My 16yo son was saying that it would be the perfect screensaver to watch the baby turtles swimming around in the holding container. Great job getting them started on their new lives.
OMG there is nothing cuter than that tiny tortoise head sticking out of the egg! Thank you for sharing this, I had no idea just how adorable hatching turtles scooting around in vermiculite was 🥰
I love how no matter the species, even right out of their eggs, they are determined to get out of their containers. Even climbing over each other to do so! 😆
I discovered your page today. I'm obsessed, going through all your videos. One thing that sticks out to me, which isn't even turtle based, is how immaculately behaved your children are, for such young little ones they're so well behaved in your videos. They look equally intrigued, enthusiastic and loving toward your animals as you both are. What a wonderful little family you are bring up and caring for all these animals. You're both clearly fantastic parents too 👏 Keep up the good work guys ❤️
The rare beauty of being a part of the everyday miracles Mother Nature so generously provides. You and your family are fortunate to be able to do what you are passionate about, and know that you are also serving the important diversity of tortoises and turtles in their natural habitats. You do great things, and I thank you for sharing your journey with us.🖤🇨🇦
My 2-year-old granddaughter watched this video with me and said, "Papa, can Dozer and Phoebe (my male and female Ornate Box Turtles) have eggs? This shows you how!" Another awesome, informative video. Thanks for sharing!
How sweet😊 what a wonderful and rewarding experience that be !❤ nice job 👍👍💚💚💚🐢🐢 lots of work with lots of babies you guys are amazing 👌 thanks for sharing loved seeing this😀
Oh my gosh 🥰 so so cute, actually brought tears to my eyes. So beautiful and little. Oh my gosh thank you for sharing and all your hard work taking care of these precious animals. ❤️
Thank you for sharing all your babies with us. What beauty nature gives us. I don't think I ever get tired of seeing baby turtles there is something about them that makes me happy.have a wonderful day. ❤️
Kept expecting you to swish them around to wash the vermiculite off 🤣. (Yeah, I know that wouldn't happen). Such cute babies, perfect little miniatures.
I just had the smallest eastern box turtle I have ever seen hatch. It was by far the smallest egg out of 7 and I really didn't think it would hatch but it was developing so I let it be. It is the size of a dime and taking forever to absorb the yoke sac. It's from my favorite turtle, she's like your Otis too. I cannot do anything in her enclosure without her being in my grill so I have to put her in a tote so I don't accidentally step on her.
Turtles are amazing .. I'd love to have your Job 🥰. Otis is a keeper for sure, always love seeing his videos .. I have an eastern box I rescued from a guy that had him in a ten gallon tank 🙄😔😔😔 but he has a whole room now.. three swim areas ,heat pads, lights ..logs ,rocks everything 🥰🥰. It's odd because he totally loves to swim and be in the water ... I've heard always they aren't to fond of water.. but he loves it 🥰😍😍
I brought in some eggs that I wasn’t sure what they were(I had tons of boxies in my yard) or if they were viable. My daughter did the flashlight test and said there were babies in there. It was a miracle to see them coming out.
Little buddy there needed some air, eh? But stays inside the egg to absorb the yolk sack, correct? (aight, listened to the video, mea culpa). Thanks though for the video, very informative this time as most times!
I will actually use tubs like that for individual grow out tubs for the first few months. They hold humidity very well and work very well. I wouldn’t use it long term of course, but for the first half year, yep.
I saw a video a while back that showed people raising Asian soft shelled turtles. It was really insane. They had hundreds of thousands of eggs that they put on racks above water and they let them hatch and fall into the water. I just couldn't get over the amount of turtles that they were producing.
They are so cute. When I have a bad day I work. I say to myself "The babies are so cute. They are so tiny. They eat a lot and poop a lot, and that makes me happy, so I know they are healthy. Now they are stronger, and bigger, but I need to put them on a diet, and design an outdoor exercise area that they can't climb out of. They need exercise, and not me chasing them in different directions." My three babies are snapping turtles.
That’s pretty cool in my time I’ve done that was snapping turtles at 85 in a bundle of eggs, Kim alive and then go free after my first their hatch of babies very nice🐢
So....We need to find some sort of scanner that can harmlessly scan underground for turtles and other life forms that is some sort of easy to use gardeners device so that when we do gardening in the future none of them get hurt.
In mixing the species within the water, how does that affect the babies' microbiomes? You have so many babies from so many places in the world.. Have studies been done on whether any diseases can be passed at this stage?

Oh my goodness, baby turtle yawns are simply the best! Cuteness is overloading the senses!
I love how no matter the species, even right out of their eggs, they are determined to get out of their containers. Even climbing over each other to do so! 😆
That's called helping each other, right? 😂💜
Each and everyone of them is a perfectly crafted jewel. Mother Nature has the best stuff.
I made an INHUMAN SQUEAL at the opening scene! 😭❤️ I can’t! He yawned! So sweet!
You sir are a shining example of; Good behavior and kindness. Thank you so much for just being you.
Thank You Leone Family for all the work you do to make sure we continue to have turtles and tortoises on this planet!
I grew up in NJ and the Manasquan River was my back yard. I love Terrapins and learning that you are incubating and releasing is such wonderful news!
I don’t know what it is about turtles but I just really like them

I love this, but also: there's clearly cuts where Chris takes time with them, even if it's just to say dad is working.

Here in the Garden State, it's perfectly acceptable to stop everything for 🐢 crossing/rescue LOL.
How is it that your girls are so well behaved? They don’t seem to fight or clamor for your attention! Impressive!
I wasn’t sure if your wife was also a turtle girl, I’ve only watched a few videos, but I’m THRILLED to see that she is! 🥰🥰🥰 turtle girls unite!

I love eastern milksnakes. 😍
They're darker brown and not as red over here in the Midwest. But still just as beautiful.
Wow that's definitely a work of God who else could create such beautiful designs
Don’t forget Loiasis, the worm that burrows into your eye and causes blindness.
@@loriw2661 and leeches, ticks, tapeworms and COVID 19. God is so good to make these too.

wow! You have some amazing animals!! I love your terrapin conservation work, too!
Just wonderful. We had 2 tortoises 🐢 but they came on heat at different times. The female used to really hit the male when she was on heat!
Sounds like you might have 2 males......
The vet said they were male and female as we couldn't tell.

I haven’t watched your channel before. Where do all these baby turtles go once they can survive on their own? Do you release them?
What do you do with all these babies eventually? Sell them?
Please don’t explode baby turtles
Edit: clickbait!!! no turtles exploded!!!
Hi Chris, how do you differentiate between western, eastern, and dalmatian hatchlings?
So cute!
You have some great background music! Can we get a playlist?
So cute ❤️😍😍😍❤️😘

Great work you guys!
Can't wait to see your enclosure for the build off. I predicted last years so know I'm rooting for y'all.
What do you do with all your tortoises and turtles? Beside The diamondback terrapins, are they raised for sale or for re-population?
How can the two of you possibly take care of all these animals?
So cool.
This is My Therapy 💯💯💯❤️❤️❤️😘😘😘😽😽
What do you do with all the baby’s??
You guys should patent one for gardeners.
Really awesome 👍👍👍
