China's AA missiles are Pretty GOOD. Cheaper and Equivalent in Performance than any US or Russian AA missiles. Plus with improved Radar and Target acquis ion system ........ Interesting .
China has a huge manufacturing capacity on a large scale. This applies to defense weaponry, too, and it's very difficult for any other country on the planet to compete. I don't think America can.👍👍
you are correct problem is though… China’s latest aircraft carrier is not nuclear powered so it has to hug the coastline and China famously does not have a fleet of air tanker refuelers that’s a problem
@ I'm not sure of the point your trying to make...but ...no,they didn't ...the entire fleet was limited by how much fuel they could carry but a nuclear powered fleet is practically limitless which is exactly my point c hi ina's carrier's will be tethered to the coast line which makes the j35 vulnerable because they can only go so far from their carrier's they will have to dodge BVR missiles all day
@@treyborn2931 TThe U.S. aircraft carrier during World War II was not nuclear-powered, but this did not prevent the U.S. aircraft carrier from sailing into Japanese waters. The operating range of an aircraft carrier does not depend on whether the aircraft carrier is nuclear-powered, but on the country's overall supply capabilities. This is why the United States has a large number of overseas military strongholds. In other words, what limits the range of operations of China's aircraft carrier is not because the aircraft carrier has no nuclear power, but because China has too few overseas military bases The U.S. aircraft carrier also needs to replenish a large amount of daily necessities and food, various ammunition, and aviation fuel. Without these supplies, the U.S. aircraft carrier is just a large toy. When the United States enters a war with a small country, the rate of material loss is not rapid. This weakness is not obvious. When a large-scale war breaks out with a big country, the combat materials of the aircraft carrier fleet will be rapidly depleted in large quantities. If the combat materials cannot be replenished in time, the fleet will lose combat capabilities. Will nuclear-powered aircraft carriers be different from conventional aircraft carriers by then?

6:31 The F-35 was designed as a light multi-role fighter, it's size is one of the reasons why Switzerland bought 36 of them ( missing on your diagram at 3:06). Switzerland hides some of its fighters in hardened shelters, which are basically tunnels in mountains, and these installations can not accommodate much larger aircraft. In addition to that it is still war doctrine in Switzerland, to use certain parts of freeways as makeshift runways, and there is a size limitation to that as well. If "big" were always better most MIG's (Mikojan) airplanes would not exist, because the Sukhois are the big aerial supremacy aircraft, i.e. MIG-35 vs SU-35. Look at the F/A-18 and the F-5 Tiger II the Swiss air force has, they were chosen for their size.
Why you want 2 types of stealth jet fighter? how about the 2 seated J20S? one of the seat isn't for a backup pilot. You have a man driving the aircraft, and the other man sending command to drones or other aircraft after collecting data at the front-line. The defensive weapons are another bright spot on the show. I'm not talking about the missile defend system. The anti-drone microwave system, is something that never seen before, and it makes sense when the modern warfare is all about manless machines.
The reason you have two types of 5th gen fighters is the same as 4th gen fighters! The F-15/F-16, SU-27/MIG-29 is they may cover different mission sets and a lighter cheaper more producible light fighter! Russia 🇷🇺 will do the same when their SU-75 comes into production!
20:24 According to Xinzhi Song, a famous Chinese military weapon expert, the F35's radar cross-section is 0.1 square meters, whereas the J35's is less than 0.01 square meters. Not in the same order of magnitude. Now that China has stopped selling gallium to the US, F35s must wait on its radar.
I HAVE A QUESTION !! Where you have the overhead picture of the J35 & F35 side by side ... @@cvashel but that is always why the US "stealth" planes have horrible maintenance issues. Literally every time they fly their skin needs to be inspected and/or conditioned.
@@Amidat The F-35 can't fly in rain or thunderstorms or if the fuel is too warm (the fuel is used to cool the electronics). Regarding all this nonsense the Chinese are copying, There are universal things that everyone will do roughly the same, an airplane is not a vehicle that anyone can design whatever they want, Especially physiological, the stealth that needs to be fitted in the plane reduces the possibility of the design, What is this, also on a mathematical result you ara going to say that the Chinese copied 😂
Why did they change the name to J-35. will only cause confusion with F-35 when discussing aircrafts. J-31 was already good name and unique name. China should start selling J-35 as soon as possible. Other countries are already planning to sell their stealth planes like South Korean and Turkey.
@@phillipanderson9925he means due to twin engine j-35 will produce more smoke actually he tries to make fun because he is internally jealous and didn't want to believe china success.
J35A is for the air force J35 is for the navy. He is saying J35 will start replacing the old early variants of J15s. The latest variant of J15 is the J15T which is the Catobar capable variant. That will probably still remain in service for awhile longer. J15D is the naval electronic warfare or EW variant which is based on the air force version called.
In the new era of warfare, large numbers of fighter aircraft can be a liability. Wny? Becase we are in the era of HYPERSONIC missiles, DRONES, and A2/AD air defense. China leads in hypersonic missile systems, drones, and air defense is likey a draw with Russia. In addition, becusse of advances in air defense, and air-to-air missiles, the days of close-in dog fights, and overhead bombing is a thing of the past. No matter how advanced or expensive the aircraft, they will deliver their missiles and glide bombs in "standback" position. This means out-of-range from the enemies air defense and fighter aircraft in order to escape.
I love how china's response to the world accusing them of stealing us tech is to make a "stealth" fighter that looks exactly like the f-35, and instead of at least using an original name, they pick j-35 lmao. Then they use their propaganda to gaslight everyone into thinking it's not a copy because it has two smaller engines like that actually means anything.

