The love live minnows but will also go for small lures like Gulp Minnows, grubs, and small jerkbaits. Yellow bass are good eating, and fun to catch. Nice day fishing Alex. Water here is right at 65 for the public lake. Time to catch a bass! Keep It Realistic!
Yellow bass are fun to catch!
Looks like a nice day fishing, always enjoy the yellow bass run you get. Water temps still pretty cold here, still trying to break out of the skunk zone. I'll take anything 🤣
Love the classic minnow bucket!
Keep it Realistic!! Took my kiddos fishing this AM. We caught a large mouth!! Dinker but kids had fun!
Good call on moving to warmer water. Good tip.
I once went camping with my son's scout troop at a state fishing lake . The park patrol said that they didn't have the space for such a large group and in the future to probably go somewhere else. The scouts project was picking up trash around the lake. Two eight ft truck beds full to the truck rooftop. The park patrol said afterwards we can come back whenever we want. Was a great weekend.
Nice yellows and chunky gill!!! the skipjack too. I'd love to be out at the lake trying my hand, but the classic is going on here in Anderson on lake Hartwell, and there's boats everywhere.
Happy Saturday yall
The ZOMBIE bass. Nice big one. Good trip.
Nice yellows today
Great video my friend. Youre inspiring me.to try bass fishing. Looks complicated but if i watch your videos i think i will learn the skill
We call those "Fukushima fish" out here on the west coast!
I'm a big fan of your fishing, congratulations your fishing equipment is fantastic, you are an excellent and very successful fisherman!👍🥰🔝🎣
I hope to catch a yellow bass someday!
Very cool video
That second yellow bass looked sick with vhs which is fish disease where they bleed on the surface. It’s common on drum here in the Great Lakes now.
The Temps are rising
I've seen you take trout home that weren't going to make it and you refer to bluegill keeper size, what other kinds of fish that you catch locally that you eat or have eaten?
Catfish and white bass are other fish I like to eat
Want to know the lake name
👍🏻😎🍻
Zombie bass
It's been cold up here in Maine. Can't wait for some warmer weather and for the ice to melt. Nice catches Alex.
The log has been a great spot for you!
55⁰ the bass should be moving up preparing for the spawn
I went out yesterday to my friend's pond, and got totally skunked. I saw them swimming around, but they wanted nothing I had to offer. Seeing you catch something is a good pick me up from the beating I got yesterday!
The white and yellow bass just started running the creeks this year, great fight on them. Here in east Texas they (yellow bass) are considered game fish but they have no size or length limits.
Always awesome to have a multi species fishing trip! Thanks for keeping it realistic brother 🎣👍
Amazing the difference a few degrees in temperature makes .
Any day of catching is better than a day of work
You’re giving me hope that spring will eventually get here. Great informative show!
Yay 🙌 🙌 so glad the yellow bass are coming in!!! Great video 📹 Alex!
You cast so well with your line out so far. What type or line are you using? Do you ever use a slip bobber? Why or why not? God Bless and love the videos!
That’s awesome! Glad to see you catching bass and nice sized ones. great job.
I took the red pill and now all I can see is Realistic Fishing… 💊
Fun to finally get a species back on the line that has been absent for months...even if one of them was wicked messed up.
The pre-spawn is finally here for smallmouth here in Washington
Those fins looks like they'd HURT if the fish got squirrely lol!
Do you ever keep any of the fish you catch?
I live in middle Tennessee too, and I can confirm..... They can poke ya.
@@Mark-uo4nf yeah man those spines look SHARP
Great video Alex. It is a beautiful day today and I can’t go fishing. I’m sad but, the weather is warming and there will be another day.
Damn that bluegill is almost as big as one of those yellow bass. Very very cool.
Very cool assortment of fish. Thanks for the great content Alex!
Wish we had yellow bass here. Good job Alex!
Something strange going on with that yellow bass for sure!
Went to the Clinch today on the Virginia side, caught the first sizeable small mouth of the year. Looking forward to the start of spring! Great video as always, sir.
Hey Alex good morning I'm her watching
Difference in temps more species and sizes make for greater plops.
Happy fishing Saturday my friend 👍🏼I always enjoy seeing your fishing videos you make my day a little bit brighter
I tried doing a catfish video for my channel today and couldn’t get away from the yellow bass. Biggest was 10”. So close to a tarp but so far away lol
About the same here in Kentucky
What is that 'float rig' you're using? The rigs i use to set max depth all have strings
, beads to stop , and a huge bobber... yours looks smaller and more conveniant and less 'in the fish's face'
This is a pinch on cigar float, with a small pinch on sinker, and a hook. Thats it
I've never seen a yellow Bass I felt like an idiot when I heard it, white bass up north what's the difference
Its gold colored, and doesnt get as large as a white bass
Hey at least you got out for a while...KIR
It’s a lazy Saturday so I’m gonna do what Alex does. Gonna go shop for bargains. Ollie’s and maybe Dicks. Trying to keep it realistic.
