  • This is the Vanderhall Venice Speedster. It costs $26,950, or a sneeze under $30K if you option it out, like this test vehicle. It only has three wheels, two in the front and one out back. It's also front-wheel drive, which means those front wheels have to work hard to steer, brake and accelerate the 1,375-lb Speedster. Oh, and it only has one seat, so enjoy the view from the driver's seat and see what the Vanderhall Venice Speedster is all about.

Wearing a full face helmet with earplugs will remove the noises mentioned. Plus it really looks race ready.

Would’ve liked this version more if they’ve would’ve made it center seated

I must admit., the single seat., double screen is part of that cop out..If you can be bothered to make a seating blanking plate., at least do a single screen..........The tandem seating.,look at the German 1950's cycle cars..

@@lgmisfit10....Ahhh...........young.,but not stupid..This front wheel drive set up was available ( in the UK ) in the kit car market based on Citroën 2CV., but then it had 110 bhp less..If you want to see what can be done with less.,there is a great piece of footage of a French woman in a faired bicycle doing 80 mph over a mile......the human animal is good for 1/2 kW output over this sort of distance..

I had a 2021 slingshot with auto and it sucks. Now I have a Vanderhall Carmel and I love the auto in this machine.

You don't add lightness, you remove weight. ;)

Cool little machine and it does look fun. I with ya on one thing... it definitely would benefit from a real manual transmission. Bump shift just ain't the same thing. Rowing a shifter, timing the clutch and throttle points, getting acceleration and deceleration exactly when you want it... whew! That would be a blast. I hope Vanderhall rethinks their market on this. Hell, charge a premium just so they can make it available.

Screw the other jackass comment, I very much enjoyed your review. I would personally get the Venice for the second seat, but the speedster does look epic. How is the steering feel? Is the rack straight out of the GM also, or did VH spice it up?

If memory serves, steering is bespoke to Vanderhall and hydraulic. Good feedback through the wheel, but being a large wooden wheel, it can be a bit imprecise when it comes to shooting for that next apex. However, it's such a small vehicle on the road that you have plenty of space within your lane to adjust and trim your line through the corners.

The automatic keeps the price down, and the vehicle will last longer with an automatic. Come drive my 2005 Honda Civic 2 door.

No tour of the car, constantly screaming, all the things said by the reviewer can be found online. Show us the car, add some transitions, and please drive slow so you don't have to scream. I felt tired like all of my soul had been sucked by the end of the "review".
p.s. You know you can do better than this. You got the car, you got cameras, just be little more creative.
