Also, it's actually sung by 3 members. Ryan sings the first verse, Sal does the second, and Brian (who's grandma the song is actually about) sings the final verse.
There are a lot of lyrics wrong here; "Do you recall the day you wed" not "do you recall and do you wed", "radiant bride" not "radiant pride", "Now I've dodged your questions so much", and lastly, it's "Predisposed to trust a photograph" (His family has a history of dementia and Alzheimer's) which is what the song is about to HIM. Interpret it however you'd like though. To me it reminds me of my ex and I driving over an hour every day to get our fix. I'd crank it up and sing it to her at the top of my lungs...God I miss that girl.

I used to be obsessed with this song, so glad I found it again!
This song was beyond beautiful live.
I really would have given anything to see them play this song live.
Sara Kotarski I would have cried

@LilMissPyro Brian wrote it about either his mum or grandma, one of them died of a drug overdose
I'm a new fan, and I'm a little upset that I just now found out about them... It sucks that they broke up.
I think its not about suicide but more like looking back at your life and accepting the end of life. Nonetheless, its an amazing and deep song :')
