I lived EVERYWHERE and only KSDK sets people up for conversations while cooking and then rushes them for presentation. You should see what they did to the owner of Sweety Pies. Made her look like an uncoofed amateur- even though she blew Oprah away with cooking.
I agree. Saint is my hometown and I was surprised that neither of them had this sandwich before. You cant be from Saint Louis and never experience the St Paul
Maybe she just moved there lol. Never thought of this until I ran out of rice. I’ve lived in Chicago, Indiana and now Texas for the last 7 years. Never knew this was a thing anywhere.
Thank you for making this correctly. However, it is not an egg foo young patty. Egg foo young is made flat in a pan versus deep fried. It also comes with a gravy and typically has white rice in it.
I don't believe you are from STL!! St Paul sandwiches are cooked daily on the Northside, Southside, Westside and North County . I reside in Orange County California and they sure in the hell never heard of this. They have an excuse
I wish the video was just of him making the sandwich and explaining how without the two hosts. They aggravate the shit out of me.

Aggravating af. Girl hush!

I wish the hosts gave him more time and stayed in the background.
We called these combination sandwiches on the east coast.
The hosts live in St. Louis and don’t know what St. Paul is? Fritter? 🙄 cut it out. This irked me too lol
becauseImKblack yes! Calling it a fritter messed me up 🤣🤣😉
They dont go to "that" part of town.
90% percent of white folks in STL have no idea what a St. Paul is and they're missing out. Plus you really can't get good ones west of 170.
😂😂

Yes that is exactly it!
Mai Lee has thee BEST St.Paul in St.Louis
Disagree....Try Leawa Chop Suey in Moline Acres for the best rice and St. Paul.
I love Asia Gourmet in downtown Saint Louis Missouri.
🙄These women were mad annoying.
Next time just have the chef make the dish without the 2 annoying hosts. They added nothing to the video.
Those chicks are annoying as hell. Thanks for showing me how to make this. I'll never pay for one again.
Eh... Should have gone to "Park Chop Suey" on Chouteau. That's where the St. Paul originated.
Get rid of the host with the longer hair 🤦🏽♀️. Its not egg foo yung
i grew up with this. Mom would make this for dinner and leftovers would turn into a sandwich for school. You don't need to fry in all that oil!!😮
It sounds like two Karen’s. EVERYTHING is ethnic
Love it yummy
If they mention the damn OIL one more time 🙄 I hate a OH IM TOO GOOD type person!

I’m Chinese and grew up in St. Louis my whole life. I’ve never heard of this until now. This is definitely not Chinese food. This is American food.
Well it was created in umm...St.Paul by a st.louisan nobody Said it was Chinese but it is Chinese-American since they the only ones who cook it 🙄
Duh!!!! We know its Americanized
🙄No shit.

Well that sucked.