Keep it realistic!!! Don’t forget to give some baits/lures away, 😂😁
woohooo the Log ah well you got to go where the fish are biting
Today was a really great day for you with the catches. The strips were great size and the blue gill was pretty thick. Cant wait to get out myself with the beautiful weather we've been having
JUST want to know that this 80-year-old man is ENJOYING your video,s THANKS
Thanks for watching Edward
Good episode as always. The grind is never over
Zombie fish great...LOL
Great video Alex as always way to go!!!! Can't wait for temps to warm up here in NY so I can get my fishing game on!!!!!!!
👍for keeping it realistic
We are watching Realistic fishing. Keep it realistic
I told everyone the zombie fish apocalypse was coming! But did they believe me? NO! Now who's laughing?
Wasn’t expecting that big bluegill since they lately in your vids they didn’t care for the minnows and on other baits they were all smaller. Good sign for the upcoming spring 👌
Another great session!
Great video Alex!!! Those were some nice yellow bass and even that bluegill was nice!!! Hopefully the water will warm up soon. Thanks for taking us along with you and for always keeping it realistic!!!!
Nice job! Things are starting to pick up with warmer weather! Love those guest plugs!🏆
Hey Alex awesome fish catches loving the warmer weather here in Eastern NC it is definitely making the fish more active.
Look like you had a good fishing Alex...I went fishing for some smallies Friday with no luck..Still to cold up here in Pa.. Temperature's we're 73 yes and Warm but calling for Ice on Wed and Thursday.. Thanks as always for the great videos..KIR🎣
Sup Alex. Great video. 2 Yellow bass and a skipjack, both we don't have in RI lol. And a gill on a minnow wow. Crazy how different regions have different species? Ty tc
My local creek is warming up, but I think the fish have moved on to deeper waters so there isn't much biting. It almost looks like that second yellow bass got attacked by something, maybe a catfish, and got away.
Hi Alex
Zombie fish at SLELATOR park, coincidence?? I think not ☠️☠️☠️
Hand sanitizer after handling that Yellow Bass. Looks like something out of that movie Cabin Fever 🤣😂
The yellow Bass looked healthy except the bubble eye. Always fun to catch different species. Thanks for the video and all you do for the channel. KiR!!!
Definitely turning yellow! Productive day. Thanks Alex!
Way to go though bud keeping it realistic out there it's raining here so I'm in the shop doing blacksmithing today trying to get this order filled for some cleavers guy wants some cleavers handmade so I'm hand making cleavers so I'm keeping it realistic in the shop keep up the good work God bless
Nice to see those yellow bass, but that bluegill was a stud! Looked like it had shoulders on it. Nice job, Alex, KIR!
Love that it's warming up, got out yesterday and caught 6 with one being 2.73 lb, great video
Hey Alex.... could the zombie bass's eye have happened from having a hook in his eye?
I've caught plenty of white bass. Don't think I have ever caught a yellow bass before. I know they are out there.
I was just thinking it's been a lil while since you've done a video at the private club hasn't it? Have you done any minnow fishing there recently?
Right now Alex. I am glad the minnows are finally putting in work and catching fish. KIR
Around here the whitebass has an eye fungus that killed alot of them off not sure what happened to that yellow bass but either attacked by a predator fish or maybe got snagged and dragged through something 🤔
Man great yellow bass, enjoyed the video! Thanks for keeping it realistic!!
Nice 🐟 fish 😁always enjoy your videos 👍👍👍thanks
The second fish looked like a very lucky one. He looked as though he survived a pike or other toothy fush bite and was healing up.
I've seen some good times at this park.usually he.always goes to.yellow bass park at this time of year
Dude, I liked how you called those carcasses my buddies. Ha thats something I would say haha.
It seems like you could catch fish anywhere, anytime! KIR-istic!
Fishing still is tough here, can't get a bite from bass as the water is still too cold, perhaps I should ether down size or go find more spots to try out.
Good catches. Even with the zombie. The water is warming up!
No yellow bass where I am living now but they are fun to catch. Keepin it real!
Nice fish! The weather in the Atlanta area was too good to not wet a line.... I got skunked, but it was better than being at work.
Good day for cooler water conditions. Are skipjacks native species?
Looks like the trees are budding . Warm weather and warm water is around the corner.
I go out to the log on the kayak for skips yellow whites and hybrids
Why do u call it skellator park? "Or however u spell it lol"
All those catches would have been a blast on that ultralight. Thanks for sharing.
Nice fishing. Thumbs up video.
I’ll take a zombie bass over a skunk.
We’ll done
Havnt caught yellow bass in years
