- LSU head women's basketball coach Kim Mulkey met with the media Thursday morning where she introduced Tiger Hall of Fame basketball player Seimone Augustus as a new member of her coaching staff.

Can’t help but to think that this coaching hire is part of a succession plan.
Kim’s contract is until 2033, so Seimone would have to stick around for 10 years (which would be great!)
Got damn don’t Seimone already sound like a seasoned coach? Angel brought us our first basketball Natty and I love me some Bayou Barbie and down the line she deserves a statue. But let’s be real, Seimone Augustus is the greatest, most talented and most decorated women basketball player in LSU history, FACTS!!!!!

Mulkey only cares about winning. The only people who have made negative comments are people who put themselves before the program. A players sexual orientation contributes absolutely NOTHING to the advancement of the program. To be publicly whining about being a victim because of race or sexual orientation (ESPECIALLY AT A CHRISTIAN INSTITUTION SUCH AS BAYLOR) is selfish, entitled and childish and doesn't contribute to winning championships and only creates toxicity in the lockeroom, so she doesn't have time for it.

I finally got where the nickname “Coach Money” comes from. Seimone refers to herself using that name. She impressed me as someone who knows how to promote herself without taking away from others. We’ll see how this almost too perfect combination works out. I have great hopes because LSU will benefit.

You can tell how nervous Semoine was, the shaky and crackling voice when she spoke shows she’s not used to being in front of a mic and reporters asking questions. She will speak to players like a player, but being at the mic is a different level. Not many of Mulkey’s coaches get in front of the mic, so hopefully Semojne will get comfortable, if chosen to have that opportunity to be asked questions as a coach.

This was more a PR move than anything else. With this hire, Kim killed three birds with one stone- she hired someone that's a bit more relatable to the younger players, she hired a gay individual which will help repair her tarnished image regarding gay players. Also, unlike Dawn Staley, who has former players dropping by to help promote the brand, she only has Angel who is just getting started, so Seimone's LSU roots will be valuable. At the end of the day, she is hoping for a recruiting boost, my friends. †

A lot of teams are not on the floor for the national anthem. Many teams use it for final prep. Most college football teams are not on the field during the anthem. Y’all are trying to make it something it’s not
