Racing the Washougal Pro motocross national on my yz250 2 stroke. Road tripped it from Millville in a pickup truck to race with the best of the best in Washington. Long road trip home but we made it in great time!

Ya for being such an underdog u did great .u can hear the crowd giving you props as you come thru..mx fans know how badass you are that smoker. Someone needs to build a 350 smoker ..so u can hook up and not be so pipey like a 250..there is no way being down 10+ ponies down u can pull those long up hills and straits..I will share your videos to help u build your channel..I really respect your guts

Don’t get discouraged! You’re riding a 250 against open class bikes on big national tracks! You should be allowed to race against other 250’s with your 250. Bloody politics!

I think it's worth saying that the fact this dude does most of his own driving, loads and unloads his own gear, drags it in and out of hotel rooms and can still put in a great performance! That's amazing! Well done sir!

It was cool to see Two YZ250’s at Washougal. Every time the 920 and you jumped the big jump with the Monster Energy sign we’d yell and clap. Awesome job brother.

I just came across a short video clip that my 9year old took of you and a massive rock getting kicked in front of your tire after coming out of that nasty rut before the triple in the second moto. Hey Matt. Really proud of you to be pushing hard like that and doing what you love. I used to race a yz 250 two stroke I had an '02 actually. I was 19 before I had to go 4 stroke to race and have the torque advantage. But I ended getting hurt bad a few times before LL and that was it in my MX career. I ended up being a Pro Wakeboarder. Since we all raced and went out on the lake. I had a great childhood and teenage years racing and going out on the lake constantly. I have to admit after 30 or since 30 life sucks. I will never be able to have the same life I had in my first 30. Sucks. But enjoy it while you can... And I subscribed. I will do what I can to help keep you funded to race.

Definitely a bucket list track, but a long way from NC. The track looked treacherous Saturday. I watch @vlogepicness stuff a lot, and they run PIR when in Washington and did a little vlog from the national. They filmed some 450 stuff right at the entry to the whoops also, and seems I heard a 2 stroke a time or 2 in the vlog. Could have been Brown also. That Thursday night PIR before the national gets some fast dudes there.
I was the only 2 stroke at PIR! Didn’t have a good experience, couldn’t figure out the whoops and was trying to stay safe for washougal, rode like a 🐱
