And ironically, it was a self-proclaimed super villain that prevented the creation of a true super villain.

The fun thing here is that you get little hints about the downside of Mera's Epithet. In one of the character descriptions it says that her nail polish is always chipping for some reason and that her toe is genuinely broken after kicking that one box.

Fun Fact: Should EE get a 3rd 'season' (we've had 2 media changes the span of 2 'seasons') Mera is planned to be the main character. The way I see it, EE seems to be more about its world than any one character
Also Fun Fact: Percy becomes a much more important character in the next few eps. And we see her Epithet!

the sequel to this series is found in the book Epitaph Erased: Prison of Plastic and more to come including novelization of the Museum arc and Redwood run arc! the audio-book features the cast from the original series reprise the their roles.
also i believe jello has stated that if he would only get EE animated again is if he got millions of dollars (i don' t remember the exact amount) because of how expensive it was the first time and amount of stress he got from it
@@josukex42 Yeah, he literally said the deal with VRV sucked so much ass that he almost went into debt due to production costs, despite how well the show was doing. Which really sucks.
Hooray for more Epithet Erased! Good things take time, so it makes sense that it's like three months between episodes... and that's why I'm looking forward to the next one, even if it sticks to the pattern!
As for the episode itself, I always love seeing people react to the reveal of Mera's epithet; it's such a well done moment. Bonus thought: "Sylvie's ultimate technique is transforming in to his fursona"

I just had a brain blast watching this reaction, specifically concerning a name etymology for one of the characters:
I sometimes dabble with Scottish Gaelic words, (just a hobby, not fluent), and I remembered the word "Aisling", which means "dream". How do you pronounce it: well, I'm far from perfect with this, but it should be something along the lines of either "AASH-link(y)" or "AASH-ling".
Now think about it: Dr. Ashling...as in DR. "AISLING"! The epithet is in the name, and his name is "Dr. Dream"!

fragile is arguably one of the 2 strongest epithet's in season 1. fragile has 0 ceiling to its max power and potential, meaning it grows stronger as the more powerful the user becomes, meaning on someone like indus or a person you'll meet later who likes to build had it would be a one shot to most people. its only cap is how strong the user is as well as how much damage they can sustain. its rival over powered power is "sundial". It's the only competition in season one for most op power but unlike fragile it has a set limit to its strength and its already at max.

In the spirit of getting one shot in a boss fight in D&D, I run a couple D&D games, and in one, one of the players started a fight with the big bad by running forward and insulting the big bad's granddaughter (vicious mockery). The big bad in question (an old, fallen paladin on horseback) ran forward, crit a smite (I declared it was a smite before the crit, by the way), and outright killed the player character (double his health), fully beheading him. It was wild.

@@NevaehEvol Luckily (?) one of the players had to miss that session, and since we were on Roll20, I gave the player whose character had just died access to that character sheet so he'd still have someone to control during the fight.
I have been waiting for this one, I gotta say I originally wasn’t very much for going into that Series due to how it’s Style, but now i realize how much of a mistake that was.
I really appreciate that you’re reacting to this Show and i hope we don’t have to wait too long for Episode 4, which if i remember correctly is the Finale of the First Arc.

I’m not sure who my favorite substitute teacher was, but the most interesting was definitely the man who came to school with a sword cane. He only came one (for pretty obvious reasons) but that was very neat to see.
19:26 My favorite substitute teacher was an older lady who was a sub for almost every year of my school-life, 1st grade to 12th grade. She even was family friends with some of my classmates and knew some of them since they were literal babies! She treated all of us like her own grandchildren ❤️❤️
