I was so ready to kick ass when this started playing. Soken is on another level.
Soken is an amazing composer and he really went off the chain for Shadowbringers. This expansion's entire soundtrack is absolute gold.

It's funny because both Holminster Switch and Paglth'an are also settlements under attack by (mindless) enemy forces.

I imagine it will. After all, it is the sworn guardian of Hydaelyn. I'm more interested to see if we actually need the ultima weapons heart for endwalker.
...think Midgardsormr sacrificed himself to save the WoL and his/her companions nearing the tail end of the Omega quest line

i was already a huge fan of the amaljaa theme and it was my first beast tribe to max reputation. imagine my hype when i get to this dungeon and hear this absolute worldy. holy shit i was batchesting so hard

For me, this has become the official Telophoroi/Fandaniel theme until we get a proper one. You can just feel the chaos and the violence emanating from it

I completely disagree. What you propose would simply overwhelm the theme and make it feel overstuffed. It already comes close at times to that.
