I have two 1.0s and planning to buy 4 more. I have a good deal offered on the 1.0 but unsure if it’s better to get the 2.0 vs the 1.0 for standard uplighting and basic stage/wash lighting.
While i agree these are expensive, I have the 1.0 cans & coins and love them. I have also just bought an 8 pack of the BOTH IR4’s. Build quality seems good BUT they are rgbwauv and out of the box the 30 colours they offer are pretty much rubbish. Not a patch on Ape and the remote programming is poor too along with the app. Ill keep them for rental or room fill but ill defo be getting some APE maxis and sticks next. Like Apple products they just work, the eco system if great and the W-app is a fab addition for other non ape DMX. That’s my 2 cents worth anyway

Unless you’re using separate for a diff application we just see the 2.0 as worth extra cost

The 2.0 is such a solid light but man is it hard to pull that hanging bracket out.. even with two hands! lol Still worth it though ;)
