He’ll probably release more variety in the Flex Series, if you can manage to cut your nails.
good one
They focused on closed sided cases cause those were selling more. It's just business, open sided cases don't sell as well because they don't offer as much protection
I disagree. Now if you’re rock climbing 🧗♀️ or just being completely careless, I would agree. I’ve had the flex series on my XS Max for almost two years with zero issues to the device.
@@ResplendentRaider people don't trust them who have never used them, hence, they don't sell as well.
@@colina4699 he has a video of him dropping a phone off a building with that case on for crying out loud. What more proof is needed?
@@ResplendentRaider I've seen the video. I don't doubt it. However, most potential customers have likely not seen it.
@@colina4699 yeah its only a few of us that prefer the actual feel of the phone.
I’m rocking a frosted Gen 3 as I type this and was an early pre-order for the OG Rebel.
I think most people want closed sides for peace of mind so that’s where they put their resources.
But I agree they should try of offer more variations of the Flex and try to make cases available on launch day
I appreciate your opinion. I'm very glad they make closed sided cases. Love a beautiful case with a ton of protection.
True!!! All I wanted was a frosted flex case. It really sucked that they didn’t invest in their original product line
I agree once I tried this case I bought the uag monarch pro which has MagSafe and I quickly put back on my flex series it’s just exciting to grab my phone that feels natural nothing comes close
Bro love the vids, honestly I have to agree with your statement, they should make a y least 2 more variations of the flex series, crystal and a random fun one would be cool!
They focus on what sells. What is so perplexing about that common sense rationale?
I agree.
I want a red flex series.
So what’s your point?
The flex series does have MagSafe but it better for the regular model not pro since pro have stainless steel it’ll leave so many fingerprints on the sides
To be fair if you already have a flex case for iPhone 13 then you really don’t need gen 3
I did want the Gen-3 for its clear design and the Frosted, but the closed sides held me back
You do realize with Covid-19 there has been massive shortages for all industrial companies it was almost Impossible to get parts needed for anything
I do understand the delays, I was just confused as to why they prioritized the closed-sided cases first rather than the open sides.
Bro, may I know did you use the screen protector comes with the Flex case or what brand of screen protector are you currently using? Love ur vids!
I did not use the screen protector with my FLEX case, as I already had one prior to buying it. I used the glass screen protector for Casemate.
you has 650 subscribers....I think you make very premium contents and you deserve hunderdtousands of subs. Great video!
Thank you! 🙏🏾
I bought the rebel gen 3 and the flex series. I have no idea what he is talking about. This is petty.
For me I do not care about the open-sided cases so after all it is personal preferences.
Yep, at the end of the day, it’s what you prefer that matters most, not what others prefer. Just wanted to share my opinion 😄
Also is it not weird that in the flex series it doesn’t have the green shock gel in it? Where as the original did.
Phone Rebel explained that it was much more difficult to integrate the shock-absorbing gel in the flat-edged design. But the Gen-2 and Gen-3 cases, both of which are flat, still have them… although the next Flex is expected to finally integrate them again
They're focusing on close sided cases because they sell better. This is really not that hard to figure out.
I have bought my first phone rebel case and I’m loving it. It’s easily the best case I’ve bought
The reason why, is because EVERYONE err The Majority wanted a closed design.
they are not focusing on making close sided cases, they are focused on making more protective cases.
Agreed..phone rebel should maintain their identity to keep making open sided case..not the closed sided case..
I love the open sided case for the bigger phones I’ve had them all except the gen 3 closed case. Gen 2 was heavy and bulky. Seemed like a slightly cooler Mous case. This one looks better but I’m always on a mission to get the biggest phone with the thinnest case that can handle drops. Open sided with a carbon fiber skin off the side…. Perfection
still rocking the first gen crystal case 💪🏽
i see where you are coming from with the open sided cases. but you have to relise how much it is for him to make these cases and sell them at that price. he need to get new molds materials and other costs that go into make a new case thats what some cases were delayed due to shortages and how much he had to shell out for molds.
I’m disappointed that the frost matte cases have weak magnets, now I can’t buy.
Weak? 30% stronger than average
No, the Frosted Gen-3 cases only have the same MagSafe strength as original Apple cases, and the slippery frosted design allows accessories to fall off more easily.
Only the FLEX Series and Gen-3 REBEL have the 30% stronger magnets.
The new iphone come with shiny stainless steel frame and with open sides, that would not look good on those shiny colorful colors. Also, protection 😁
Looking back on this video, I do admit that I kind of sound entitled and I think I may have expressed my opinion kind of aggressively or in the wrong way. I do appreciate the feedback you guys have given me.
I still stand by my opinion that Phone Rebel should focus more on their open-sided cases instead of closed-sided ones. It’s what built their company, but at the end of the day, it’s just my opinion.
I do understand the reasoning that Phone Rebel likely chose to develop their closed-sides cases first because it’s much easier to do and it sells more because the design is more familiar and gives more protection, and that open-sided cases are really hard to make since no one has ever done them before.
My point is this video is that I don’t like the closed sided cases. It’s just my opinion. If Phone Rebel made many different types of open cases, I’d probably get most, if not all of them. Again, this is just my opinion, and you don’t have to agree. Before I posted this video, I did expect that most people would disagree. But again, at the end of the day, *it’s just my opinion.*
The frosted series gen 3 vs Spigen Ultra hybrid mattle black. Whice is best for my iPhone? Plz reply
I haven’t tried either Gen-3 or the Spigen case, so I can’t really recommend the right one for you.
@@brandon_caleb oh! Ok tnx
I am not buying no flex series 😂 I'm only buying the closed sided cases!
I never liked the open sided cases and the normal regular cases sold more
I must disagree with the opinion on open sided cases. I want this case for how well it protects all parts of the phone,I hate scratches on the screen back and sides, I’m thrilled they offer the closed sided cases as first priority and that there are more options. A case is about protection first, if it’s cool and allows damage why bother. Also I work outside and drop things. Open sides allow broken screens.
maybe open sided case is really just a niche market
In a nutshell: product is good, sales team should've done better, release on time
I agree open please
Closed sided cases are the best open sided casss shouldn’t exist they offer no protection for phone
I’ve had the FLEX Series case for my phone for 6 months now, and it has protected it in many rough situations and drops. It offers great protection while keeping your phone feel naked and nice.
@@brandon_caleb i prefer full coverage it’s more protection eventually case like that will fail on drop I’ll stick with mous limitless 4.0 good case and uk company with no scandalous shipping costs
@@briancarlisle8886 you do you my guy
I don't want an open sided case and will never buy one. Purchased the Rebel in black and frosted in black. Open sided, I'll PASS!
I think it’s the idea of open sides that people can’t deal with.
I ran an OG Rebel on my 11 Pro for around 1.5 years… took it hunting, fishing, wrenched on cars, ATV riding, to work and when I traded that phone in it was in immaculate condition.
It got dropped to many times to count too.
There may be a rare situation where it falls in exactly the right way on something where it strikes on the exposed sides but that’s not a common occurrence.
Pretty sure PhoneRebel will survive without your $35 OR the support of your massive UA-cam presence.
Didn’t say they would fail, I’m going to keep buying their open sided cases.
I respect your opinion and you have the right to have an opinion but you sound like a dweeb lmfao... the creator wanted to make a case with best drop protection that still has a great look and feel but drop protection always came first. Thats why gen 3 is the main product... Also as other comments have said, he is focusing on products the market demands, which is mainly closed cases
i can just tell you smell
hahaha omg😵😵😵😵😵