The Chinese don’t need refueling. They are focused on defending their coastline and not overreaching. Their ICBMs is their long range deterrence. All their missiles can reach any US base in the area. If they need to attack the US mainland they will do so from a far. The Chinese coastline is the world’s most heavily defended coastline. Battle experience doesn’t guarantee victory. How many wars has the US been in since WW2? None, of which it has won. The future of modern warfare will be deadly and fought with robots, drones, AI, technology, and missiles. Guess who has the world’s largest missile and rocket systems and drones? China. Guess who has the largest production, manufacturing, and supply chains, and logistics? You can’t win wars without manufacturing, supply chains, and logistics. With all these technologies humans will only come in to pick up the bodies. Try not to be so bias in your thinking. It doesn’t matter if you’re just contained to your own coastline. The US is not concerned about its coastline being hit ..manufacturing? America won World War II because of its manufacturing. It became the world's only superpower because of it, the US economy can switch to a manufacturing economy no problem... you cannot name one war where the United States lost on the battlefield… Lost in a court of public opinion yes but not on the battlefield ...Name one... America concerned about 10,000 casualties of course that’s a strength not a weakness… Losing millions and not blinking an eye is a weakness ...look at Russia just about 1 million casualties in two years that makes no sense. They are facing a future population crisis... agreed the future will be dominated by AI but it’s only a tool US battle doctrine never takes the human experience out of that loop

and all stealth are copies from a Soviet concept. Same with vertical take off planes too.
cmon its a lot more than just the intakes though
The DSI (Diverterless Supersonic Intake) air intake was first used on the Chinese designed JF-17 low cost fighter jet in 2001.
@@bobsmith3983The JF-17 went into production in 2003 the F-35 won it's production competition Against a rival stealth fighter in 2001 it was tested and flown years before that the Chinese j-10's were based on the f-16 the Chinese J-10B , first debuted in 2018 , it's Diverterless supersonic inlets are a direct copy of the F-16 variant block 30 Diverterless supersonic inlets which first flew back in 1996... let that sink in for a minute ...1996
@@Issavibe3 the f-35 uses DSI as a cheaper option ,it intended on using the variable geometry inlets the f-22 uses Wich can adjust their shape to optimize airflow depending on flight speed and conditions ...DSI on the f-35 were the second option ,they are less efficient than the f-22 VGI's and the main reason it can't achieve super cruise as it would have added another degree of complication to a platform that didn't need it ..the F 35 is practicallyi omniscient With it’s sensor suite which makes it deadlier than the F-22 in it’s air ground roll, the fact that the f-35 uses DSI doesn't mean the Italians invented a vertical takeoff and landing, super Sonic stealth fighter...lol 😂😂
It's a good looking plane. I'm not sure its fair state its better than the F-35, especially since its relatively new and not much is known, but China has done the smart thing in tailoring their aircraft requirements to their geographical needs. Bigger planes mean more fuel and the ocean is a vast theatre.

russian flanker chief designer said there are only 2 types of 5th-generation stealth fighters in the world. one type is J-20. the other type is f-22 and its copycats( f-35, su-57, j-35).
he said all fighter jets designers will agree with him that j-20 is the most innovative aerodynamic masterpiece. and its a very risky and out of box design that guarantee j-20 to be the fastest, the most agiled, the most fuel efficient 5th-generation stealth fighters in the world.
f35 can even dive into ocean, yankee pilot need more swimming training though, LOL
that was the Brits. They forgot to take off the fan cover, and it dove into the sea… But the Chinese forgot to close the submarine hatch and their sub sanked… It happens.

