Absolutely a beautifully haunting rendition. WOW...I don't think Mr Ferry has ever made a bad cover of any song, he takes them and owns them. What vision, what talent, what pleasure it has been for me listening to him since the early 70s

I have seen and heard the original performer (Robert Palmer) perform this live and most recently in 1988 at the Apollo Theater in Harlem, New York. Check out the original, on 1980's "Clues," by Robert Palmer.