TP is a great guest!
Didn't know stealth technology originated by the Soviets. Great talks, thanks!
You're welcome!
Um...no.. a Russian scientist wrote a book on the theory of wave refraction ..that’s it… He never imagined that theory being applied to aircraft The US were the first to apply that theory to aircraft
great info
thanks!
It is more like production flow management. You don't want to first 3 years 300%, then next 7 years sitting idle. A lot of J35 is for sale probably starting at year 3 or 5.
Who are they selling the J 35 to … there's only a few nation states that need stealth aircraft It will never reach the production rate of the F 35.
the theory/formula related to stealth fighter was created by Russian scientist.
I don't think America can.👍👍
I love when TP comes on the show 😘
Amazing analisys fram TP Huang👍👍👍👍
Glad you liked it
One thing you didn't mention is that The smaller and lighter J35 is built to be used on a Aircraft carrier whereas the J20 is not, correct?
you are correct problem is though… China’s latest aircraft carrier is not nuclear powered so it has to hug the coastline and China famously does not have a fleet of air tanker refuelers that’s a problem
@@treyborn2931 Were U.S. carriers nuclear-powered in WWII?😂
In other words, what limits the range of operations of China's aircraft carrier is not because the aircraft carrier has no nuclear power, but because China has too few overseas military bases
The U.S. aircraft carrier also needs to replenish a large amount of daily necessities and food, various ammunition, and aviation fuel.
Hey Carl that's not the Su57 but a T-50 prototype of the Su57
Carl Za Thank you for sharing with me about the China Air Show really want to learn more how effective in the world today. The US will now build a new 5-billion-dollar f35 using the j35 ideas.
LOL, coming from a country that copies every other country's technology.
You guys should watch J20 flight performance. Damn freaking impressive. It can flip and rotate 360 degrees.
I hope one day Eastern powers join hands, like India and China. Imagine the good stuff they can build.
Don't Mess with China.
I HAVE A QUESTION !!
Where you have the overhead picture of the J35 & F35 side by side ... WHY does it look like the F35 went to a concert, got drunk & stoned & smashed to pieces, and then roadies put it back together with gaffer tape? What are all those marks on it that look like it was taped back together after someone broke it? 😂😂😂

radar absorbent material, kinda important for stealth jets
@@cvashel but that is always why the US "stealth" planes have horrible maintenance issues. Literally every time they fly their skin needs to be inspected and/or conditioned.
@@Amidat ok? There’s a reason we still use 4th gen. Ram is hard and expensive to maintain but it’s essential to stealth
@@Amidat The F-35 can't fly in rain or thunderstorms or if the fuel is too warm (the fuel is used to cool the electronics). I remember a F-35 that froze like the Windows OS and the plane didn't respond to the pilot which resulted in him ejecting but the F-35 kept flying on until it ran out of fuel. They didn't know where it crashed for quite sometime. Imagine that happens when you about to engage an opposing fighter. You're dead.
I would not be so sure that J-35 is superior to J-15.Because J-15 is a Flanker, and Flankers are the best.Thirty tons of thrust and airframe that is simply a work of art.

There are universal things that everyone will do roughly the same, an airplane is not a vehicle that anyone can design whatever they want,

What is this, also on a mathematical result you ara going to say that the Chinese copied 😂
Why did they change the name to J-35. will only cause confusion with F-35 when discussing aircrafts.

It doesn’t matter if you’re just contained to your own coastline. The US is not concerned about its coastline being hit ..manufacturing? America won World War II because of its manufacturing. It became the world's only superpower because of it, the US economy can switch to a manufacturing economy no problem... you cannot name one war where the United States lost on the battlefield… Lost in a court of public opinion yes but not on the battlefield ...Name one...
